It seems the conference will be on June 15th (not July 15th)
Am I right???
The CEO had annouced some days ago about a PR around June 20th

Which is it then?

jorgegr

Yes, June 15th (not July) sorry ;)

Another «difficult» session for CHID, following most of Chinese stocks for the day...
From a technical point of view, today's low ($0.588) was a first test of the ascending support line, CHID recovered a few ticks and closed above $0.60 again.

So was the CHID run-up just a pure pump & dump?  The move has totally evaporated now, with high volume.

dbryan98

I got out this morning so it should turn and run to $3 tomorrow (that's the way my investment luck has been running lately).

Interesting move for NMKT today.

No, I don't think so, CHID had a huge run, and a huge correction, but was not a «pump & dump», CHID suffered from really bad market conditions and general pessimism. But I still believe CHIDs potential is a real thing and the stock is very attractive from a fundamental point of view (although, technicals are not in good shape).

Update:
CHID made a new low on this move, closing below the ascending support level. This is not good from a technical point of view, but we are willing to give a little more room to this trade, since this could be the last exhaustion selling drop before the upside move we are expecting.

Hold CHID

Wow, no posts in 3SOF portfolio today, maybe a sign of capitulation?  I know today was rough on me...  I sold half my CHID today, then it went back up...

Looks like emerging markets everywhere got hit today, all the ETFs dropped and I have notiiced a correlation to CHID as well on days where they drop.

The Japan ETF has dropped over 20% since its peak last month, and that ETF holds stocks that are major Japanese corporations.  So it only makes sense that a Chinese penny stock is going to get punished even worse over that time as China is an emerging market.  It was all over CNBC today about how investors are scared and want to bring their money closer to home.

Seems like only news about the acquisitions or the president buying shares is going to stop this slide IMO.

CHID was down again to new short term lows... The All market went down heavily during the morning, and CHID was no exception. I'm looking to this move bellow the support line as signal of final capitulation and a bottom, but we need a confirmation soon...
If the market goes up from here, CHID should start the expected upside reaction, and if it doesn't then we may have to revise this position strategy.
(Please read my last comments on the market: A Key Reversal Day?)

News (already posted here, but now from a news source):
- Arch Investment Conference Thursday, June 15, 2006 in New York for Small and Micro-cap Companies

We are looking forward for this Conference, as CHID is trading at very attractive prices from a Fundamental point of view.

Trading Plan:
Hold CHID

Rams,
I noticed u tend to use the log scale alot.
I personally like to refer to both as they both give me different prespectives, similar to the weekly and daily charts... ;)
Well anyway... make a long story short.. I see CHID.ob bouncing off its long term support nicely Thursday and once again Friday....

Pls comment if u disagree...

Cheers

Hi beroznikmal,

Me too, I use both the log scale and the regular one ;) Both give us different indications and key values, as they are both valid for TA. I opted for the semi-log scale on CHID updates, just because of the significant price amplitude on the chart.
And that's right, CHID didn't break the support on the regular scale yet (I'm using it today on this update). Nevertheless, I think CHID may have already found a bottom for this sell off.

Trading Plan:
Hold CHID
