David,

Kudos and applauds to you for the new approach! It sure saves you some time, while giving 3SOF a chance to stay abrest of current video on the web technology.

A written analysis however seems to have the "permanancy" that a video explanation lacks, in my opinion. Kinda like reading something from an actual book, as opposed to hearing it on the "book on CD" version...u know what I mean.

Nice accent and a short but useful analysis.  :)

Hi folks :)

Below is my first video analysis, so you need to excuse my poor English ;D

Then let me know what you think of "video on the web" coming to 3 Stocks. It sure increases the productivity.

Happy new year

Well done David!  Your English sounds great.  I think the new approach will be very well received.  I agree, however, that there is something to be said about being able to read it.  I think something like a short summary paragraph or some kind of generic form that rates the categories would be a nice addition to the video post.

Video analysis is extremely helpful, but you are going to get different responses due to the fact that we all have different learning styles.  I was a school teacher for 9 years, and I myself am VERY much so a visual learner, so it was the best thing you have done so far on the site for me.  There is not one best way to learn, so you will never produce 1 type of analysis format that works best for all, but its great that you are trying.   If it was simple to do compared to typing the whole thing, I asssume you would be able to do more analysis, thus increasing the opportunities for learning.

Great Job with the video! Applauds  ;)

Hi yukiii and basonista, please ask on the next "Give me 3 Stocks" (I think I'll change the name to "Analysis on Demand", it is more intuitive), which will be posted tomorrow at 7 pm ET. You see, I need to make a full analysis on the stock to have a valid opinion.

Now I'm busy developing new Excel graphs, because with this video thing I'll be able to study and display a lot more information without making a giant post  ;)

Here's an example:
