Vasogen to Conduct Quarterly Conference Call

(NASDAQ:VSGN; TSX:VAS), a leader in the research and commercial development of technologies targeting the chronic inflammation underlying cardiovascular and neurological disease, will release its quarterly results after the close of the North American financial markets on Thursday, October 12, 2006. A conference call and audio web cast will also be conducted on Thursday, October 12, 2006, at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, during which management will provide a Company update and discuss third quarter results.

Vasogen Raises US$20.3 Million Through Sale of Common Shares and Warrants

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Vasogen Inc. (NASDAQ:VSGN - News; TSX:VAS - News) today announced that it has entered into a definitive purchase agreement to raise US$20.3 million in gross proceeds through the sale of its common shares and warrants to institutional investors. Pursuant to the terms of the purchase agreement, the Company has agreed to sell a total of 43.2 million units at US$0.47 per unit, each unit consisting of one common share, 0.4 of a five-year warrant to purchase a common share at US$0.63 per share and 0.1 of a six-month warrant to purchase a common share at US$0.53 per share. One full warrant is required to purchase one share. If all of the 21.6 million warrants are exercised, the Company will receive an additional US$13.2 million in gross proceeds. The offering is expected to close on or about November 10, 2006, subject to customary closing conditions.

This thing has been running a bit into earnings (which are tomorrow). Positive news and this thing could really fly.

Anyone have thoughts on this going forward since this didn't have a down day on Tuesday?

I am bringing this topic back up after the recent NR's.  Results of Vasogen's Phase III ACCLAIM trial is acccepted for publication in The Lancet (a prestigious medical paper).
I have a feeling that this stock will surprise us in 2008.
