Hi all,
We have a news:
http://biz.yahoo.com/e/060221/chid.ob8-k.html

"... China Digital will issue 18.5 million shares of its common stock..."
I'm not an expert in this field, but usually, new shares isn't good...
Any thoughts?

That's old news from Feb.15th due to the recent aquisition.

Michael,

I should explain, I believe CHID has more upside and wish I could hold long.

I have been lucky the last few months and have have some nice gains.

It is now time to spend it! ;D

I have taken a 2 months off and will be taking my boat to the Abacos in the Bahamas. I will hold a couple stocks but think CHID and a couple others will need attention I won't be able to provide.

No fundemental or technical reasons, just going sailing!

I was wondering if G's pick PTSC.OB could be a candidate for Pennies portfolio.

Just wish that David had read and picked up G's No. 1 pick for the Pennies Portfolio. The above quote is when PTSC was trading around 0.26

I know, I know, that was an astounding pick from Elite G (one more  :D). When I took a serious look at it the stock was already up 200% ... but probably still a nice play.

Nice explanation boatguy, good sailing  8)

CHID.OB is still extremely attractive, both on a fundamental and technical basis. I'm not selling this stock near current levels, not at all, since this is the best pick on the Pennies on Fire Portfolio.

I am not an expert in Momentum stocks but from my experience you normally get a second chance to buy in. I have been waiting a long time to add to my position but today I got my second chance.

Even though the price this time around is a bit higher than my first purchase I think it is fully justified by the fundamentals of this stock.

Now I can just sit back and wait for the rest of the market to discover the value of CHID!

The man did it again  :)

Exactly when technicals fail, Michael comes in with his fundamental expertise and he buys, against all technical logic, that says sell.

I'll just leave the annotated chart and wait for the outcome of this episode (the more I look into penny stocks, the more I know CHID.OB is quite unique and attractive as an investment).

Good numbers. That gives CHID a current PE of 11.4 and a forward PE of 5.6. CHID should be trading north of a dollar.

Did anyone ever figure out why it dropped from $1.80 to .40 between Jul 05 and Sep 05?

(NASDAQ: BRCD), Savvis, Inc. (NASDAQ: SVVS), One Voice Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: ONEV), and Global Signal Inc. (NYSE: GSL).

.

Watch this company for more breaking news! Chang Chun Zheng, CEO and Chairman of the Board of China Digital, said, "We have created a scalable operating platform that allows our two subsidiaries, E'Jenie and Zhuo Tong, greater access to shared resources, as well as provide significant cross-marketing and referral opportunities, which we believe can increase revenues by 100% year-over-year in 2006. If 3G systems are readily adopted in China, as we anticipate they will be, our initial projections for 2006 could be significantly higher due to increased demand for 3G components to power various telecommunicatons equipment and lithium ion mobile phone batteries. In addition to new markets, China Digital will continue to pursue business opportunities with a focus on achieving profitability through additional mergers and acquisitions within the telecommunication equipment and new energy industry fields."

Prior to yesterday's press release, the stock closed yesterday at Fifty Six cents a share.

CHID Gap-up @ open ... it's a huge one ;)

I will sell now from here & come back later, or is it a breakaway GAP?

Michael

Hi Terlisa and Oliver,

This is one of the reasons I love 3SOF. You really see both sides of the coin. Oliver (I think) and I see a share that is growing earnings with 517% and is trading at a forward PE of 6.3.

You see a stock that has a gap up and decide to take profit.

The beautiful thing is that I am sure all three of us will earn money on this stock even though our trading philosophy is soooo different!

Well, it wasn't a breakway gap since those are the ones that gap up over a resistance level. You did well taking profits, are you back in again Terlisa? I hope so, because CHID.OB really looks like a great opportunity.

Even if it doubles now it would still be cheap ... and they say their estimates of $0.10 in EPS for 2006 still don't take into account 3G in China, and shawFund, who goes to China regularly, says they will most probably adopt 3G.

Well, I'm glad to own this one ...

Still don't know why ... perhaps it was because of fear those 7 shareholders which have shares at $0.05 would dump them when they can. I don't know, but certainly they won't sell, or even if they do, someone will gladly take their shares, since the stock is so cheap (at least if these reports are all true, we hope there's no fraud here).

I'll continue holding CHID.OB.
