well did a search and did not come up on this board yet.  another of the security stocks, started today at 0.46 ended the day at 0.87.  after hours news moved it in ah to 1.64.  so this morning it was a penny stock but it seems it no longer is.  see legs in this?

unfortunately, i think too much.  so i thought it is already up like 60%, can it go more?  i thought and thought. in retrospect, should have checked out yahoo boards where some posters thought stock might go over $1(saw this after hours).  after hours news and even pops more.  makes you mad, but i guess there are opportunities like these every day.  just have to act on 'em and get over your fears.  this would have been one worth chasing i guess.  we can second guess ourselves but just get over it.  guess if i see opportunity better share it here to get others opinions.  happy trading.

Here's what the new was, that got this one going:

MDI shares rise 60% in heavy after-hours trading (MDII) By Scott Banerjee
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Shares of electronic security products company MDI Inc. (MDII) jumped more than 60% to $1.40 Monday evening after the company said that its subsidiary, MDI Security Systems, has entered into a product and sales promotion agreement with PSA Security Network. PSA will offer MDI products to its membership base of 285 electronic security dealers and integrators. Shares of San Antonio, Tex.-based MDI rose more than 97% to during Monday's regular session.

Well, it made the run on the news, going to over $1.75, and now has pulled back to $1.00.  Perhaps some more PR will get this moving again.

A huge pick Catrader applaud. Last time this ran with volume Apr/May '04 it went from $1.50 to $5 in 6 sessions. Every momo trader will be watching this one on Tuesday.

Just putting up the chart, MDII showed up on my filters today, but since it was up so much on AH I'll pass this gap up ... as catrader said, opportunities like this show up, well, not every day, but certainly every week.
