Westlin Engages Auditor and Provides Company Update

Company management said it had ordered the audit as the first step towards its request to have the Company listed on the OTC Bulletin Board, and/or the OTCQX "PrimeQX." The latter exchange is Pink Sheets' recently unveiled new quotation, listing and disclosure service that "help(s) serious issuers stand out from the almost 5,000 OTC securities electronically traded on the Pink Sheets," according to www.otcqx.com. A flurry of talks among airlines may signal merger mania within the struggling industry, though analysts question whether consolidation is a sure -- or even a good -- thing.
UAL Corp.'s United Airlines and Continental Airlines Inc. are exploring a possible combination, a person close to the airlines said. The person asked not to be named due to the sensitive nature of the talks.

And AirTran Holdings Inc. on Wednesday made a $290 million stock and cash bid for Midwest Air Group Inc., valuing the smaller airline at $11.25 per share, a 24 percent premium to its closing stock price Tuesday on the American Stock Exchange. Shares of airline stocks surged Wednesday.

The AirTran offer was made on Oct. 20. Oak Creek, Wis.-based Midwest turned down the offer on Dec. 6. AirTran Chairman and Chief Executive Joe Leonard sent another letter on Wednesday stating that AirTran would continue to pursue the transaction.

(CNN) -- This month on Business Traveller Richard's on a quest for your rights - passenger rights.

Fighting for your rights
Following a string of high profile delays in the northern hemisphere over the last few months, passenger rights are very much back on the agenda. Thousands of passengers faced lengthy waits in Britain over Christmas and Valentine's Day in the U.S. was pretty much a write-off if you were planning to fly Jetblue.

Our program this month comes from Washington D.C., where the U.S. Congress will be debating a bill to give air passengers mandatory rights when they take a flight. Richard asks the co-author of the bill, Rep. Mike Thompson, how his plan will work, as some airlines including Jetblue try to stave off Government regulation with their own versions of a "Bill of Rights."

Our look at traveler's rights isn't just restricted to what goes on in the air though. We're looking at your rights on the ground this month too. Richard takes a cab ride with Matthew Daus, Commissioner of the New York Taxi and Limousine Commission and puts the tough questions to him about rights and responsibilities when you're in the back of a cab. In Europe Richard goes on the trail of your rights in hotels and when renting cars with the help of Britain's Consumer's Association.
