I hope LC doesn't mind me answering your question. I think you won't find an official post about the new management of 3SoF on the public boards, although there should have been  .


Anyways here is a copy of the e-mail sent this morning from Ramsburg :



I am happy to announce the addition of eliteG and Michael to the trading team!  It was our intention, for quite some time, to add more value to 3stocksonfire by including the best of the best of the technical and fundamental stock analysis worlds and this seems like the right time to do it.

Also at this time David Randolph, has for personal reasons, decided to take a step back from duties at 3stocksonfire. David will therefore take a secondary roll behind the scene.  We are however committed to ensure that 3SOF will continue to be the best place on the Internet to share ideas for traders and investors.

eliteG, Michael and I(Ramsburg) will take over the responsibility of the 3SOF's portfolio's.

Both Michael and eliteG are well known to most members of 3SOF but please allow me to introduce them.

eliteG is a gifted technical analyst.  He has had some amazing picks on 3SOF and has also shown that he cares about the traders here by giving them top-notch technical advice during market hours.  eliteG is knowledgeable about almost everything in the TA world but has also come up with many of his own theories, the most famous being the G-Pattern.  eliteG brings almost 7-years of trading experience to the table.

Michael is a world-class fundamental trader. We have probably all followed some of his picks like KOMG, GIGM and CKCM. Michael Bang Koenig has more than 20 years of stock market investment experience.  His long-term view on investments is probably reminiscent of the time when you had to wait for the morning newspaper before you knew if you had made a good investment decision.

To accommodate the change of personalities we will be making some changes to the portfolios. We are however committed to the investment decisions David has made and we will only make changes if there are compelling fundamental or technical reasons.

I hope all of you will welcome the changes to 3SOF and will continue to contribute to making this forum one of the best places on the Internet for serious investors.

Great pick Livana. Way to pull out in front. I still hope I can catch up.

There've been some great picks in this round. I'm disappointed I don't have any of the high fliers in my portfolio like AFOP, AVNX, NENG, NVAX   I don't want to chase and end up buying the top. I do have the biggest loser DIET in my port, so I guess I can hang my hat on that. Lucky me. 

Those are some nice returns in the top ten there!! double digits in just a few days.

Wow.......Lot's of great picks this month.  I wish I bought all the stocks in the top 10

How about honoring our past winners with a gold star next to their name or something.  Something so that we know who our past winners are cause I think they need to feel honored to have won against so many great contributers to the board.  Anyways, that's just my 2 cents.

Unofficially sold my pick this morning. Meaning I didn't sell it for the contest but I sold it in my own portfolio and I don't think I'm going to win with it, barring some fantastic news soon. If I'd sold at the open for the contest it would have been a gain of 6.6%. That's not going to put me in the money so I'll let it ride and hope for a miracle.

Regarding PPHM - I see Lucas where you had drawn the Pennant using the dotted lines and the lower trend line had one candle touch and 2 long shadow touches from the other two candles...  FWIW I always generally try to not include shadow touches in my potential chart patterns because they can skew any daily results.  A stock may trade 400k shares in a day at $3 but somehow one trader gets a piddly low bid through for 300 shares at $2.40...So Do you include the shadow for a miniscule 300 shares at $2.40 when drawing your trend lines or exclude the shadow deeming it to be insignificant?  I almost always without question ignore it.
The times they do get included on my trendlines using the main bodies of the candles is usually just coincidence.  FWIW - Dead.......

Today could be the exhaustion because of the parabolic move and record volume. I placed a stop market order at $3.95 as it bounced off $4 3 times today. gotta protect the profit and lead!
But who knows, this could run again tomorrow, who knew it could run this much, haha. I will sell if it spikis near $5 ( resistence back in 2001) for contest purpose.

so, for now , stop @ $3.95 or it hits $5
