10:30 DNDN Dendreon's Provenge BLA accepted for priority review, possible CBER panel lowers risk - JMP (4.34 -0.09)

JMP notes that yesterday, DNDN announced that the FDA has accepted the Provenge BLA filing and granted priority review. They've expected the FDA to find the BLA acceptable for priority review, and they believe the next point of debate will be whether a panel meeting will be conducted by the C.B.E.R or by the C.D.E.R. In their view, based on C.B.E.R's familiarity with the Provenge clinical package, a panel meeting with the Cellular, Tissue, and Gene Therapies Advisory Committee, could lower the regulatory risk of the filing. They anticipate a panel meeting will be announced by mid-Feb and scheduled for the end of Mar or early Apr. Firm also believes the street has more than fully priced in the risk of a potential approvable (versus full approval) decision from the FDA by the PDUFA date.

Oops, forgot to update.  SOLD DNDN at 4.39 on Thursday.  Blood on the markets and when it comes to DNDN, I'll take a profi when I can get it.  On the plus side it filled the gap on friday and put in a potential reversal candle.  I'll keep an eye on it for re-entry, 4.20 would be nice, but I would probably feel more confident paying up or a break of 4.50.  At least then it would feel like this breakout is for real.

ScottishTrader

It looks to me like DNDN just found support at 4.16-4.20 support level, putting in a nice candle, and looks primed to break out of that small falling wedge.  Target of the breakout would be (4.65 - 4.15 = .50, 4.25 +.50) = 4.75, which corresponds to major resistance from the november breakdown.  Watch for continuation today.

DNDN BIGGEST WEEK OF THE COMPANYS HISTORY COMING GOODLUCK TO ALL IN THIS, BEEN IN FOR COUPLE MONTHS NOW, I PRAY EVERYNIGHT THAT THE FDA APPOVES THIS THING FOR MY FINANCIAL WELL BEING AND ALSO FOR THE WELL BEING OF THE ILL PEOPLE OUT THERE, APPROVAL O7 DNDN ROCKET LAUNCHER!

Took a small speculative position in this one on the hopes Provenge gets approvable letter from FDA. If it does Dendreon should fly IMO. If not, well we all know what happens to biotechs who get FDA rejection.

nice chart, nice volume,
just daytraded DNDN with a quick 7% profit

if next fridays FDA decision is positive, DNDN will be in the mid 10s, if negative, we will be at 2$ IMHO.

we have to wait and to be patient...

cheers

OK guys watch DNDN tomorrow... sparks are going to fly big time!!! The advisory panel overwhelmingly voted for approval of Provenge, both on safety (unanimous) and efficacy (13-4).  This gives a very strong indication that the FDA will approve first time round next month.  With 25% of the float short, I think we will see some serious short covering and banic buying tomorrow and continuing next week.

Absolutely no idea where it will open or close for that matter, but I'll be watching closely, just wish I had the cohones to put more into this one beforehand.  However, it was really too risky a play, and I've seen so many of these companies gap down horrifically on bad news.

wow congrats to everyone in this, ive been in for about 3 months now, and this past week has beeen stressful at the very least with all these "experts" with their negative spins on this company, anyway i dont see why we dont open at 10 tomorrow good luck to us all, i dont plan on selling my shares anytime soon, there is a huge market here
