how about XNN?

You have a great eye to read charts Terliso, so I don't have to tell you XNN chart is bullish.

Fundamentally:

- Market cap is $50 M. The Company Designs, manufactures and markets high-end, high-intensity portable illumination products. Product line consists of lightweight, long-range, ultra-high intensity illumination products used in a applications by the military and law enforcement.
- Balance sheet shows no short term liquidity problems, but it is very "small", with Total Equity being $2.4 M, so the Price to Book Value is something like 21.
- The cause for the recent rally was the 3Q revenue jump and the $0.05 EPS number. Multiply this number by four and get $0.20 EPS for a full year, which makes the earnings multiple look like 14.5, which is somewhat cheap.

Recent news talk about private placements and auditors raising the "going concern" flag. My take is the market potential of this business isn't all that big and $50 M for $2.4 M in book value and about $10 M in annual sales seems somewhat rich.

The company/stock is interesting but I don't consider it cheap at current levels, I would say, fairly valued to a bit overvalued. Any miss on the EPS front (which can come from dilution) and it will tank.

Good luck :)

Hi David,

Any thoughts on JOB?  It has a tiny enterprise value of $7MM and appears to have a bullish setup.

Thanks,
poorman1

A note about ABMC - at the top of the Yahoo Finance quote:

ABMC has failed to meet NASDAQ Capital Market continued listing requirement(s).

I just flipped LMNX for a quick profit, I think it has hit resistance, but maybe not...

very very interesting today

VEGF

great news out

Thanks for the suggestion Mr China, lets check out VEGF.

Technically the stock is scary as hell, after that huge 68% gap down on April 10, 2006. Wait a minute, this is a biotech, you know I hate biotechnology stocks!

If you don't know, please take a look at the 3 SOF Portfolio FAQ. Thank you, good luck :)

(the only two biotechs that I like are ASPV and VPHM)

Let me check that one quickly.

Volume today is already 25 times the average daily volume of this stock which is only 28,600 shares.

Fundamentally:

- Market cap is $23 M. It develops, manufactures and markets immunoassay diagnostic test kits, primarily for the immediate, point of collection screening for drugs of abuse.
- No short term liquidity problems
- Some revenue growth, no profits but no large losses either.

Now the news moving the stock today:

• ABMC Signs Purchase Agreement
Business Wire (Thu 10:49am)

«This new partnership will have a huge impact on our sales and earnings in 2007 with estimated sales in excess of $3 million.»

flyingstocks, flyingstocks, you know you can't post misleading stuff here. You need to be more careful with that in the future, ok?

2006 revenues are expected to come in around $15 M, so $3 M is just 20% more revenues, not 100% more.

The stock is up 13%, it will probably be up something like 20% or so, but there's no motive to make it run much higher from current levels, at least that's my evaluation of the impact of the news.

Good luck :)
