For the sake of argument assuming that Michael or EliteG decided not to continue or were unable to continue as Adminstrators, there are others here who are qualified to be Administrators also, and maybe that is what Ramsburg is working on behind the scenes.  I know a few posters I would like to see as administrators

I know you are all upset with our delayed reply, and I apologise for that.

Things had not been easy lately for all our team...
Apart from the internet world, we are all humans like everybody else and like so, humans tend to have problems from time to time (and also surpass those problems).

About Michael, he is not posting recently just because of some temporary work overload at his job, but he his in touch with me everyday for our daily market chat and stock follow ups. He will be back in business very soon as we are reorganizing our current work methodology (he will probably reply here tomorrow).

About G, you are not the only one that are missing eliteG right now.... Gil (his real name), had to face a hurting experience through the last few months.  We have tried to get in touch with eliteG for the last weeks but he does not answer email or phone calls. We hope that he is fine and soon will return to 3SOF to share his outstanding TA with all of us.

3SOF is an amazing community of great traders, and is here to stay, to grow and to be constantly improved. 2006 is being a difficult year in terms of performance and some other obstacles, that is true, but its also part of the game.

Ramsburg, I would request to get David back on the panel. I hope humans can solve the problems and it would be fair enough to ask that some effort should be done in this regard. At the moment 3oF is not the same site which it used to be. Kindlly patch up.

Many of the traders posting in 3SOF have intelligently given their opinions and
believe this action took off pressure from our concerns, because I suppose
we all want to keep the pieces together for mutual benefit.

I'm still worried because many posters have been increasingly silent or left us
and  we can't lose the mystic of everybody enthustiasticaly participating
with research and TA analysis enriching our knowledge and with time to achieve
a long distance worldwide friendship among us.

At this point was afraid we were heading towards a slow decadency we can't or
should'nt afford, when la-onda brought up this issue that was in our mind and
allowed us to express our wish to keep this site alive, due to the expertise shown
every day in the interesting threads.

I know management is subject to human problems, nevertheless the other aspect
is that we contribute with our subs to this business and have to be kept informed
about major changes in the board of directors/administrators, just like any common
company selling services and this weakness should not overwhelm the fantastic
technical analysis we receive not as frequently as at the beginning, but that is
now in second line.

I'm sure administrators  will find a path in this stage of consolidation, and all those
that posted here will give them our best thoughts and help towards success,
hoping we may have news from David or C. Borja, Elite G. and the rest of the
original team. I know EliteG does'nt answer emails but anyway let him feel he
has a lot of people and friends that wish him well and that in certain circumstances
in life, its better to stay in contact with work and those who appreciate him as a
technitian but also as a human being.

I really think this thread shows why 3SOF is different from most places on the Internet. 3SOF has always been about greater traders exchanging ideas, knowledge and always showing two sides of every trade.

As administrators we are obviously here to highlight great opportunities but maybe more importantly to facilitate the discussion. It is really each member's contribution that makes this place special and I think that is why we always see that when one of the members or administrators, that are recognized for their contribution to the forum, for different reasons disappear for awhile we actually care as a community.

With regards to my own absence the last couple of weeks this is solely due to an extraordinary workload. I have taken over the responsibility of a new function and this combined with the season of the year (summer and Christmas is around the corner!!!!) have meant that I have to work very late hours. In Africa nothing happens by itself!

Valueinvesting can be very time-consuming and as an administrator you are being examined every minute the market is opened so you better do your homework! I haven't had time for that lately that is why I have been a bit silent. When that is said I think Rams and the rest of the community are doing a great job in a difficult market.

Personally I am mostly in cash by now. I am bearish on the US economy and only bullish on the Chinese/Indian markets and a few commodities like gold and oil (hence the two recent picks for 3SOV). For the last month I have been wrong. The strength of the US market has taken me by surprise but I probably have a bit longer horizon than most 3SOF members. One month can be a lifetime for some and a blink of an eye for others. We all have different investment styles and that is what makes a great forum and a great market
