i'm really surprised to hear that so many here are panic selling.  really, what is different about GnF's business plan or potential from yesterday or last week? because we've traded down two days after trading up for 3 days everyone thinks the sky is falling?  we are still up a heck of a lot from our pre circuit city national roll-out news, and are still above the lows for the stock since that news.  i've done my research, and i still believe strongly that GnF is undervalued.  I will be very surprised if this stock does not make a parabolic move upwards in the near future.  in the meantime, i intend to hold my shares.

First of all, I have been here for months, even holding when it printed .006's.  So I am far from a panic seller.  In fact, I spent weeks here with no other posters present.  I resent the comments above.

What changed for me was the most recent filing.  25 billion Authorized is one thing.  But they basically announced selling billions to market.  A big difference when they hit O/S.

Another deciding factor is that I am up nearly 100%.  Giving back principal when it produces a candle like today (closing near low too) is not quality trading.  I got the second round of buys in .012's and will not give that all back.  I can always get back in.

I see many traders waiting for AAFES news to sell it all off.  So the pop may be limited due to the billions of shares.

The main factor is that the upcoming Q will produce a major selloff.  The sub count will remain low as CC has not rolled out.  They added 2 billion shares to the float the last filing.  And this filing will be no different.

GZFX is not worth anything from a fundamental perspective.  The name CC is what keeps it up.  The VOD satellite deal and e-golf is fluff.  Read the filings and you will see that they spend a fortune each month.  And the sub count is not growing very quickly.  Chip hopes breakeven by year end.

You cannot blame people for flipping.  Until people can trust the company and they bring some revenue in, flipping is the only option here.

Understand that this is all my opinion.  But I have spent over a year here.  Even said at one point that I would wear a 3SOF tee-shirt for a year if a double was not produced.  Very few believed in me and GZFX at the time.  So please respect that I come to the table and back up my sale with reasons.

I will certainly be back.  It depends on the chart and if news is expected.  I know this company well and will always keep it close on the Streamer.

Good luck.

Just one opinion, do the research

Good points fill_the_gap.  Watching the streaming quotes today, I feel that STTK may have pulled many traders away from other stocks like GNBT, NVAX, etc. (10-18% drop!).  As the share price approaches my buy point, I will take GZFX day by day.  Current resistance is at $0.0158 and support is at $0.0116.

Was STTK's gain against the technicals a fluke?  Now RSI is above 90 and STTK had a strong gain today.  I thought STTK would take profit this morning, but I guess I was wrong.  Will STTK be able to sustain the gains again tomorrow?  My guess is that when STTK sells off, many will buy back stocks that took a dip like GZFX, GNBT, etc.  Time will tell.

As to swing trading, technical indicators for GNBT are remaining in the "sell column."  As indicators shift to the "buy column" I am looking to buy back GNBT as MACD/RSI bottoms.

Stocksquire,

I expected AAFES news by today.  The price action was enough for me to evaluate an exit.  The new share count is out of control.  And the reality that AAFES may be priced in hit today.

The part that truly sealed the deal was that the quarter ended last week.  I do not trust management enough to know when the quarterly will be filed.  They filed the 10K months in advance.  There is no way that the filing will be received as a positive.  The truth of how many shares have been dumped will be realized.

I will be back, but probably not until after the selloff on the filing.

I got more than a double when you factor in flipping the shares on the CC deal.  It is time to cash out on this trade, imo.  Sure, it will go up on AAFES.  But how much ?  And how many shares will be sold into that rally by GZFX.  No guarantees when the news will be released either.  It concerns me that CC did not rally it much more.

My rule of thumb is to not give back 100% gain.  You may have have an entry and exit strategy that works for you.

See you back here soon enough.

My repost from 3SOF Penny GZFX MB:
http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=2047.msg55539#msg55539

Well, I did say this was a "speculation" play.  ;)  You win some, and you lose some.

My buy in was at $0.0125, so I am still positive.

In retrospect, I did believe that the push to $0.02 would happen.  In midst of positive momentum, there were issues of nervous holders uncertain of GZFX being able to sustain gains, billions of shares released (of how many sold we don't know), and I still believe STTK pulled many buyers away and prompted many holders of GZFX to sell so that they can jump on the STTK wagon.

Will GZFX go any lower?  I am willing to take some more loss to find out (the gambler in me)  ;)  I will see what happens to GZFX on market open.

My sentiment is that STTK must have price correction/take profit eventually with RSI 90+.  With last two days of fall GZFX may be attractive for rebound buy as I wait for GNBT to show indicators of bottomming.  Stock trading is my hobby, and when my trades don't go as well as I anticipated, I learn from them.  :D

Also, I am not sure, but this may have had a part today:

Netflix sues Blockbuster to shut online service
Tuesday April 4, 7:57 pm ET
By Gina Keating

Online DVD rental company Netflix Inc. on Tuesday sued rival Blockbuster Inc. for patent infringement, asking a federal judge in Northern California to shut down Blockbuster's 18-month-old online rental service and award Netflix damages, according to a copy of the filing.

