 ;D

I first posted on the INSM hot board on August 17th..

My buyins were at $.91, $.93, $1.05, $1.17, $1.23, $1.32, $1.42, $1.71, $1.81, and now $2.55...I noted a definite lack of traffic on the board, so haven't been back much since...

Now that we have everyone's attention...

This is a long term play, in my book, although I have already taken 4 blocks off the table at over 140%. Todays block for sale is a mixed bag of buys that will only clear 80%+...

The swing traders will get their day shortly when the stock stalls between $3.50 and $3.90...

There are about 20 million shares out there (give or take 4 or 5 mil) that will double at these prices, profit taking will abound....the stock will stop and rest for a well desrved "breather" before it trudges dutifully up to $5...then the game changes...

My '06 target for INSM is around $20.00...I'm not a TA zealot, and use it only for timing analysis for entries/exits. INSM needs a partner purely for self defense purposes, the two names I'm hearing now are Genentech (YES DNA!!) and Novartis...I'd throw Pfizer into that mix just because PFE is hurting for a pipeline at the moment, and you can't find a better one anywhere...even if it is the same drug, being tested on multi-indications.

Currently price targets are $10-$12 tops around the analysts and chart watchers, that goes out the window with a partner.

Good to see some traffic on this mb for a change, even if it was a bit late getting here. Not to worry though, this stock is my "tortoise"...NVAX is my "hare" and the race to $20.00 is on...

Good luck to all, good trading...

Always buy the pipeline. Once the FDA gave the orphan status it just woke the market up to INSM. I was surprised it didn't pop 40-50 % the day of approval. But it has been slowly and steadily climbing. Got in long ago and watched it for YEARS! Finally paying off. Now I'm watching GNBT. I'm in INSM to 20. Maybe this year. Seen it before at BLUD, HITK, MDCI, BDY. This is the year of BIO. It's been long time coming!

???Cut my position here in half in anticipation of the pullback. Loaded up some more NVAX awaiting bird flu funding news....didn't see the overall market correction coming, this hit almost everyone like a freight train at a crossing...but INSM is only down 10% in the past two days.

Buying opp here, InsMed is starting to provide some historical chart patterns to follow now that it's actually going somewhere. If the market drop levels off, I look for one or two more days in the $2.70 range...three max. Then it's on to $3.50 WITHOUT any news. We had a huge volume block changing hands for about a week in the $1.70 to $1.85 range, so I am still expecting the stock to stall at $3.50 for some profit taking...the good thing about the pullback and the correction occuring at the same time is the rally should continue for some time once it resumes, and there is no significant resistance above $3.50 at all.

My goals here are simple, build long term positions in INSM/NVAX by swing trading 40% to 50%  blocks of each stock between the two of them, and buying call options as the opprtunities present themselves...until this week the plan was working just fine. One lesson learned though, no "sideline" money means no cash to buy into a huge opportunity like this...

P.S. Norvartis' name has come up in the rumor mill for an INSM partner....

Good luck and good trading, see you at $20.00....

Still holding all of my position. Averaged in from 1.98  Was a bit to aggressive early on with my 2.14 buy. Came to my senses and averaged in. Glad things worked out!

I dont plan on selling anytime soon...

Nice chart, nice volume this really could be the next VPHM.

 8) I use shorter term charts for indicators when I'm considering entry/ exit points...5, 10, 20 day sma's and MACD/RSI for triggers. Right now, if you look at the 10 day, INSM's been bouncing off that, when it gets anywhere near it.

I think we continue consolidation at $2.70 on Monday,  then resume the uptrend to the $3.50ish level, where the stock will consolidate again.

All in my humble opinion, of course...

Good luck..
