Looking for a performance boost ...

... using inefficiencies given by quarterly results.

As of now the Main Portfolio has 85.74% of capital invested and 14.26% of cash. This means I have room for two more stocks (it should be 3, but the cash portion of the portfolio declined because current holdings rose - not a bad thing :)). Instead of buying two more stocks with the current style, I would like to give a push up to performance by covering as many stocks as I can and taking advantage of dramatic fundamental changes when companies publish Q1 results.

I know that many of them have released Q1 results already, but there are still many outthere that will release earnings over the next couple of weeks, especially small cap foreign companies.

I would like to use this thread for you to bring me small cap stocks, so I apply my valuation model to them (without any video analysis, so it will be a rough estimate), so that when results are released I'll be able to quickly see if there was a dramatic change to long term value or not.

I don't want big caps, just companies with less than $500 M market cap. Also, no OTCBB stocks, just NYSE, Nasdaq and AMEX.

Please place your ticker symbols in this thread. It will be a fast way to know many more stocks for sure, because I don't want just good stocks, I want the best, so I need to know plenty of them.

Thank you!

David Randolph

What I want is two stocks with an expected share price CAGR of more than 100%. Currently only one stock in the Main Portfolio enjoys such valuation, CIMT. As an example, what I'm looking for is the next CIMT, but at the point signaled on the chart below:

pinoleropuro

SHRP
is this too short of an outlook?
last year I made 60% on this stock, I got in at 9.5 and 10.25, sold both positions at 15.98.
this year they had a little trouble but now they have a new CEO and CFO if I remember correctly and they are looking at a new product line.
my question is do you see this going to around $15/share before it does its ciclical down spiral again?
what do you think?

On my technical filter today I got:

1) IDSA

2) PAE

3) EVCI

Let me start applying my valuation model to your suggestions, but before that, I would like to know:

1) How many stocks under $500 M market cap exist on the NYSE, Nasdaq and AMEX?
2) What is the time span of each earnings season?

I would like to develop a working method for this, and not start running right away to cover stocks.

SSTR... looks like good revenue guidance.

Thanks for your suggestions, let me close this thread for now or I won't be able to keep up with suggestions in any way or form.

I'm still thinking of a method to accomplish what I want to do, which basically is to know many, many companies (preferably all of them) and keep up with their fundamental changes. This seems almost impossible, but computers should help achieving this goal, after all, it's only numbers.

Maybe I'm too thin for my ambition, I'll let you know.

Anyway, I'll apply my valuation model to the list we have so far on this thread to see if we have anything interesting here. Thank you :)
