Why do you continue to post the same "pump message" on this site in regards to HAUP.   This is not the Yahoo board.  When you do this you only keep more people away from the stock.  You sound worse than a used car salesman, we get the message, HAUP is improving and its action will speak for itself.  You sound like someone who is dying to get out of the stock because you are underwater.  Enough is Enough!

Hauppauge TV Anywhere: Slingbox killer?

Hauppauge TV Anywhere: Slingbox killer?

Telly addicts rejoice:

Hauppauge (pronounced hop-pog, apparently) has just joined the ranks of Sling Media and Sony in making a TV 'place shifting' device. Like the Slingbox and LocationFree, the Hauppauge TV Anywhere package makes it possible to watch your own home television from just about anywhere in the world.

It's not as clever as the Slingbox or the slightly inferior LocationFree. It's basically just an ordinary Hauppauge WinTV-PVR USB2 external TV tuner with Orb software pre-installed. As you may already know, Orb lets you stream the signal from your TV card (any with an MPEG-2 decoder will do) to a second Web-enabled device.

Though it's not as elegant a solution, the TV Anywhere package does some things its rivals can't. The accompanying Orb software lets you view still images, watch stored video, listen to audio and access your bookmarks at home from anywhere.

HAUP and ORB Networks have issued several joint PRs in recent months. Here is an interesting commentary from a third party:

Live TV, music, video and pictures on your mobile device with Orb

In a remarkable software-based media anywhere solution, Orb Networks has provided over the last year or two the technology base to let you watch your home media content wherever you happen to be. And thanks to a shift in their business strategy, you can do this all for free. Music, video and pictures from your home can be available to you whether you are waiting at the airport, sitting in your car, or stuck late at the office.

While Orb has established the technology and infrastructure to enable successful media streaming, this is just the beginning. For example, as the company grows their customer base, they have plans for targeted advertising that would enhance your experience rather than dominate it, and additional partnerships, all funding this free service in the future without becoming intrusive.

Some of Orb's recent advances include the following:

* Orb is now bundled with Hauppauge's WinTV products in the U.S. as well as in the UK.

* Orb 2.0 is in beta and nearly ready for general release (before the end of the year). The new version will bring a smaller, optimized 10MB client and brings improvements in functionality, features and an interface upgrade.

* Nokia N80 Internet edition phones will be shipped with an Orb bookmark.

The potential seems virtually unlimited, and if Orb continues to catch on, there will be much more to come. So far, over 1.5 million hours of media have been streamed by Orb customers. If you want to jump into the future of enjoying your content anywhere, be sure to give Orb a try.

HAUP is on sale guys, I just picked up some at 6.60, I like the story behind it.
If it goes down some more to fill the recent gap I will add some more.

I just love tax selling season and after Christmas stock sell-offs. I added over 6000 shares at an average $6.61 today. I did not think it could get this low but HAUP has very skillfull MMs having watched this stock for many years.

I am loaded to the max now...

Next week will be very interesting with the start of the Consumer Electronic's EXPO where HAUP always makes a big splash with new products.

Buyhigh?

Yup.. picked up $5 grand today.  Hope for the best!!! ;)

There are  shorts trying to push HAUP's price down. Obviously they do not know much about this explosive stock.

HAUP will literally explode next week after it announces several hot new products at The Consumer Electronics Expo show in Las Vegas. I happens every year. They better cover before Friday.

HAUP is looking strong going into the long weekend...

Fireworks will start next weeks for this puppy....

Hm, maybe I'm wrong but I thought this is the 3SOF board and not the Yahoo board?!  ???
Així és la Catalunya, així és el Barça! Mès que un club!!!

rayongthai

maybe you are wrong...to much tequila over the weekend?..

Go back to your penny stock...and yes please give another negative rating...thank you

rayongthai,

No need to pump HAUP(at least not here at 3SOF), the chart speaks for itself.
By doing so you may be turning away others from buying in.
A simple constructive comment or chart update would do just fine.

Just my opinion, happy trading.

Please kill the caps.....
HAUP may be on fire.....and the firemen may be needed, But I think not, I don't think you would wish to put the fire out.