Netflix, which was founded in 1999, holds two U.S. patents for its business methodology, which calls for subscribers to pay a monthly fee to select and rent DVDs from the company's Web site and to maintain a list of titles telling Netflix in which order to ship the films, according to the patents, which were included as exhibits in the lawsuit.

The first patent, granted in 2003, covers the method by which Netflix customers select and receive a certain number of movies at a time, and return them for more titles.

The second patent, issued on Tuesday, "covers a method for subscription-based online rental that allows subscribers to keep the DVDs they rent for as long as they wish without incurring any late fees, to obtain new DVDs without incurring additional charges and to prioritize and reprioritize their own personal dynamic queue -- of DVDs to be rented," the lawsuit said...

However, read this at the end of the article:

... Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter, who also is an attorney, said it was unclear whether Netflix's challenge to Blockbuster's online service would be upheld by the federal court.

"It's my opinion that it won't be," Pachter said. "Blockbuster detrimentally relied on their silence as consent. If in fact (Netflix) feels so damaged they should have sought injunctive relief before Blockbuster rolled out its service.
"

And BTW, wouldn't you think that Circuit City would have been aware of any Netflix patent related issues before they went nationwide with GameZnFlix?  With the Netflix vs BlockBusters issue, Circuit City stock went up in price today.

What do you think?

On Raging Bull, there's talk of GameZnFlix commercial being aired during TV show American Idol.  If it is true, very nice for GZFX.

Knot So Nice
http://www.fool.com/news/mft/2006/mft06040402.htm

By Rick Aristotle Munarriz (TMFBreakerRick)
04/04/2006

It helps when you admit that you're wrong. Yesterday, JPM Securities upgraded online wedding-planning site The Knot(Nasdaq: KNOT) from "Market Perform" to "Market Outperform." The boost comes on the heels of a JPM Securities downgrade less than six months earlier.

A lot happened to The Knot between the Oct. 26, 2005, downgrade and Monday's eventual upgrade. The company wound up producing more-than-respectable financial results. It was able to cool down its legal tussle with WeddingChannel.com. It was singled out as a recommended stock to Rule Breakers subscribers. And, of course, the stock also happened to jump 51% higher.

JPM wasn't the only company on the wrong side of untying The Knot. Four months ago, TheStreet.com's (Nasdaq: TSCM) Jim Cramer dug into the company in Mad Money.

"I wouldn't chase this stock in the low teens, as it has already gained more than 150% on the year," Cramer argued.

It's flawed logic, of course. Just because a stock has risen in the past does not mean that it won't keep rising in the future. It bears noting that if 150% is such an impressive number, then the company's ability to grow earnings per share by 220% in 2005 should be quite the head-turner. With yesterday's close of $18.69, the stock has gone from the low teens to a consenting adult, inching more than 40% higher along the way.

The Knot's popularity is as simple as understanding the nature of its traffic. With fiancees looking to drop some serious amounts of money on their weddings, everyone from catering-hall managers to mullet-sporting wedding singers pay for representation on The Knot.

The Knot has launched other sites like PromSpot, which taps a younger, more naive audience: kids willing to pay to look their best for their high school proms. There is also The Nest, a spot dedicated to newlyweds making many of their first decisions together.

Along the way, The Knot has struck content-streaming deals with Comcast(Nasdaq: CMCSA) and a credit card product with American Express(NYSE: AXP). The shares may not seem cheap these days, but the company continues inching closer to the airborne floral bouquet.

With performance like this, even JPM should be applauded for a second shot at love.

Thanks fill_the_gap and MoabHQ for your comments.

Continuing gain for GNBT and GZFX closed green!  :D  STTK dropped all the way down to $0.62!  Wow!

Nice job on AANI.  Very trendable.  And look at the RSI at 10 in January!  Would have been a nice buy point with over 100%+ gain since then.  ;)

Hello LiveLife.  Today CUP had a breakout with big volume after several days of downtrend.  How do you see the template applied to this one?

Thanks in advance!!!!

Nica33 :D
Keep it simple !!

nica33,

CUP's RSI/MACD "appears" to be bottoming, but keep in mind that today's gain was very large.  The previous profit taking point for CUP was RSI 50.  So, be careful and watch this stock closely.

On "Falling" stocks, you must be sure that the rebound is a "true" rebound.  Actively gaining stocks go through price corrections and short-term profit taking before resuming gains.  And even these actively gaining stocks (like GNBT) do often take a fairly big fall.

