Are we out of ascending triangles can we only see descending ones at the moment.

Anyone got any picks in this area?

Here's a little ascending triangle that I'm keeping an eye on.
might be able to get a little pop if it breaks 2.60.

UARM shaping itself into an ascending triangle...!  ;)

Since UARM IPOed it has been in the process of forming an ascending triangle. While I probably wouldnt buy in just yet this is another one to definately keep a watch on!

AEZ and UARM are my two favorite ASC TRI plays....  ;)

Look at PRFT...

wrangler

Hi sebfr
Be careful on PRFT it's testing a muti-tear high and with bears in controll today with volume being double the daily average that's not a good sign of a breakout. If volume was lower than daily average I would consider profit takers taking some off the table but seems investors is loosing interest and it might be ready for a pull back. Will be interesting to see what happens, hope you the best of luck if you decide to enter.
Watch close for the day if it closes at low for the day it will probably go lower tomorrow but if it closes at the high it's possible it could go higher. I personally don't like to play at 52 Wk. high and this one is a muti-year high sooner or later it must go down. I see the test of support will be 14.50 on the daily and weekly chart if it can stand this support it might breakout out above it's new resistance and continue to make new highs.
Goodluck trading :)

Thank you wrangler for your comments... :)

100% success rate isn't possible...We have an ascending triangle but if we are wrong don't hesitate to be Bearish..Effectivelly, many traders love to trade against crowd and play against the 52week breakout..Yesterday a "spinning top" is appeared -> symbol of high indecision between bears and bulls...Today or tomorrow could be decisive days...We will see...

Wrangler i have found a chart which setups you must like (using MACD divergence and Macd SIGNAL crosses over zero line. I don't have find the thread. Too many topics ! :)). Have a look on CHCI

wrangler

Hi sebfr
CHCI : looking good but would like to see it break ascending triangle it has formed to confirm new trend it's forming. Watch the volume and opening price along with closing price for confirmation. Price along with volume when breakout happens will tell what's happening. I'll be watching this one ,,thanks for the pick

NT : which way will it go ,,,looks ready to begin it's upward move

i Applaud you WRANGLER...Great setups :) But don't forget to also plan a short selling strategy...

Why ?
1. NT is in a major downtrend
2. Price is near resistance.
3. Price has retraced 50% of the last downtrend...
4. Oscilators are overbought

Close at 2.31
stop loss at 2.40
target at 1.95
Reward/Risk ratio of 18.4 / 3.8 = 4.8...

If resistance is broken at 2.40, then target profit is about 2.7 - 2.8...

Good trade

Recieved this info. today in one of my e-mail alerts and thought it might be worth looking at. Chart is my drawing.

Domino's (DPZ) is the reigning champion of fresh, hot, customized pizza delivered right to your door. Domino's operates over 8,000 franchised and company-owned stores in all 50 U.S. states and in 50 countries. Revenues totalled $1.5 billion in 2005, up 4.5% from the previous year. Since going public in 2004, the stock has increased 100%, hitting its all-time high of $28.75 this past May. A recent pull back in Domino's stock price just below $26 presents a window of opportunity for investors seeking to make an investment in a quality business with quality earnings valuations to match.

Brand Strength:
Domino's is positively a mega brand as demonstrated with it marketing affiliations with Coca-Cola and its recent anointment as the official pizza of NASCAR. Domino's has spent approximately $1.3 billion to ensure that customers thinking of pizza think of Domino's pizza first. With the NASCAR season underway and the NFL football season rolling into its 4th week, hungry fans moving inside from the frigid air of the fall season are likely to dial their local Domino's or visit one of its local retail franchises.

Good setups...Difficult to say if we must to be long or short..We are near a strong resistance with a doji and spinning top are appeared recently...Volume is low in the last uptrend...

But good news and positive divergence between price and MFI...

Wait

sebfr

If the price is going up and the MACD is down doesn't that indicate negative divergence?

Cheers Aero

sebfr

Yes aero... :)It is a negative divergence...The problem is that you don't have this negative divergence with all indicators..I prefer to bet on short positions for this stock...Low risk
