Thanks gmarc... I've read many of your postings, you certainly don't deserve to be smitten.  Hey, maybe we should subject all the SOF members to a psych test...bad idea...

Ok, somewhere in the depths of my feeble recollection is something about reaching a 50 post milestone.  Here's to post # 35.

I have learned, am still learning, and will probably be taught the moronic lesson many times in the future...

This is why trading never gets boring...you never finish your lessons !

Kent

thanks JKN :)...but i hope u mean smited...and not smitten...i don't mind being that ;D ;D

And i was not the kind of moron i wanted to be...im still holding GLIf..unfortunaltey at a loss now. >:(..i'm mad at myself for not being woman enough to be a moron....i hate when that happens!!!

Hey Supergeek...we have to get it right....we can sell..make profits..then rebuy on pullbacks..then sell...then make profits...then rebuy on pullbacks...then sell..then make profits..etc, etc...etc....image if we did that...we would be very, very moronic with a capital M! :)

Maybe we're just Masochists...that's the wrong M word :D

Applaud to those of you that took your profits...nice going! Its good to see peoples post that they sold and took profits...teaches me a good lesson..i need it to be repeated over and over again...so i can get it thru my thick skull ;D ;D ;D

But,...anyway..good luck to the rest of us GLIF holders....the green will hopefully come back some time soon.

update:

GLIF - I am hold a tiny % of my original GLIF position.  I will let it go if we close beneath the blue support line in the chart.  I will continue to follow GLIF once I am out.  It may offer some great opportunities until the end of the year.

--------------------------------

BIGN - Very bullsih action on BIGN.  I entered this play on the flag break and its has put in 2 days of support candles above the flag.  I think .025ish will make for a strong bottom and a close north of .035ish and she may fly.  The last trade was a 100 share lot and supposedly that means I need shares in MM talk.  So watch BIGN for early momo.

-----------------------------------

HQSM - I had to buy some today.  Its a nice triangle with diminishing volume as it consolidates.  We have seen first hand that this is bullish(GLIF).  I did not open up a big position as I am still waiting for the volume to tell me whats going on.  David is following it in his penny portfolio.

-----------------

..and then finally I have to address how this thread, EliteG Infinite Compound Project, is turning into a chat room.  Its great talking with everyone and hearing other traders but this thread was not designed with the purpose of being a chat room thread.  This thread is basically my trading journal.  Ideas, info, questions and picks... and occasionally my craziness.

I will be starting a new thread here <EliteG Infinite Compound Project II> shortly as this thread is kinda difficult to go through for back info.

Thanks everybody for the support  :)

**I will be locking EliteG Infinite Compound Project up from replies until tomorrow morning so that everyone can see this message.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  Thanks for understanding.

Hey Elite ... what do you think of NYFX? Big runup overnight ... closed @ 3.42 ... bid this morning is 6.

G, have you thought about having 2 seperate threads?  Have an EliteG Infinite Compound Project and an EliteG Chat Room.  Then you have a place to keep track of your stuff and give us your profound wisdom and another area where the rest of us can discuss your EICP stuff.

Just a thought....

Well I guess we sorta got that going now with the momo room started by run  ;) Thx for the support basonista.. i dont know if its profound wisdom I just thought it might be useful to have it a bit focused  8)

Thanks for looking at NYFX, Elite. The $6 shows up as bid in my Ameritrade extended quote. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what it really means. The free lvl 2 I have access to only show yesterday's action. Got to invest in some better tools.  :-\ Anyway, I'm a big fan. Learning lots. Hope I can begin contributing some ideas worth $$$ soon.

I thought about that also...might be a good idea....to have one thread for your posts only on stocks/charts your in or see potential in, and another thread for discussion. It would streamline your stuff and make it easier to read quickly. I think it's a good idea to ponder. Discussion could get difficult to follow in the momo news thread.  ;D

I like the idea of two seperate threads, Maybe you should keep this one as the open thread, since it already kind of is and start a new one that is locked with your own trade journals.

HQSM is breaking out. nice volume early on. We could see new highs today.

DannyOhad

Elite,

Not as many others, I did not sell GLIF at the .06 highs.
Do you think there is a chance for another takeoff today?

Thanks,
Ohad

basonista

Time to start the chant...

GO GLIF GO!  GO GLIF GO!!!!

Hmmm, not working so far.  At least it's holding support...

I'll probably start 2 new threads and close this one up, it was a great experiment, lol.

HQSM is looking nice.. lets see if the volume really starts to come in as people dont want it to get away from them  ;)

It would show a lot of strength if it does come flying back today but it may take a few days to walk off the shock.  It is showing a possible bottom on my intraday screens.  But remember you have to decide where your cutoff point is too just in case  8)

like bas says go glif go  ;)

Corillian Reports Third Quarter 2005 Results
Thursday November 3, 4:07 pm ET
New Deals, Strong Sales Pipeline and New Products Position Company for Growth

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 3, 2005--Corillian Corp. (NASDAQ: CORI - News), the top provider of online banking, bill payment and anti-fraud solutions to leading financial institutions, today reported financial results for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2005.

Revenues for the third quarter were $11.9 million, compared to $12.3 million for the second quarter of 2005. Net loss for the quarter was approximately $60,000, resulting in a net loss of ($0.00) per diluted share, compared to net income of $2.1 million and diluted earnings per diluted share of $0.05 in the second quarter of 2005. Net income before amortization of acquisition related intangible assets for the third quarter was $161,000, resulting in net income of $0.00 in diluted earnings per share, compared to Corillian's guidance of diluted earnings per share of $0.02 to $0.05 in the third quarter of 2005. A reconciliation of GAAP results to pro forma results is provided as part of this press release.

Cash and investment balances at the end of the third quarter were $27.3 million, compared to $39.4 million at December 31, 2004. This reduction is attributable to cash used to acquire InteliData Technologies Corporation and qbt Systems, Inc.

"Despite disappointing revenue and income results, we are pleased with the success we've seen in closing three new customer deals in the quarter, including a top 50 U.S. bank. The third quarter yielded more new deals than we have closed in any quarter since 2002," said Alex Hart, president and CEO of Corillian. "Our core revenue backlog grew by $800,000 in the third quarter, the first sequential increase in backlog since Dec. 2004. In addition, during the first few weeks of the fourth quarter, we added Bank Leumi, the second largest bank in Israel, and we are currently working on more than a dozen active deals, several of which are expected to close by year end."
