Im sure we will go up tomorrow cramer has been bashing hom ever since it started going up. I take his advice with a grain of salt. The CEO just put his money where his mouth was and bought 100k at 10.15 today. HOM is way over sold, the 50dma isnt broken and HOM just did a nice bounce from there yesterday. I think the downside is very minimal if any and the upside potential is huge.

What I don't like is that the CEO sold $22 million worth of stocks two weeks ago! The shares he bought today was just an answer to the stocklemon article. I think the $22 million is much more significant and I don't like it. Jmo of course. Good luck to all.
There's always a bull market somewhere and I promise to bla bla bla bla........

CEO actually sold about 7.5 mill worth in stock and now purchased 100k at 10.15 today. CEO now holds little over 1,685,000 shares over 100k before the CEO sold any shares. I think the ceo believes in his company. To purchase 100k shares at market for a million dollars shows he has confidence. I think HOM looks very bullish but others might think different one thing for sure is HOM has been a fight with the bulls and bears the last couple weeks. Tomorrow I believe will show the direction this stock will go in. Good luck on those on the long side and short side as well.

 "Stocklemon on HOM part II"

Today they address the recently announced contract with ARH:

...This company was established only 5 days before the Home Solutions' Press Release was issued. As of the writing of this report, American Renaissance Homes does not even have a working phone number.

But it gets MUCH BETTER.

After a series of phone calls, we were able to speak with Alan Nazarro, COO of ARH and this is what we found out.

1. Home Solutions of America owns 40% of ARH.

2. The company currently has 0 contracts.

It is the opinion of Stocklemon that this is what we have witnessed: The company needed an announcement about some deal in Louisiana. Therefore, a subsidiary is established without ever publicly disclosing that it is a subsidiary. Then a contract is awarded to Home Solutions from the subsidiary to install homes for which there are no current contracts to install...

A single uptick or a downtick on weekly MACD Histogram indicates a change of a trend
So watch out with this trend following system this is like your stick guide if you are blind (MACD Histogram happens to be my favorite now) ;)

Alister,

Sorry to be a pain in the you-know-what, butt that signal can get you into a lot of trouble, as evidenced by the whipsaws and the false signals in the FORD weekly histogram below.

Also, the weekly histogram in HOM had a downtick in early October, 2005 when the stock closed at 4.36.  That was a low, not a sell.  HOM rallied 60% into late November.

Just don't want to see you or others get into trouble using that single uptick or downtick on the histogram as a signal.  ;)

Nice call on the COGN short.  Applause.

I forgot to mention that i'm using this weekly MACD Histogram along with the MACD Lines, 5 or 9SMA, 50SMA, 200SMA, 200EMA, trendline, volume, price divergence & the force index.... uptick or a downtick on MACD Histogram is just my first step to decide whether it is time to enter now or to exit now ;)
sorry for the confusion..

Let me explain later my side Melf elf... ;)
I'll go for breakfast :D

bought 1k shares at 6.55 and flipped them for a quick profit at 7s

Lucas Scott

I got a half-fill covering my short at $4.80, a penny off the low of day >:D  It doesn't look like HOM really went that low on the intraday chart, but it traded down there for a few seconds. I was watching at just the right time and keyed in a quick order. Not quick enough to cover the whole batch though. I took the short position at $10.10 the day of the first StockLemon report.
GO IN THAT HOUSE OF PAIN THAT YOU SEEM TO WANT TO BE IN, BUT GET AWAY FROM ME.  I'M TRYING TO WORK, DAMMIT.

Alister,

That sounds good.  You're using some other things for confirmation.
