Is this not old news since the acquisition is dated June 29, 2006...
>:(
I guess net income went down from 675K in 2005 to -$112K in 2006..
Cash flow in creased to $500K mainly due to a large account receivable ~ $1M

monday will be interesting...  :-\
Up and down it goes, where it ends nobody knows....Or do we.....;)

Maybe the accounts receiveable is part of what they were figuring into the accretive earnings numbers?  I havent looked in depth yet so I dont know.  Looks like the stock didnt get hit in after hours, so that much is somewhat encouraging.

Hi Beroz,

I have to say that I was very disappointed with these numbers but it is worth to note that this was known by CHID when they signed the agreement. The Galaxy financial statement does not give a lot of details about the drop in revenue and there might be reasons, which is legitimate, but I have to say that it is a bit fishy  ;)

The stock is holding up quite well this morning under heavy volume so there might be somebody with more knowledge on the deal than what can be read out of the SEC filing who is willing to buy at this level.

RIGNR 281 in another board gives a coherent explanation which I believe
is what we holders need to know - in absence of others from expected sources:

108K is a summary in 99.3 part of the 8K.
Sono is now under the guidance of CHID and there are enough receivables to
overcome that loss.
The earnings report for this past qtr has yet to be released.

NOW LETS SEE IF THE MARKET ACTS ACCORDINGLY ::).

Update:
The last time we heard bad news related to CHID, the stock dropped but it went up immediately after that because the news were already reflected in price. CHID went down today over increasing volume, but there is one positive point about this drop: CHID didn't break the 0.49 support, reacting there for the 3rd time this month, making this price level more important than ever (from a TA perspective we can't get much conclusions now, except the fact that 0.49 is a strong support).
As a security measure, we are now going to upgrade our stop near to $0.49 and consider this our maximum level of «pain» in case anything goes wrong from here.

Trading Plan:
Hold CHID with a stop @ $0.475

Zaidian CHID Zaidian.
At least I think that is how you say goodbye in Chinese.

It is a bummer to have lost money net on this one, I have to keep remembering what David used to say "never let a winning trade turn into a losing one".  Sounds simple, but how hard it has been for me to actually put that into practice!

On one hand, CHID has great "targets" and "guidance."

On the other hand, SEC filings show (a) no revenue growth in the past 5 quarters; and (b) an $8mm deal for a company (Sono) that had $87,000 in revenue in Q1.  Roy has explained that top line E'Jenie growth is stunted because of capacity issues and CHID does not want to spend the $ to expand.

The bottom line is that CHID may just be a no-growth penny stock after all.  At least that is what the market is telling us.  Q2 numbers will tell the story, either way.

i was reading some information David (Cesar Borja) wrote about CHID http://www.otcbbcoverage.com/stocks/index.php?topic=12.msg36 and http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=4246.msg41014#msg41014

could some one help me to understand how CHID's  fundamental background has changed? has this stock been manipulated? it has recovered some, but its stop @ $0.475 was printed.

thanks

The bottom line here was a huge strategic mistake (and I assume the responsibility): I'm mostly a technical trader, and I decided to get back into CHID at $0.65 mainly for technical motivations, that was the plan (my initial plan), but after a few days I started to input a lot of fundamental data on the equation, and that made me change the strategy for this trade... that ended to be a strange and erratic situation of «buy because of technicals, and hold because of fundamentals».
The right decision in this case should have been «Buy technicals, Sell Technicals»...

This one will take time to «digest»...

hi,
applause to ramsburg for letting this trade go.  being a tech trader myself i don't take fundamentals into consideration unless :
a.)  i bought to put in the bottom drawer for long term
or b) everybody is screaming about the stocks fabulous news which goes on for a few days with a parabolic rise in the price ( and of course , then a fall ).
traders drive the stock price not fundamentals or companies >
how much is a stock worth? depending on who you talk to it will always vary.
but a stock is only truly worth what someone will pay for it and that is the bottom line.
you could say gigm is worth $20 . it may reach it it may not . but now it's $8.75 and that is what it is worth. that is the beauty of the market. if it is worth 20 and held 20  then it would just get there a sit . at 20. what is the use of that.
chid is worth .50 because that is where it is. if the technicals turn around it will go up until the technicals turn around and it will go up.
look at aapl . terlisa's tech analysis said it is time to short . low and behold news comes out to support the technicals . etc etc.
thanks for letting me ramble.
