hmmm,  profit taking noted--do not feel this is done yet...will be looking for dip tomorrow am, if it goes .30's--.31....will consider further accumulation.....thuoghts?

All right.
Here's what I see in GSHF.
GSHF hit the resistance at .41 and now it's retracing (today's energy sector selloff helped to speed it up).
nmbr1ballr: Fib. is abbr. for Fibonacci retracement levels (You can find out more here: http://daytrading.about.com/cs/charts/a/fibonacci.htm)

On the short-term daily chart (sorry for a messy chart) I pointed out a couple of things:
Short-term trend (black steep line) which was broken today, previous high breakout point (.251) and Fib. retracement lines. 61.8% is .31 which is also close to EMA(9) .318.
That should be the first support on this downhill ride and hopefully we'll see a support soon.
50% Fib. retracement shows at .27 and hopefully we'll not have to test it but given the volatility of the stock and the markets it's entirely possible. These stocks are great for MMs becuase they can scoop up a lot of cheap shares from weak and scared hands.

Note: I took the first white candle at the bottom of the chart as the begin of the run. If you consider the beggining of the run the first big volume candle right after that one, the Fib. levels change a bit and then we have 61.8% at .32 and 50% at .29. In that case I would say that the "pain threshold" is breaking .29 support (stop loss).

I got in pretty early (first at .175 and then two more times later so my average is around .25) which gives me a luxury of seeing a drop like today with less pain (I can just lose my profit but at least have my initial investment protected which I would recommend to everybody).

As I stated above, one of the strategies (a smart one) is to buy at support and sell at resistance (in this case sell at .40) and buy again on a retracement (which we are experiencing now). No strategy is perfect so isn't this one because you can miss profit if the stock runs (I pocketed a fantastic 100% profit on PTSC but missed another 500% :)
It's a pain to watch my profit unrealized but I'm very bullish on GSHF so I decided to take a chance and not miss another PTSC. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm willing to take a chance.

On a yearly chart you can see a perfect cup formed with possible Fib. retracement levels.
Here's the link that explains cup-and-handle plays:
http://www.stockcharts.com/education/ChartAnalysis/cupHandle.html

This chart also shows .29 to be a very important point as a 61.8% Fib. retracement so I'd say it shouldn't go below that - could be used as a stop loss point.

Chart shows a lot of volume and that means - a lot of interest. It's hard to predict where the bottom of a possible handle will land (or if it will be created at all) so we'll stick around and wait it out (at least some of us).

Finally, 2-year chart shows how important is to break out of that cup because when that happens we are on the way to $1 and that's my dream. I don't think it will happen in just a few days but that's the vision for the next couple of months.

Good luck to all of us that are holding (and will hold) and let's pray stock's God to be kind to us.

OnestockMind.  Applaud for your great work and analysis. I hope we move up tomorrow rather than down.

I think if this stock has to spike like PTSC, it wont take months but matter of couple of weeks to fly.

PTSC whole story happened from 0.17 - 2.25 in about 2 weeks.

Nice work Onestock! :)

I too am holding out...i thought about selling at .40...but, i don;t want to lose my position..got in at just under .20...and I also dont want to miss another PTSC....that made me sick, as so many other stocks i sold way too early.

I feel that this is just a normal pullback, its still holding up pretty well...it was a red day today, sector was down, and its wednesday...wednesdays are often down days it seems.

I also see that $1 in the future...this is the hot sector right now...so im holding out for more. I have a small position so I want the big gains and I'm willing to wait for it and not get shaken out....well, lets hope i dont get shaken out..lol :D

Who knows how this will go...dare we say $2 :)...would'nt that be special.

I am still holding too, although I came very close on selling out around .40 but with oil prices at record high the interest in alternative fuel sources has increased.   In a few more years we will look back and probably say how cheap it was at the level it is now and global demand - having China in the back of my mind which continues industrialising their economy - is part of what is pushing the price higher.

My reason to hold on to this stock. All other technicals are already being discussed above and I concur. Good luck.

Cheers

Terrapass is a GSHF portfolio company.  Yesterday there was a news article about Terrapass and Ford.

DETROIT, April 26 (Reuters) - Ford Motor Co. (F.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said it will give consumers concerned about harmful greenhouse emissions an opportunity to invest in clean energy projects via a new Web Site that will calculate suggested investments based on the amount of carbon dioxide produced while driving.

