MWIS.OB

MWIS.OB 3 minute look:

http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=-5062009513515312685&hl=en

A lot of hype due to the deal with The Sun from England, but they already had a similar deal with the Times and only generated $499 K in revenues over the 3th quarter, so I don't think the news can support the current $34 M market cap for long.

Anyway, awesome trade for boatguy, good luck :)

Thanks for the ASIA short! You should have held longer ;)

What do you think of shorting HOKU? Chart looks similar to ASIA but bigger gap that needs to be closed and greater downside. Moving averages dont show support until $3.95. Thanks Dave

No way. HOKU is fundamentally strong. In fact I'm looking to buy it on a further dip to around $4 - $4.40. You can check my analysis on it on previous day's threads.

ASIA? Yes, I was right on that short, but it was a good move to buy to cover because I used the money to buy FUEL where I'm 13% ahead ;)

how about cvdt.ob?

Hi lancefur :)

We need to create an archive for all analysis posted, because I already covered CVDT.OB, and frankly, I really dislike that stock. Look here:

«3 minute look on CVDT.OB:

http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=-335896008177680714&hl=en

The chart looks nice, but this is one of the most overvalued stocks I've ever seen, with about $220 M market cap and no relevant revenues. This is a former mining company wanna be, now into VOIP, I don't like that.

I would buy EGHT instead, much lower market cap and also a VOIP play, and real revenues to show. I see just hype on CVDT.OB, and dilution will follow, I guess.»

David Randolph

Sold FUEL @ $1.66. I could have sold much better, as the stock went as high as $1.85 today, but I was a bit distracted and complacent. Anyway, 6.4% profit and free capital to buy another.

Can you comment on EVCC.BB

I think this is a good Stock on Fire

Thanks for the suggestion nygal321 :)

I covered EVCC.OB yesterday, look here:

«Hi supergeek, your mom is a wizard :)

The next time you or anybody else ask for an OTCBB stock, please mention the OB, it will be easier for me to find it on my Metastock database. Thanks.

EVCC.OB 3 minute look:

http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=-871625075379463208&hl=en

Stock looks full of air with $100 M plus market cap and no revenues. It doesn't matter how good the idea or concept is.»

Still running high but I think it can collapse any minute. Anyway, I just took a 3 minute look, perhaps there's value there that I don't see, good luck !

David Randolph

Look at the collapse EXCS.OB is having before yesterday's huge run up (intraday) based on a misleading press release. It pays to make a quick fundamental assessment of the stock, faster than other guys.

I see it going back down to where it came from, 2 cents or so, because when a company misleads investors this way it only means one thing: it needs money, so it will dilute shareholder's value all the way down to the base. It happens with most penny stocks, so timing is everything.

Argh, I acutally bought FUEL right when you sold it lol  ???
Looking to buy back OFI on the gap fill though if it happens .

I have been looking all morning and the closest thing I could find that was somewhat ntersting was NMXC.OB, but its liquidity isnt great and about to run into resistance.  Its volume is good relative to its average, but I dont see good news for why its up 50%...  I will keep looking...

NAWL.OB is another example as I've warned on yesterday's thread. It's not just about what a man can make, it's also about what he can save !

Fundamental analysis can also prevent a trader like me from making some great and fast profit on an insane penny stock on a super sexy press release (because I try to see just a bit beneath the press release). But it also reduces risk a lot.

Anyway, enough of talking, let's get this thing moving, I have 33% of free capital to put to work !

Thanks for your participation !

I like FUEL. Perhaps I was precipitated when I sold, but I really don't want to or like to let a profit turn into a loss on the 3 Stocks on Fire Portfolio. I didn't like to see it coming down from $1.85 to breaking $1.70, so I run for the exit door without much thinking.

There's a gap opened between $1.90 and $2, I think with some patience it might have a change to go fill that gap, good luck :)

Yes, I really like OFI, I hope it closes the cap so everyone can enter the stock without that short term fear of buying at a short term high.

NMXC.OB? Let me take a look, thanks :)

ANF short... Good for a quick 5-10%? Looks like a good short hold for upto a week.

ABAX about to run into resistance at the 200sma, but otherwise financials look OK and 3Q earnings nice.

Pay attention to TRMM, not dead yet, and able to make a huge run (of course, I own it, so consider that ;D)

David, can you look at VSGN   Stock got murdered last summer when FDA said some chimp in their trials they were running didn't look too good...very minor quibble, but it tanked the stock. Their science is great and a lot of leading medical types have been high on this company for several years. They are waiting for the FDA to let them up dosages in trials and stock should jump when that happens.  I'm holding a large position.

 :) Hello David!!

In the 3SOF portfolio, since you shorted ASIA, are the buy and sell prices inverted?  or the profit is wrong...
Keep it simple !!
