Fill The Gap,

My 2 cents

This one may have potential. I actually work for Red Bull and we have experienced tremendous growth and the energy drink category is blowing up. The remarks concerning the need of the beer distributors is true that many lost Rockstar when it transferred over to Coke.

The problem with this one is it's distribution! It sucks plain and simple.

It was around for a bit in my market ( I cover All of SW FL) but is now not even available.

Great arena but Dickens Cider is rarely available. With it's name it is not a viable option in the off premise channel (convenient stores, grocery, etc...) as the customers will not support a product with that type of name for the general public.

The only opportunity it has is in the on premise area(bars, restaurants, etc.) and Red Bull dominates there and and is likely to continue.

Good luck and I like your posts.. Keep it up

DC Brands International's New 16 oz. Cans Finally Hit the Shelves
Tuesday August 2, 4:05 pm ET

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 2, 2005--DC Brands International (OTC: DCBI - News) distributes its Dickens Energy Cider through an ever-growing network of distributors nationwide. At the close of business today, the company's president and CEO, Dick Pearce, announced that after several unforeseeable delays in transitioning the product from overseas production to domestic, the new bigger and better 16 oz. original formula cans are hitting the shelves this week and next; the Low Carb Sugar-free will hit next month.
"It hurt us for a little while, no doubt about that," says Mr. Pearce. "It is fair to say we underestimated the transition process and what it would take to keep the product's look and taste perfect while changing the companies, in fact, the continents we produce it in. We sold completely out of the old 8.4 oz. cans way back in April, and that is reflected in the current stock price. However, we believe the cure for that is now being delivered by the truckload. The demand for this new product is fantastic. We are shipping out some 20,000 cases just this week. We have trucks full of product going out to over eighteen locations consisting of our current distributors as well as some new ones we are very excited about."

Mr. Pearce continues: "We are now contracting with several well-established rep firms to expedite the process of getting into several potentially high-volume retailers such as Costco, Sam's Club, Target and all of the national and regional convenience store chains. As we said in our last press release, we are really pumped about the National Beer Wholesalers Association show we are doing in Vegas this September."

Keep this one on your radar.  I've been adding to my position at these levels and I don't think it will be here long.  Product production problems have been solved and distribution is opening up bigtime.
Price dropped to reflect those problems but product has been selling in a couple days where available and retailers are moving other stock to back shelves to make more room to display Dickens.

Good post.  Thanks.

I like the recent volume, I like that the uptrend continued, I like that it crossed the 50 dma, I like the RSI at levels it hasn't seen in months.  I don't like that the ask went from .155 to .17 after the last order. :(

Looks like a good one!  $0.14 seems to be the barrier.

Have to leave for the rest of today.  Assuming it will hold .14 so I'm in.

A nice finish to a good week.

Here's some "fire" for next week:

DC Brands International New Distributors Sets One Week Sales Record
Friday August 19, 5:46 pm ET

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 19, 2005--DC Brands International (OTC: DCBI - News) distributes its Dickens Energy Cider through an ever-growing network of distributors nationwide. At the close of business today, the company's president and CEO, Dick Pearce, announced that sales across the country continue to do extremely well. Mr. Pearce said: "In particular, California continues to really heat up quickly. Last week, we announced that we hoped to sign up Valley Wide Beverage Company, a large Coors distributor out of Fresno. We did in fact bring them on board this week, and they have just started hitting the street. Even though this is what they would call a soft launch with the real kickoff and staff training still some three weeks away, in their first four days they have sold over 930 cases and landed some great accounts in their area like 7-11, Albertsons Grocery, Beacons convenience and several others."

Hector Vasquez is DC Brands' Sales Manager in Central and Northern California and states that with just over 3,100 accounts being serviced by Valley Wide, he would estimate they have visited no more than 10% of their accounts so far in the first four days. However, Valley Wide is experiencing an unheard of 100% placement record with those they have called on. Mr. Vasquez says: "Not one place has turned us down! I have never seen a product be accepted the way we are experiencing with the new 16 oz. Dickens Energy Cider, and I have been selling energy drinks in California for a long time now."

Absolutely HOT!

Look at the size of that candlestick.  More like a torch!

Volume is BIG.  1.4M shares already.  I thought .20 would be a challenge but now it looks like April highs of .30 are next.  After that hurdle, there's not much left.

daldrich

Good for a short term ride but I"m holding long term on this one.  Dropped from about .80 when they moved the operation from Europe to Wisconsin but I see it hitting that easily before the end of the year.
