The thing is, the CHID chart is looking better than it has in a while.  Yesterday ended in an above average volume hammer with a close above Wed. close.  And check out the tight grouping of the moving averages straddling .55.  If price moves above these with some volume, it very likely will be off to the races for CHID again.  At the least, I wouldn't be surprised to see a 10-20% move from here.  The STOs aren't on the chart but they have bottomed and turned up.  CHID is on my watchlist for today. ;D

FYI

I had e-mailed Hawk Associates about the Galaxy View numbers.  Here is their response.

It is an anomaly caused by a change in the rules which impacted Galaxy Views' #s for the period ending March 31, 2006.

China Digital Communication Group stands firm with its guidance that the acquisition of Galaxy View International will be accretive.

Regards,
Ken AuYeung, Hawk Associates Inc.

The bottom line here was a huge strategic mistake (and I assume the responsibility): I'm mostly a technical trader, and I decided to get back into CHID at $0.65 mainly for technical motivations, that was the plan (my initial plan), but after a few days I started to input a lot of fundamental data on the equation, and that made me change the strategy for this trade... that ended to be a strange and erratic situation of «buy because of technicals, and hold because of fundamentals».
The right decision in this case should have been «Buy technicals, Sell Technicals»...

Frederick,

You are SUCH a great guy!  You have my total respect.  And, APPLAUSE.

I posted this afternoon on the Stock Picking Board, something not the same, but somewhat simiilar to your experience.  I didn't "stick with my knitting" at May earnings, shorting a DOUBLE H&S Top.  Given how CKCM has huge gaps, I was concerned that I might get blinded-sided by the promise of good fundamentals.

Like you and maxi (rickjust), I'm basically a technically trader.  I try to consider the fundamentals, but I always will defer to the technicals.  If good fundamentals seem to be a threat on a LOUSY chart, like CKCM, I often pass.  And, I did.

>:(

I've made mistakes in the market that you haven't even thought of yet!  ;D

This one will take time to «digest»...

Give it no more than about one more minute to digest, because you already understand what happened in the trade.  That's ALL the time that it deserves.  You're a human being running a stock market site.

You aren't gawd!   ;D  >:D

If anyone has that expectation, they're going to be very disappointed, not only with you, but with just about ANY site.  I've seen most of them come and go over the years.

Hang in there, buddy!  Your honest and sincere.  You work hard.  You recognize you mistakes, and you learn from them.  Keep learning (it's a lifelong process), and keep trying to move the ball forward.

I am not in the stock anymore, but the press release said they were "dissapointed" with certain aspects of the numbers.  Did this guy Roy lie to you?

Anyway seems to be making a nice recovery today, seems like maybe once all the possible bad news is reported hopefully nothing but upside is left.

China Digital Communication Group Says It Will Not Meet Previously Announced Guidance
Tuesday September 12, 3:34 pm ET

LOS ANGELES, CA and SHENZHEN, CHINA--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 12, 2006 -- China Digital Communication Group (OTC BB:CHID.OB - News) said today that it would fall short of its previously projected financial results.

It projected total revenues of $19.3 million and net income of $5.8 million, or $0.09 per fully diluted share, for fiscal year 2006 with the acquisition of Galaxy View International.

Ran Liang, CEO of China Digital Communication Group, said, "Based on our current internal financial models, it is clear that our financial results for fiscal year 2006 will fall short of our publicly announced guidance. We still expect our company to be profitable for the year, and because of the acquistion of Galaxy View, we expect to show an increase in revenue from our prior fiscal year. However, at this point we have insufficient information to provide more specific guidance.

"As previously reported, in the second quarter of 2006, Galaxy had revenue of $2,490,483 and net income of $1,275,885 and was a cash generator. Galaxy is growing at a rapid rate, and as we said previously, we believe our financial results in the coming quarters will benefit from its inclusion in our financial results," Liang said. "Galaxy's financials will be incorporated in our consolidated third quarter results."
