David, is that INSM chart.. I thought you're doing an update for GIGM ;)

Just noticed and fixed it Terlisa, thanks  :)

Hmm... Melf Elf, that early spike up to a high of 4.92 has got me worried now - I know it didn't quite hit your 4.96 shoulder, but was pretty close.  That may have been the rally high.  The rest of the day the chart has been looking fairly weak.   I bought in just recently aound 4.75, so am flirting with break even.It seems to be holding up around 4.70 for now though - to my mind it could really go either way from here.

(TOP) Head & Shoulders pattern is completed on GIGM chart.

Terlisa,

(TOP) Head & Shoulders pattern is completed on GIGM chart.

I'm confused. What does the above mean? Is GIGM going to go down? ???

Oh.. do you mean that it dropped down below the neckline and it the target (and now is bouncing back up)..? or is the target actually 3.19 according to the following from Melf Elf:

3. The Right Shoulder of the H&S Top, at 4.96.  If GIGM clears it, that would CANCEL the H&S top target of 3.19 that now is ON HOLD, as long as GIGM remains above the neckline.

Scotsman,

Yes, we're in a "neutral zone," here.  Below the high of the right shoulder (4.96), but above the neckline of the H&S top.

At first flush, that does seem worrisome.  If we close near hear, we'll have a Bearish Inverted Hangman on the daily chart.  But, that still could work out very nicely for the bulls.

- I know it didn't quite hit your 4.96 shoulder, but was pretty close.  That may have been the rally high.

It could have been the end of the rally, or the H&S Top could be "morphing" (changing) into a Bullish Inverted H&S bottom, with the neckline at 4.96 and today's high of 4.92.

In other words, the high of the right shoulder of the H&S top has become a possible Left Shoulder of an Inverse H&S bottom.

The fact that GIGM has regained the neckline of the H&S top, and the fact that we have a Bullish Wolfe Wave on the intraday chart with the prescriptive "fakeout" at Wave 5 is suggestive of a bullish resolution, as long as we remain above the neckline of the H&S top.

Quote
The rest of the day the chart has been looking fairly weak.

That also is suggestive that we're putting in a Right Shoulder of a Bullish Inverse H&S on today's selloff.  Right shoulders are notoriously weak, low volume affairs.

Good luck, Scotsman, and to all 3SOF longs.  I hope it's a winner for you.

GIGM currently is BID 4.63...ASK 4.64, down seven cents.

I'll show you the three intraday charts:

1. The Bearish H&S Top (this post)

2. The Bullish Inverse H&S Bottom possibility (next post)

3. The Bullish Wolfe Wave (post after that)

Melf Elf

The Right Shoulder of the H&S Top now has become a "possible" Left Shoulder of a bullish Inverse H&S bottom.  More selloff here to complete the Right Shoulder even would be desireable, as long as we don't dip back below the neckline of the H&S top, which would negate this possibiltity.

An upside takeout of the neckline at 4.96-4.92 would indicate that the neckline break of the H&S top was a fakeout.  The Bullish Wolfe Wave already is indicating that.

As we can see, patterns sure "morph" a alot, so we'll have to watch it.

Melf Elf

The downside fakeout to Wave 5, as Calven has taught us, is characteristic of Bullish Wolfe Waves.  (Opposite for Bearish WWs).  The fact that after the fakeout at Wave 5, GIGM broke out above the Wolfe Wave pattern AND got back above the neckline of the H&S top seems to be telegraphing at the moment that the breakdown, indeed, was a fakeout.

Putting in the second data point of the neckline this morning at 4.92, then the selloff to form the right shoulder looks very constructive for a move up to knock out the 4.92-4.96 neckline when the right shoulder completes.

It's very important, obviously, that this current selloff isn't too deep (back below the H&S Top neckline).

Thanks for all your work and analysis on GIGM Melf Elf, I'm glad the chart is turning more bullish  :)

As I see it, the stock consolidated its short term gains for 2 days with very low volume, and yesterday the bulls came in again and volume increased, as it should in the bullish case.

We're still waiting for some earnings news on GIGM, for the 4th quarter of 2005, when Fun Town wasn't in play yet. But, as I recall, people playing games at their website was up 150% from prior levels, so I have no doubt that revenues and earnings will be up.

It will also be interesting to hear the company's guidance for the future.

I believe GIGM will make new highs above $5.63 soon and I'll continue holding the stock, both from a trading and an investment perspective.

Anyone know when earnings are??????

2.UCSY.OB

David , I follow this company since they buy solar IP company from Israel - Millenium.
On friday UCSY got $2.5 million in fundings that IMO extremly important because Millenium
has a lot of agreements and projects in Europe and US. Their patented MSS technology is
blockbuster, IMHO.

I think that this co. undervalued if we talk about fast growing solar energy industry.Remember
DESC, ESLR?!
What do you think?  :P

Best,

Hello shawFund  :)

I hope that bill does not pass ... GIGM is a Singapore based company. Legislation against online gambling is one of the most serious threats to this GIGM's trade and investment. I'll pay more attention to that issue going forward, thanks for your recall.

I'll analyze UCSY.OB tomorrow Vova, I hope it is an attractive pick to me, since I would like to buy some more penny stocks to the Pennies on Fire Portfolio. Thanks  :)

There's nothing new to say about GIGM on a trading perspective. I'm starting to think there's more to know about this pick than «online gambling is set to grow at a very fast pace for the next 5 to 10 years».

I'll take a deeper look at GIGM on the proper place, the Long Term on Fire Message Board.

I'll continue holding GIGM, both from a trading and investment perspective.
