Hi guys !

This is a very extremist vision of what's happening with the OIL... I don't share this apocalyptic vision, but some of the arguments make sense, and I think it worth a quick look on it, so I'll just post the link:
http://www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net/

I'm long term bullish on OIL, so I just had to read this guys ;)

Any opinions on this subject ?

Best regards !

One of the most interesting oil plays out there - or alternative energy plays, if you will, is a company that uses a process to convert natural gas to a diesel like fuel. -

If you see film of oil fields, coal beds, even landfills, you will see chimneys sticking out with flames burning off methane gas.  This is the same type of natural gas that can be used to heat your home.  The equivalent of millions of barrels of oil a day are burned.  Why?  because it is too expensive to build pipelines to transport the gas - and left in the ground, it could be volatile.  The other option is an expensive process to freeze the gas to sub zero temperatures which will condense it and make it easier to ship by tanker.  These cryogenic tankers are expensive as is the re-gasification process.

What to do - Way back when, the Nazis, having a tough time getting liquid fuel for their vehicles, developed the Fischer-Troupe process which thru a catalyst converts natural gas to a clean diesel fuel.  This process has been used for years by Sassol (SSL) the S. African oil company when S. Africa was boycotted due to their Apartheid govt.  They still use this process now.

My point is that an American Co., SYNM, is on the forefront of this technology, improving the catalyst (using air instead of O2) and streamlining the process with portable units.
There are acres of coal mines around the world as well as what is available in the middle east.
SYNM, with the price of oil reaching new highs, is a very viable company with a lot of potential.  Another co that has this process is RTK

SYNM has contracts with the military, they fuel busses in DC and their product is cleaner than diesel fuel.  I think it is a winner........

Hi Snowcat,

You have a great story on SYNM (applaud) ;)
You should also post this on «The story behind the move» board.