In a program called "Greener Miles," which is expected to be announced on Thursday, consumers can go to the Web Site to calculate the amount of carbon dioxide produced in one year of driving. The Web site will then suggest an investment linked to the cost of producing an amount of clean energy equivalent to the carbon dioxide produced.

Ford is partnering with TerraPass, a group that helps finance solar, wind and methane-driven energy projects, for the project, Niel Golightly, director of Ford's sustainable business strategies, told Reuters in an interview.

"We know that there is a growing number of customers out there that are starting to raise questions about this whole subject of climate change and energy security... and looking for things they can do to address it," Golightly said.

The consumer contributions -- ranging from $29.95 to $79.95 annually depending on the type of vehicle, amount of carbon dioxide emitted and miles traveled -- will be invested in U.S.-based projects such as wind power energy or making power from dairy farm manure.

An average car produces between 10,000 pounds and 12,000 pounds of carbon dioxide a year, Tom Arnold, TerraPass chief environmental officer, said.

The initial projects that would benefit from contributions from Ford buyers are a wind farm in Ainsworth, Nebraska, and Haubenschild Farms near Princeton, Minnesota, which converts manure into electricity, he said.

In exchange, consumers get a sticker for their windshield verifying the offset of carbon dioxide the vehicle emits.

Ford said it has no plans to run a broad-based advertising campaign for the initiative.

Instead, Ford dealers will be given brochures on the project and consumers will be directed to the Web site from several Ford product sites, Arnold said.

Arnold said it was hard to say how many consumers will participate in the project.

Ford Chairman and Chief Executive Bill Ford, great-grandson of the company founder and a lifelong environmentalist, has made efforts to portray the automaker as an environmentally aware "green" company.

But the company and Bill Ford have often been the target of environmental groups that decry the company's dismal fuel economy record.

Golightly said Ford is also working to improve the fuel-efficiency of its fleet, investing in alternative-fuel vehicles and working to reduce emissions from its factories.

The Greener Miles project "is a very incremental part of our overall climate change policy," Golightly said. "This is an opportunity for us to engage our consumers a bit more."

...impressive strength this am...looking for a buyable dip but to no avail.

garym

I don't know about that.  Volume not that great at this support level.

I think this drops soon unfortunately  :-\

nmbr1ballr

We're now at .315.  If it drops below .31 I might sell.  Many times when I see the fill price get filled its always by like 500 shares being bought and stupid crap.  I am hoping to see the support at .31.

nmbr1ballr

OMFG.  Now I am fvcking pissed.  I went out with my girlfriend somewhere come back and see I lost a sh!t load of $.  I am barely up with the close we had.  I can't set stop lossed on my account so I have to be here at all times to make sales.  Should I sell or hold or WTF just happen?  >:( >:( >:(

OneStockMind

GSHF unreal today. I never thought we will test these levels. I got out today at .27 which erased 50% of my profit. I had to get out to protect my initial investment but I'm pissed as well.
I can't see the news but I read that VRDM increased their shares from 250 mil. to 500.
That would do it!
Another proof that you can read charts as much as you want but you can't predict dillution and things like that.

I will watch closely VRDM and GSHF tomorrow since they might bounce back (today was panic selling). I still believe that GSHF is a very good stock since ethanol is hot these days but I will not risk any loss anymore because I just simply cannot afford it anymore (lost way too much last year).

GSHF almost at 20MA which is .241. I hope .25 breakout level will hold and if not then 20MA. If it breaks that then I can see it testing 50MA which is .177 now.

That are some bad news for you buddy, but if I were you I would stay in, even the volume isn't that good for this price. Wait up tomorrow and if it drops a few cent more then rebuy to lower the average price you have paid ;) . It's up to you though, but i would stay calm and wait. I normally use this strategy for blue chips and it's called the King strategy. It's up to you if you wanna try it. Good luck buddy

that VDRM  rumour about dilution is just a rumour from the trash GNBT Yahoo message board I think ???. If not, please post where else you heard it. I think GSHF is going to bounce back strongly today. Shame the 3sof stop got triggered. Luckiy I didn't listen to the advice ;) We'll be back over .3 before you know it. you can't have a 300% gain without a day of profit taking. I liked the 900k shares bought at .40 two days ago. :-*

hermanpu

whenever i use the "king strategy" everyone calls me the "king bagholder" lol. It takes a lot of time for the stocks to come back to break even, i prefer 5% stop limit and move on.
