PWEI's pullback seems linked to a hedge fund, Pirate Capital.  They had a lot of the stock, but took a big hit with some bad small caps.  Investors feared that Pirate would have to liquidate PWEI and that is why they bailed.  I think it is a good buy.  The stock has a high short interest and is very financially fit!  Nice gain today on 2x volume!

This stock is very weird... The fundamentals look excellent im suprised this is not trading higher. Is there something im missing here? The wierd thing is the extremely high amount of shares short, 7,904,677 shares short. The float is only 7.88M shares, and the total outstanding 11.97M shares. That would make the short % of float over 100% and a total of +66% of the total outstanding shares. The chart is just as weird showing millions of shares traded at an extremely tight range at 33.00 for the last month. Also notice the high amount of insider buying from Pirate Capital http://finance.yahoo.com/q/it?s=PWEI. I found this article about the proposed merger http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/070116/nytu208.html?.v=40. I wonder if this stock has the potential to run up with a short squeeze.
