Cramer said Coke (KO - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr - Rating) is a buy too, ahead of this week's big second-quarter earnings report. Cramer said he sees the stock going to $55 by the weekend from a recent $54 and change, because the Atlanta beverage company is "the ultimate weak-dollar play."

Berkshire omitted information about its portfolio for the second straight quarter. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission sometimes allows companies to withhold data from the public to limit copycat investing while a firm is building or cutting a position.

Buffett added about 10 million shares in Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC), increasing its stake in the biggest U.S. home lender by almost 3 percent. Wells Fargo climbed 3.7 percent to $25.02 at 4:15 p.m. in New York Stock Exchange composite trading. It has dropped 19 percent this year.

Berkshire's holding in the San Francisco-based bank is valued at more than $8 billion, the second-largest in the portfolio behind Coca-Cola Co. (KO)

The stake in Goodlettsville, Tennessee-based Dollar General is valued at $48.2 million based on today's closing share price of $32.19. The retailer sells merchandise including food, cleaning products and pet supplies.

KO  The Coca-Cola System Donates $1.4 Million USD for Hunger...  by Business Wire  Aug 12 2011 11:34AM

NAIROBI, Kenya & ATLANTA, Aug 12, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Coca-Cola Foundation, Coca-Cola's Central East and West Africa Business unit, and Coca-Cola's Africa-based bottling partners and employees today committed to donate KSh 134 million (approximately $1.4 million USD) toward hunger relief efforts in the Horn of Africa. The grant will provide urgent humanitarian assistance through food, water, sanitation and health care services in Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia.

At a meeting with the Kenya Red Cross, Ethiopia Red Cross and Somali Red Crescent, Nathan Kalumbu, Coca-Cola's President for Central, East and West Africa, highlighted the need for deliberate and critical attention. "As a business with operations spanning across the Horn of Africa, we and our bottling partners strongly believe that the scale and magnitude of this crisis demands collaborative effort from all."

According to a July report by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN-OCHA), the Horn of Africa is experiencing the most severe food crisis in the world today. More than 12 million people in Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia and Djibouti are severely affected and in need of urgent life-saving assistance.

In Kenya, the Red Cross issued a national drought and emergency appeal at the beginning of the year to which Coca-Cola responded financially with a donation of KSh 3 million (approximately $32,000 USD). Since then, the Coca-Cola system has remained engaged in the greater Horn of Africa region with the aim of providing support to humanitarian agencies.

Kalumbu and leaders of the various Coca-Cola bottlers in Kenya called on governments, civil society and the private sector to remain constructively discontent in an effort to find long-term solutions to the perennial problem. "None of us can do it alone, it is my firm belief that we should move quickly and work together to develop sustainable, home-grown solutions to this crisis."

Kalumbu also commended the efforts of Kenya's public and private sector for their immense contribution to those suffering in various parts of the nation. "Our values and culture have always stressed a responsibility to engage with communities. We recognize that to have a sustainable business, the communities we serve must be sustainable, and we believe we have a role to play in making this happen," Kalumbu said.

More than $1 million of the grant is being donated by The Coca-Cola Foundation directly to The American Red Cross in support of Red Cross and Red Crescent partners operating in the Horn of Africa. The funds will be administered by the Kenya Red Cross, Ethiopia Red Cross and Somalia Red Crescent for immediate trucking of water to affected areas and providing impacted communities with basic food and critical medicine with a special focus on children. Significant portions of the funds will be administered in Kenya as the country grapples with twin problems of its own food challenges as well at the support it is giving to its neighbor, Somalia.

Simply Delicioso: Ingrid Hoffmann, Univision and Coca-Cola...  by Business Wire  Aug 12 2011 12:00AM

MIAMI, Aug 12, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- --Celebrity Chef Ingrid Hoffmann Stars in Coca-Cola's Yearlong Food Programs

Paella Valenciana! Enchiladas with Mole! Ropa Vieja! Tacos! Ceviche! Arepas! Simply delicioso! With 21 different types of cuisines and "mucho sabor," Hispanics definitely know something about the diversity of food. To honor these timeless recipes, Coca-Cola is teaming up with Univision and celebrity chef and host of TeleFutura's "Delicioso," Ingrid Hoffmann, to launch the contest "Celebremos Nuestro Sabor con Coca-Cola" (Celebrate Our Flavor with Coca-Cola).

Through September 26, people can participate in the contest by visiting Univision.com online or on their mobile devices, keyword: Coca-Cola. To enter, people need to upload a picture of their favorite dish along with a short essay explaining what inspired the dish and how they enjoy it with a Coca-Cola. Two grand prize winners will each receive $5,000 and have their favorite traditional dish prepared on Univision's morning program "Despierta America" (Wake-Up America).

Throughout the year, Coca-Cola has teamed up with Hoffmann to bring recipes to the dinner table with a series of in-store and consumer promotions. With this latest contest, Hoffmann and Coca-Cola want to inspire special moments and celebrate occasions that bring families closer together.

"I remember working in the kitchen with my mother when I was young. She and the chefs in her restaurant would always make Coca-Cola rice," said Hoffmann. "These traditions have carried on in my cooking. Whenever I open a Coke while cooking, it reminds me of being a little girl helping my mom in the kitchen."

Each submission in the "Celebremos Nuestro Sabor con Coca-Cola" contest will be evaluated by a panel of judges for its originality, creativity and purpose. Hoffmann will announce the two grand prize winners, share their stories and photos, and prepare the winning dishes live on "Despierta America" on September 19 and October 10. The winners will also receive a set of Hoffmann's TFal Simply Delicioso cookware.

"For more than 100 years, Coca-Cola has been the thread that unifies families at the dinner table," said Miguel Nigrinis, senior brand manager, Hispanic Marketing, Coca-Cola North America. "With this program, we celebrate those moments of pleasure and happiness that come when loved ones gather around the table."

Coca-Cola and Ingrid Hoffmann's Yearlong Partnership

In September 2010, Coca-Cola partnered with Hoffmann to create a retail program that shares simple, everyday recipes with a unique Latin twist. This year Hoffmann was featured in Coca-Cola retail programs and participated in a cooking demonstration with consumers. Coca-Cola also is integrated with "Delicioso," Hoffmann's lifestyle cooking show on the TeleFutura Network.

Currently, she is part of the Coke with Meals program where she offers and demonstrates some of her favorite recipes. Fans can view the recipes by visiting www.cookingwithcoke.com .

"The best thing to share with family is a great home-cooked meal and the delicious taste of an ice-cold Coke," said Hoffmann. "Just like I remember cooking with my mother when I was little, I want my recipes to be a source of inspiration and an opportunity to create special memories."
