EGYF is an independent oil and gas company building a diversified portfolio of valuable oil and gas assets in the United States.

The company focuses on identifying underperforming energy assets, which are revitalized through a meticulous process of evaluation, application of modern well technology, and stringent management controls. This process allows the company to increase its asset base and cash flow, while significantly reducing the risk of traditional exploration projects.

EGYF's business model also allows it to minimize the high overhead of traditional E&P companies, providing it with sufficient assets and capital to acquire new properties as they fit into the profile of the company's criteria.

Their vision is to be a high growth, highly efficient, cost-effective developer of energy based resources and infrastructure.

"Management believes that it can achieve the Company's objectives by utilizing a risk mitigated approach of investing in relatively low cost, low risk drilling opportunities in the US."

Also, EGYF has entered a joint venture with Mega West Energy, Inc. to develop the Trinity Sands heavy-oil project west of San Antonio, Texas. EGYF will retain a 23.33% working interest in the project after development. The project area presently comprises 34,000 acres, more or less. EGYF and its joint venture partner are acquiring additional lease blocks for the project on an ongoing basis.

Extensive analysis of the project area indicates a possible large deposit of heavy oil at a depth of 1,000 to 1,200 feet in the Trinity Sands.

The project area is situated upon the Edwards Plateau with elevations of 2,300 feet above sea level. This is a sparsely populated area of Southwest Texas, where ranching, hunting and gas production are the principal activities. Typically, a ranch owner will have thousands of acres in his spread.

The Trinity Oil Sands occur at a depth of approximately 1,000 feet, and can have a total thickness of more than 70 feet with 65% oil saturation, 30% porosity and thousands of millidarcies of permeability as indicated by previous core results. The Trinity Sands in the prospect area are more favorable for production by thermal Steam production than comparable projects in California where thousands of barrels of oil are produced by thermal steam recovery.

Energy Finders Inc, reports Evaluation of Shallow Oil Zones in North Lula Area, Edwards County, Texas
Wednesday March 18, 2009, 6:30 am EDT

DALLAS, TX, March 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - (OTC-EGYF.PK) The company announces after receiving preliminary report from Wilford Lee Stepp, Consulting Petroleum Geologist, based in Texas, USA recommends the following.

A proposed location for a Paluxy zone test is recommended with a depth of 750 feet, 2200 feet from West Line, 1320 feet from South Line, Sec. 87 HE & WT Block E, two and half miles north of Lula. Scales 1600 feet SE of MegaWest #1 Mitchell dry hole.

The recommendations include setting casing at 650 feet, drilling into the Paluxy zone expected at 720 feet, with about 12 feet of Oil zone.

Swabbing the well should test productivity. Another zone in the middle of Glen Rose at 850 feet depth which has 10 feet of high resistivity on the logs of older wells and the MegaWest # 1 Mitchell, which may be tested, depending on the testing of the Paluxy zone. The object of testing is to determine if a pilot steam flood system can be justified, leading to further developments.

To evaluate the Trinity Sands at 990 feet to 1100 feet, another drill hole near the above proposed location, should be drilled at 960 feet, cased and penetrating the separate Trinity Sands, swab tested, looking for Oil in those sands and a possible steam flood prospect.

Historic Information on Trinity Sands:

Since 1969, companies such as Shell, Getty, Murphy Oil, Dorchester and Carmel Energy have drilled and cored wells to quantify the heavy oil resource and have tested steam recovery in this project area. The well data encouraged further drilling and testing, but the then existing economic conditions did not support commercial development. There are also references to primary oil production from one of the wells.

In 1986 Meteor Developments Inc. undertook a technical study of the Rocksprings area and prepared a commercial development plan based on steam flood technology. Meteor's plan included the construction of an 80,000 barrels of oil per day oil treating facility. However, the development timing conflicted with the downturn in oil prices in the mid and late 1980's.

Two formations in this area are oil bearing - the Paluxy Lime (average depth of 500 ft.) and the Trinity Sands (average depth of 1,000 ft.).

The majority of the data for the Trinity Sand formation comes from wells drilled en route to the deeper gas formations. Electrolog and core analyses demonstrate oil in the Trinity Sand formation throughout the area, but no commercial production has been established to date. Aggregate sand sections vary from 40 to 140 feet in thickness.
