I hate to burst your bubble but my guess is that ONT will go back down to the low $1's after earnings.

The lofty $250M valuation for a company with less than $10M in revenues is ridiculous.....it's all hype and unrealistic expectations. Did you know that your equity as a shareholder is only $1M?

I expect a massive selloff before and after earnings next week. Mark this post.

TARRYTOWN, N.Y., May 9, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- On2 Technologies, Inc., (ONT, Trade), a leader in video compression software and solutions, announced today that it will showcase its newly released Flix(R) Publisher Live video publishing SDK designed specifically for live video encoding and streaming of On2 VP6(TM) for Adobe(R) Flash(R) video at the upcoming Streaming Media East show, on May 15-16 in New York City.

On2 Flix Publisher Live is designed to give user generated sites, social networking sites and broadband video publishers the ability to deploy live video services easily, quickly, and affordably through integrating live publishing capabilities directly into their web pages. For users of the website, Publisher Live offers a simple one-click operation on a web page to create live streams directly from a user's desktop. The streams are encoded in the popular On2 VP6 for Flash format on the user's desktop and streamed to the service providers' Flash Media Servers for immediate broadcast over the Internet.

For service providers, Publisher Live streamlines the publishing workflow, eliminating transcoding infrastructure and upstream bandwidth costs, as well as any latency in publishing live content to their audiences. The straight-forward user interface simplifies the process of live video streaming, addressing the growing mass market for live user generated content, video podcasts, and time sensitive content such as news and sports.

Publisher Live follows on the heels of On2's popular Flix Publisher 2.0, which similarly allows file based encoding and publishing of On2 VP6 for Flash based content right on a user's desktop through a simple browser based drag and drop operation. Flix Publisher 2.0 has been deployed by large media companies and innovative service providers for on-demand applications. Publisher Live expands the service options to live broadcast applications, user interactivity, and user generated video commentary.

"For the first time, quality live broadcasts are made possible with a high degree of simplicity and cost efficiency for the user and service provider," said Bill Joll, president and CEO of On2 Technologies. "On2 VP6 for Flash is already the leading format for file based Internet video, and Publisher Live is a compelling application to bring the same quality and ease of use to live Flash video."

Flix Publisher Live started shipping in April, and is currently supported for Windows Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers. On2 demonstrate live broadcasts using Publisher Live from their booth (#113) at the Streaming Media East show. The broadcasts can be viewed on On2's website at www.on2.com/SME. Executives from On2 will be available at the show to meet with press and customers.

NEW YORK, May 14, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Kulabyte(TM), a leading provider of advanced audio and video processing technologies, today announced a breakthrough solution for high-definition (HD) video encoding that enables faster HD encoding with significantly higher quality levels. Kulabyte's TimeSlice(TM) technology, incorporated into the popular On2 VP6(TM) for Adobe(R) Flash(R) Player content, will enable the growing numbers of HD producers - including daily newscasters, satellite entertainment companies, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) programmers, and streaming video services - to more efficiently complete production of HD files for delivery over a variety of networks while maintaining near source quality levels.

The announcement marks a significant advancement in the efficiency of HD encoding for Flash Player video content, the most widely-installed Internet video. Kulabyte will demonstrate the solution during Streaming Media East, May 15-16 (Booth #323 at the Hilton New York conference center).

The announcement is the latest in a series of licensing deals that Kulabyte has made with On2 Technologies, Inc., (ONT, Trade), the leading provider of video compression software and solutions , including the licensing of On2 VP6 to Kulabyte for professional server-based encoding and a Kulabyte-enhanced personal and professional grade desktop encoding and publishing solutions that are marketed toward consumer and user-generated content producers. The Kulabyte Professional VP6 Encoder will begin shipping to customers in June.

"The HD production market is growing, as demand for higher-quality visual content is growing, and Kulabyte TimeSlice technology for Flash Player-ready encoding addresses the largest potential video market segment at a time when networks are bandwidth-constrained," said Gerry Kaufhold, principal analyst with In-Stat. "A cost-effective solution that enables faster HD encoding while maintaining native quality is well-timed, particularly as the U.S. digital television market prepares for a full-scale transition to all-digital broadcasts."

At last months' National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in Las Vegas, Kulabyte demonstrated professional Flash1080 progressive encoding on a single server that was performed at 42.2 frames per second (fps), which is significantly faster than real-time.

Kulabyte's patent-pending multi-core encoding technology achieves significantly faster encoding speeds and higher quality video than standard encoding allows. The advantages of faster encoding derived from Kulabyte's technology are particularly desirable for time-sensitive content such as news, sports and live broadcasting.

"While On2's TrueMotion(R) compression schemes, including On2 VP6 for Flash Player harness the quality of the original source material while achieving high compression rates, faster encoding times is always a desired goal - particularly as high definition video becomes more pervasive," said Bill Joll, president and CEO of On2. "With KulaByte's Timeslice technology, faster than real time HD encoding puts that discussion to bed. On2 and KulaByte together deliver wins along all three vectors that matter - quality, time and cost."

Kulabyte's TimeSlice technology delivers faster than real-time encoding, noticeably improved picture quality and significant bandwidth savings. Digital media creators can encode, and distribute digital content at speeds more than 12 times faster than standard industry platforms at comparable prices. The suite of Kulabyte-enabled consumer desktop VP6 products scheduled to be released in the 3rd quarter of this year.

"Our HD customers - whether broadcast news organizations, cable programmers, or satellite services - are desperately seeking solutions that address their constrained resources. We can provide the quality levels that they seek without compromising their operational efficiencies," said Chris Gottschalk, chief technology officer of Kulabyte. "Together with On2, we are breaking new ground in the delivery of a solution for the widest possible segment of HD producers."

On2 VP6 for Flash is becoming the dominant format for Internet video, licensed by Adobe (ADBE, Trade) for Adobe(R) Flash(R) Player 8 and 9. On2 provides the broadest range of encoding and publishing tools of any format within its Flix(R) branded products, increasingly aiding the adoption of VP6 based Flash Player video.

"In today's online video production environment, a rapid encoding process is critical for time-to-market, and Kulabyte addresses this need for a wide cross-section of our customer set," said Chris Hock, group product manager, Flash Media Server, for Dynamic Media at Adobe. "By accelerating the encoding process for creating FLV files, the Kulabyte Professional Encoding Suite enables a faster workflow for customers."

Break Out.......
This stock is red hot....Great product in HIGH demand.
Video compression software, adobe partner, social networking, youtube, myspace, etc.
The right stock at the right time.
Was a $40 stock within the last ten years. How high can it climb back?
In Dec 2006 you could have gotten in for $0.75 or even less.
This is really high demand technology. Flash is universal and the best for video and animation on the web, beats the heck out of any of the Microsoft technology. This company is well positioned to return to its former highs. JMHO of course.......

Again hoping $3.00 holds appears to be good support......we'll see......

I sold at $3.89-91 earlier today..........only to buy back in too early at $3.45.............errrrrr.

If $3 holds up, we might get a good bounce for a quik .15 cent day trade........

I sold about 1/4 of my shares at 3.96 and the remaining at 3.35 for about a 27% gain total.  I'm going to watch on the sides for a little while.  The high volume and closing down almost 10% tells me we may be in for some volatility for a couple days.  I'll watch for a nice continuation pattern.  I do believe ONT has a great story and will move up eventually.  I nearly sold 1/2 in the 3.90's but greed took control of me and only let me sell the 1/4 position.  I am better at controlling greed now from lessons in the past - but it still gets me every now and then!!   ;D  ;)  Anyone else know what I'm talking about?
