Volume is over 2 billion now! I read on another board that when the volume hits 2 billion it show up as negative. Not sure how much, but we're definately over 2 billion. If it hits 4 billion we start  back at 0. This is pretty crazy!

kevind9531

The negative volume number is working its way toward 0. I believe we're at almost 3 bil traded today!

Commonwealth American Financial Group, Inc./James Monroe Capital Commonwealth has initiated a name change to James Monroe Capital Corporation anticipated change should take place within the next couple of weeks, The new company and its officers have chosen a business model of investing in undervalued real estate and businesses that can be acquired at deep discounts and rehabbed for a significant profit or kept in the company's portfolio generating cash flow and profits for the company and its shareholders.

Dr. Julio Jane, partner/developer, inspected the property, negotiated with the seller, and signed a letter of intent on a deal that will buy a $5.5mm (appraised) 31 acre beachfront property in Punta Uva, Costa Rica, for $1.5 mm. Bradford Funding will finance 98% of the initial loan disbursement of $3mm needed to close and begin construction.

James Monroe Capital will own approximately 43% of the corporation which already owns the land. The entire project is estimated to be valued at $20mm when completed 2 years from now. The closing is scheduled to happen in 90 days to allow time for due diligence.

Dr. Jane, who also has an MBA, will be overseeing the $10mm development project, along with Carr Pechtel, Sr., a Costa Rican land baron with an MBA from Harvard.

Yesterday, the company announced that that it intends to complete the acquisition of Taylor Moffitt, LLC, a real estate investment company. Because of price and ownership, the deal resembles what amounts to a reverse merger.

Taylor Moffitt, LLC, an Iowa company, presently holds title to 10 properties: six 2-bedroom and three 3-bedroom rentals, and joint ownership of a warehouse building. McGovern and Taylor Forrester Moffitt have yet to decide what will be done with the three vacant properties, and the warehouse. Who knows if this is for real???  I'm in for the ride.  Fully loaded at .0001, let her rip!  Good luck to all and do your own DD!!!!!!!!

One thing for sure, we need to see more jump on board. It'll probably take a move to the OTC to get things moving. They don't seem to mind filling us in about everything, so I predict that will happen soon. I know for a fact that there are a few larger holders of 100 million or more shares. I don't know how they can get the price moving high enough to move to the NASDAQ if people have tight grips. They couldn't possibly buy enough back and retire the shares without giving up too much control. I guess they could do a company name and symbol change and a stock "swap" instead of a R/S . Just a thought. GLTA

I am new to pink sheets and, curious about it, I just looked up the thread with the latest post in this forum.

If I got it right, with CWFG.PK the lowest acceptable bid and ask is $0.001, and the next step is $0.002, with nothing in between. The chart for the past month shows trading on some days at $0.001 only, on other days between $0.001 and $0.002. Does this mean that in recent days it was possible to buy the stock at $0.001, for example 50 million shares, and sell them at $0.002 within one or two days?

jmont

Maestro, I am assuming you meant .0001 and .0002 instead of .001 and .002. I hold quite a few shares and have been ablt to partially fill a sell at .0002 in the past couple of weeks. About 5.5 million sold. It has been slow going. Won't be a quick double just yet. Still a good long play as far as I am concerned. GLTY

Maestro

Tank you, Jmont. You're right, I got confused with all those zeros. I put in a limit order for some CWFG now, getting those zeros right this time.

Commonwealth American Financial Group/James Monroe Capital Closes Acquisition of Taylor Moffitt, LLC
Friday May 26, 8:30 am ET

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 26, 2006--Commonwealth American Financial Group, Inc.(Pink Sheets:CWFG - News) has successfully closed a deal to acquire Taylor Moffitt, LLC, a real estate investment company.

Taylor Moffitt, LLC, an Iowa company now owned by James Monroe Capital, holds title to 9 properties: six 2-bedroom and three 3-bedroom rentals. A 10th property, a warehouse, was not included in the deal. It was decided that the 3 vacant houses will not be rented, but 2 will be liquidated for capital that James Monroe Capital will leverage on a pending deal. One other vacant property, which is in poor condition, was, according to Moffitt, "unfairly" tax-assessed at nearly 14 times what the company paid for it. "Because we could never sell it for anywhere near that much, it is slated to be donated to a charity for an advantageous tax deduction." The properties are presently generating monthly income, but any properties that go vacant will be liquidated.

