• China Security & Surveillance Technology Announces New Contract Win
PR Newswire (Tue, Aug 21)

The company manufactures, distributes, installs and maintains
security and surveillance systems for the rapidly growing Chinese
market.  In fact, it's the industry leader in China. The business
is well-diversified, with 40% of revenues coming from governments,  40% coming from commercial businesses and 20% from non-profit  organizations.  Its products include everything needed for any set-up: video cameras, infrared cameras, standalone and networked
digital video recorders, digital decoders and even perimeter fences.

The company is growing at an astonishing rate; second quarter
revenues were up 550% to $54.1 million.  Earnings grew 160% to $0.26 per share.  The company's debt is minimal.

The main negative is that the stock trades on the Nasdaq bulletin
board, and that average daily volume, at 210,000 shares, is
light.

12:28  CSCT CSCT.OB: China Security & Surveillance -- a play on new surveillance law in China; possible NYSE listing (18.00 +0.48)

China Security & Surveillance Technology (CSCT.OB) is a little bulletin board stock we wanted to put on your radar. The co makes security and surveillance systems for customers in China. Its main products include digital video recorders and digital cameras. It's clearly a play on the Beijing Olympics next summer and the 2010 World's Fair in Shanghai as the govt is expected to spend $6-12 bln for security infrastructure. However, perhaps just as interesting, the Chinese government recently passed a law that now requires all entertainment locations to install surveillance systems which could be a big catalyst for CSCT. The co is profitable and reported Q1 revenue of $38.5 mln, up 164% yr/yr. Also, the co has guided Q2 revs to $42-45 mln, which would be up 9-17% sequentially. Also, in a recent Barron's interview, Peter Siris of Guerilla Capital says the co should earn $1.50 next year for a p/e of just 12x and Citadel has invested $110 mln in the company. Also, a recent Brean Murray note said the co is likely to beat prior Q2 guidance and the stock may soon list on the NYSE. (PROFX)

Does this qualify as a "3 magic lines" setup?

Anyone?
