I mentioned this one on Elite G's thread last week just before it had taken off. THen it did a nice pullback. Just starting to turn again...could this be a candidate for a g-pattern..its in g-2 now. It did have the highest vol. ever last week, which is a prerequiste for a g-pattern. Now, we have to watch to see if it breaks its last high during the run with the big vol which was .35, if so...its a g-spot breakout.

i got in today at .21...wish me luck! ;D

Not too shabby! ;D

Looking good so far.

Will it hit the g-spot soon? Oh please Lord...let it run to the heavens :)

julia :)

gmarc66

Well..its smokin'!!

But, unfortunatley for me...as usual..some stupid problem occurs. My internet went down just before open, and when  i called my service they said my internet would be down all day. So, i then decided i had to sell asap (called in by phone) as i would not be able watch what was going on..and sold it at the ask of .32, shortly after open. Well...then of course, later in the morning, it hid a hod of .41 >:(

Why, do these things always happen to me? Why!

well..glta who got in..but this stock is looking pretty.

Oh and by the way, actually I  had just realized last night taht it had already hit one g-spot, this is the second g-spot today...woo hoo!

have fun all ;D

now .79. I feel sick :(

lordy, lordy, lordy.

glta

be back in a bit..just have to go slam my head on the table a little bit more.

kslifka

Bought last Friday at .26 and sold today at .79 ;D

Figured it would hit resistance zone above .80

hermanpu

ya technical difficulties are a pain, like when Ameritrade was down for hours while my pump and dump AMRE crashed. 20 free trades doesn't make up for 1000$ in loses haha. Whenever I see +50% I usually think to myself, thats way too much gain, wait for a pull back. 5 minutes later, it says +150%. ahh

Ouch!!!

Quotenow .79. I feel sick

lordy, lordy, lordy.

As Van Tharp always emphasize, exit is more important than entry.

I feel for you Julia.  With the kind of market we have lately, I think you did the right thing since you didn't have internet connections.  As the saying goes "safety first before pleasure".  Just remember to place a pillow on the table before banging your head.

gltu.

julia...i feel for your missed opportunity.

i was watching FHAL this morning....it broke 0.35 and ran to 0.41 very quickly...i thought it was gonna come back down and it did...but did not have have order filled even at above ask price of 0.37...so I thouhgt..."let me learn some discipline and stop chasing"...so i stopped and figured it was gonna pull back....but NO...goes all the way to 0.80....but again, even if i did buy in, i would have gotten slightly nervous and sold sooner than 0.80 for sure.

end of the day, i'm sure this thin is falling back to 0.50's atleast.

i've posted a few messages on the XKEM board on rahing bull asking those folks who were pumping their fists (and still holding) to get out and concentrate on saving their profits...as usual, some of them ignore and some of them cuss.

u'll see, this will most likely fall and close in the low to mid 0.50's

for now, I have a good position in CHDT. i expect it to make a run at $0.50 in the short term.

good luck and i hope ur head heals soon.  :)
Long term investments are short-term investments that have gone wrong.

hermanpu

CHDT is coming down now, and XKEM is on the rebound.

gmarc66

Kslifka!! Dang...U did good!! Nice job, congratulations ;D ( I hate myself.. :))

Hermanpu...uggghhhh..i know, i'm always dealing with some technical difficulty or another, or just ridiculiously slow executions, which usually cost me lots of losses or huge profit loss...what a struggle :)

Ouch..thanks for the sympathy...ya...if my internet is down...best to just sell it all in case things go bad, then the damage to  my forhead would only get worse ;)

Vic666..thanks too for the sympathy. Ya...hard to know sometimes when to keep chasign and when to stop chasing. I do know that when i stop chasing, thats when i should have contined to chase, casue the stock just keeps running and running and multiplying..disgusting. ANd when I do chase, I then finally get it, only to see it tank immediately afterwards...grrrrrr...hate that.

Yes, i still like CHDT, and will get back in...i made a mess of that stock trying to flip it..was hilarious..actually lost on it,even though i initially got in at .119...I know...arent i a great trader?...lol. I have so many bumps and marks on my forehead...i now look like the elephant man...but,the girl version :D

well...glta...hope tomorrow brings us something else to chew on...and pray that my internet doesnt go down again...was done some monday too...got to slap those it people!

julia :)

Thanks Julia,

I've learned from my many mistakes.

I have a most active screener I use from Ameritrade.  Very simply picks the stocks that have had the most trades over a given time frame.  Then I look on a longer term chart to see if it is breaking out with volume.

I've had pretty good success the past month trading some of these pennies....find the next resistance and get out.  FHAL was a prime example that once it went above .35 it was going to go up quickly since there was very little resistance until .80.

hermanpu

Hmm, I have Ameritrade also and I don't use anything except level 2, maybe thats why I'm such a bad trader. Its scary to buy into a stock that has risen 30% ya know, and its scarier to see it at 150% an hour later.

That seems very very helpful. What kind of screener is that? I also only use level II.
Thanks

Lalitha,

Ameritrade has a basic feature on their streamer that lists most actives or highest number of trades...I set the OTBC stocks to last 10 minutes.  It just gives me a heads up on stocks that are moving...either up or down.   Then I look at the longer term chart to see if volume is way up and breaking above resistance.

FHAL is amazing today (1.49 as I write)...I personally wouldn't touch it here but it's at an all time high :o
