CVM is loosing momentum, volume is low, and we had another red day on this stock. The $0.75 support was tested again, creating a small reaction there, but nothing serious.

It possible that the «green light» takes a bit more days to come, although we'll still be using the $0.69 stop level on this trade and wait developments.

Ramsburg.. This is a goodsupport area..67.-70.   I see why you used .69 but I am selling on a close below .67.. not just a print.. An announcement is inniment in my opinion from company on there most promising product.. Could go either way..

Your plan is also solid... Since $0.69 is also a strong technical reference, it may act as a good support, and your $0.67 level is a good spot... (I let you my updated chart in attach)

By some reason our stop at $0.69 didnt sell our position, but in order to follow the plan we sold immediately at $0.70.

PS: CVM will remain on our watch list.

CEL-SCI Files Patent for Prevention/Treatment of Bird (Avian) Flu
Tuesday , April 04, 2006 09:45 ET

VIENNA, Va., April 4, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- CEL-SCI CORPORATION (Amex: CVM) announces that it has filed a provisional U.S. patent application covering its drug CEL-1000 for the prevention/treatment of bird flu and/or as an adjuvant to be included in a bird flu vaccine.

Geert Kersten, Chief Executive Officer of CEL-SCI said, "By filing this patent in the U.S., we are preserving our rights to file patents on this invention world-wide."

CEL-1000, when used as a single adjuvant (enhancer of a vaccine) or in combination with other adjuvants, potentiates Th1 (cellular) and innate (earliest stage) immune responses and protects animals from viral and parasitic challenge. CEL-1000 provides antigen-independent (i.e., non-disease specific) and broad-spectrum protection upon challenge with the disease causing agent(s), which is important against the bird flu virus since it exhibits a high mutation rate.

CEL-1000, is a patented defined amino acid sequence derived from the beta chain of human MHC-II, which itself is a modified version of a human immune- based protein known to bind to both human and mouse immune cells and appears to act by enhancing the host's protective immune response. It is a defined peptide, which binds to the CD4 and/or likely a related molecule LAG-3 on dendritic cells, macrophages and T cells, thereby promoting the release of cytokines responsible for activating a protective Th1 immune response (e.g., IL-12 and upon challenge IFN-gamma).

CEL-SCI Corporation is developing new immune system based treatments for cancer and infectious diseases. The Company has operations in Vienna, Virginia and Baltimore, Maryland.

Madge and others,

I own a bunch of shares from 1.44 - What do you suggest I do with this one??? Let it run or sell tomorrow morning for a nice 20% gain...?

Thanks,

RAMS - Would love your thoughts on tomorrow's price action here...

Normally I would take profits with the recent 110% run but with so much volume behind it, I think it may want more....

Wow this would have been a nice one to have held onto. I didn't play it but I've been in similar situations as the 3Stocks crew is here -- cutting for a loss and then a week later it blasts off. Probably most of us have.

Madge, congrats on the gain! But what happened to "I am selling on a close below .67" ;) It closed at .66 one day last week. You've made a good case against those who advise "never break your trading rules." Rules? We don't need no stinkin' rules! It's all about the Hamiltons baby ;D

I don't think you should have sold though. I'd have held for a gap up tomorrow, in case it gapped like BDCO did on Monday. You probably had a 100% gain though - hard to resist taking those profits. Very nice $-)