McGovern commented, "We have no intent of keeping these long-term. For now, the income is strong and they help the bottom line on our balance sheet, but they will be used as a stepping stone to greater things."

James Monroe Capital CEO, Chris McGovern and independent deal-maker Taylor Moffitt will both be interviewed by WallSt.net next week.

This press release does not constitute an offer of any securities for sale. This press release contains certain forward-looking statements within the meaning of Section 27A of the Securities Act of 1933 and Section 21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. James Monroe Capital Resort Development Announcement
Thursday June 1, 8:30 am ET

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 2006--James Monroe Capital Corporation (Pink Sheets:JMCP - News), has announced that its Resort Development could now be worth upwards of $30mm when complete. The increase comes because the development has been given the honor of being able to build an original Frank Lloyd Wright building.

Frank Lloyd Wright has been called America's greatest architect. When he died, there were some designs that had not been built. Architect Charles Montooth, of Montooth & Hamblin, was Wright's apprentice from 1945 until the time of his death. Montooth will be overseeing the project the same way he supervised the construction of some of Wright's other original designs. Montooth & Hamblin will be designing the rest of the Resort, which will be "not on the land, but of the land," in true Wright style. Architect Floyd Hamblin commented: "Its pretty inspiring. I am incredibly enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with such natural beauty, and create something that will reflect that natural beauty and grace the landscape." Elements of the Montooth & Hamblin design will include open-air showers, rooftop planters, exterior rooms without walls, and dramatic, serene shapes.

James Monroe Capital CEO Chris McGovern said, "Having an original Frank Lloyd Wright on our resort is a lot like getting an original Picasso painting. It's a piece of art, and our target market loves it. Its construction will attract international attention to our resort, Rainforest Beach(TM), and we will be able to charge premium rates because the rare nature of the architecture will bring tourists from all over the world. This sort of project doesn't happen very often."

James Monroe Capital Announces New Talent

By BusinessWire
Last Update: 6/5/2006 9:36:05 AM Data provided by

CHICAGO, Jun 05, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- James Monroe Capital Corporation (Pink Sheets:JMCP), has announced that new marketing talent, Dr. Vinton J. Lewis, has joined the team as an independent deal maker.

Several of Dr. Lewis' projects are well known. Dr. Lewis developed the concept of a kiosk for the City of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Lewis came up with McGruff the Crime Dog who says, "Take a bite out of crime." Perhaps one of the best feathers in his hat is this: the very concept of Fee-Based Financial Planning was his baby. It was the former VP, Dr. Lewis who popularized financial advisors for the old IDS (AKA American Express Financial Advisors). Today it has become an industry standard.

Dr. Lewis has scheduled James Monroe Capital meetings in Minneapolis this week. He commented, "This project is a once in a lifetime opportunity. With the calculated, opportunistic deals we have, and the financial leverage for added power, the potential for growth is phenomenal--very unique. I'm excited to be a part of the team. We're making progress already on a company which will be a new subsidiary of James Monroe Capital.

James Monroe Capital CEO Chris McGovern said, "We're very lucky to work with someone like Vint. He really pushes us to think bigger and bite off more, and he knows how to make things happen."

James Monroe Capital Announces New $5mm Project
Wednesday June 7, 9:54 am ET

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 7, 2006--James Monroe Capital Corporation (Pink Sheets:JMCP - News), has announced that they are working on a second resort development in Costa Rica.

James Monroe Capital will be working on a timeshare resort, on the already popular West coast of Costa Rica, in Guanacoste. Dr. Vinton J. Lewis, independent deal maker, has commented, "Timeshare allows us to sell the same condo 50 times, one week at a time. The profits that can be obtained are substantially higher than a typical development."

Dr. Lewis has brought timeshare expert Bob Johnson to the team, who will head up the development as president of the subsidiary. Johnson said, "We have been approached by multiple land owners who would like us to develop their land. This places us in such a good position, with so many choices. I'm sending one of my guys, Richard Smith, another timeshare expert, down there in mid-June to do some final due diligence on the property which is by far our favorite. We have that property tied up for now."

James Monroe Capital CEO Chris McGovern commented, "The two resorts will be different from each other, but the timeshare resort will be a quicker profit center. We can also use the two of them to help add stability to the company. We also hope, in the future, to have the resorts profit from each other, sharing ideas for long-term success and earnings."

Dr. Lewis wishes to clarify a previous press release. He was not the artist who designed "McGruff," but selected the design for his original pitch to the Lions Club, where he made it happen.