Keep in mind that the template is a "guide" only.  There are many factors that affect stock prices.

U.S. SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION
Litigation Release No. 19642 / April 6, 2006
SEC v. Faisal Zafar and Sameer Thawani, 06 CV 06 1578 (GLEESON)(EDNY)
SEC Brings Emergency Action in Federal Court to Stop Fraudulent Manipulation of Microcap Stocks

On April 6, 2006, the Securities and Exchange Commission filed a civil injunctive action in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York charging Faisal Zafar and Sameer Thawani with perpetrating an ongoing securities fraud over the internet. The complaint alleges that since late 2004 and as recently as March 2006, Zafar and Thawani have engaged in a "pump and dump" scheme to manipulate the market for at least 24 thinly traded "microcap" or "smallcap" stocks. The defendants have made over $873,000 by purchasing the stocks, anonymously disseminating false information about the companies on popular internet message boards, and then selling the stocks at artificially inflated prices.

Acting on the Commission's application for emergency relief, the Court issued a temporary restraining order that, among other things, froze the defendants' assets and set a date for a hearing on the Commission's motion for entry of a preliminary injunction against further violations and other relief while the action is pending.

The Commission's complaint identifies the defendants as follows:

    * Faisal Zafar, age 32, resides in Yaphank, New York, and is listed on the website of a company called Secure-Minds, Inc. ("Secure-Minds") as its President and CEO.

    * Sameer Thawani, age 27, resides in Lake Grove, New York, and is listed on the Secure Minds website as its Vice President.

The complaint further alleges the following facts:

After buying shares at prevailing market prices, Zafar and Thawani used online aliases to post messages touting the stock and containing phony press release excerpts or other fake "news" about the issuer to deceive investors. The phony headlines concocted by the defendants include huge business contracts, mergers and strategic alliances between these little-known issuers and an array of major corporations -- such as Google, Kmart and Sun Microsystems -- and other dramatic developments designed to make the targeted stocks appear to be surefire investment opportunities. The defendants have also preyed on fears about terrorism and international health epidemics to deceive investors. After the London subway bombings and reports concerning a deadly "bird flu" virus, Zafar posted messages falsely stating that one issuer was receiving a contract from the Department of Homeland Security to improve security on New York City subways, and that another issuer was acquiring a company that produces "bird flu" vaccine.

Zafar and Thawani are engaged in a classic internet "pump and dump" manipulation scheme whose basic structure is as follows: (1) one or both of the defendants purchase shares of the issuer's stock in their online brokerage accounts; (2) the defendants register multiple online identities ("User IDs") with internet message board services; (3) the defendants post multiple messages attributed to their User IDs on internet message boards devoted either to the touted stock or to other, more widely followed stocks; (4) the messages contain materially false statements about the issuer and urge other investors to buy the stock; and (5) as soon as the stock price increases due to purchases spurred by the false statements, the defendants sell their shares at the inflated price for a quick profit. After their sales, the price of the stock quickly returns to its pre-manipulation level. These events sometimes all occur within the span of a single day.

The defendants have created at least 300 different User IDs and have used them to post well over one thousand messages fraudulently touting the stock of at least 24 small-cap issuers, some of them on multiple occasions. The defendants created these multiple online aliases in order to conceal their identities from investors and make it appear as if the same breaking "news" is coming from multiple independent sources. More recently, the defendants have also targeted specific investors by posing as moderators of internet user groups devoted to low-priced stocks and sending emails to the group members while simultaneously posting false messages on different internet message boards about the same stock under different user names. The emails have been sent out under user names such as "marketgeneral" and "danielbknight," among others. These emails purport to alert investors to imminent news about the stock and urge them to capitalize by buying the stock before the "news" is made public.

The complaint alleges that by engaging in this conduct, the defendants violated antifraud provisions of the federal securities laws. Specifically, the complaint alleges that Zafar and Thawani violated Section 17(a) of the Securities Act of 1933 ("Securities Act"), Section 10(b) of the Securities Act of 1934 ("Exchange Act") and Rule 10b-5. The complaint seeks a final judgment (i) enjoining the defendants from violations of these provisions of the federal securities laws; (ii) ordering them to disgorge all their ill-gotten gains; and (iii) and imposing civil money penalties. Pending a final determination of this action, the complaint also seeks a preliminary injunction against the foregoing violations and continuation of the emergency relief ordered today.

The Commission acknowledges the cooperation of the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in this matter.

Live Life,

I am getting completely out of GZFX.  The support looks to break at .012.  Without major news, I do not want to own it until after the filing.  Thought I would tell you as you have been with me all the way.

It was a trade on the CC deal, imo.

Yes, fill_the_gap.  I am out as well.

Well, we dust off and start looking for the next stocks to trade.  It's all part of the game of stock trading.   ;)
