I don't know if anyone is paying attention to this one, but at these prices it is hard to imagine a downside based on the fundamentals of the company.

I am buying more today.

With earnings coming up next week. This one will pop as soon as the earnings date is announced. Radar it.

This one moves real fast because those corcked MMs know that there is a lot of interest in the stock under $1.6 or so.

terabemo

Wow!!

This one is  a real rocket. It just zoomed 10c in a nano second.

Volume Spikes: TELK CTIB ZICA PFSW

Telik Trades More Than Usual After Missing Goals of Late-Stage Trial

NEW YORK (AP) -- The following companies showed unusually heavy volume in Tuesday afternoon trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market. Higher-than-normal volume can indicate increased activity by institutions such as mutual funds and insurance companies. Upward stock movement on such volume can show higher investor confidence, while selling can signal pressure on a stock.

Trading volume of Telik Inc. increased more than 36 times its usual level, to 24.6 million, after the drug maker said its lead drug candidate did not meet goals of a late-stage trial.

The company's Telcyta cancer drug candidate did not demonstrate statistically significant improvement in overall survival in two late-stage trials of cancer patients, Telik said.

Shares fell $11.41, or 70.2 percent, to $4.84, after earlier trading at a new 52-week low of $4.69.

CTI Industries Corp., which makes decorative balloons, traded 1.2 million shares, compared with usual daily volume of 55,300 shares, on no immediately available news.

Shares added $1.33, or 33.7 percent, to $5.29.

ZI Corp., which makes text-prediction software for wireless handsets, traded more than usual for the second trading day following the launch of its Qix service for certain T-Mobile and Nokia phones.

Investors bought and sold 4.3 million shares by midday, far higher than the average volume of 125,400 shares. The stock rose 97 cents, or 55 percent, to $2.75, and earlier hit a new annual high of $2.83.

PFSweb Inc., a supplier for International Business Machines Corp., traded nine times more than usual, with 1.8 million shares changing hands. About 27 percent of those trades occurred in large blocks, which indicates institutional trading. There was no other immediately available news to explain the accelerated trading.

Shares added 9 cents, or 9.2 percent, to $1.07.

hmm.. this one looks interesting.

When looking at getting in this, are you looking at entering in at the 200EMA or what one would be best when looking at a chart like this? At least on the technical side?
Live hard, love harder and be happy.
Have a Super-Fantastic Day!

kslifka

I like the 9ema.  PFSW has been holding above that.  If PFSW retreats to the 20ma it is less hot. :D

For me the chart should show me a healthy rise in volume. If you notice the 50 and 200 day MA are also racing towards each other. I would definately looking at that golden cross. (-;

lancefur

I think I am not sure how to take either one of these charts. In one I am looking at relates to the share price crossing the 20 MA and the other looking at the 50MA crossing the 200MA. The golden cross hasn't happened but the other one has. Based on that, what can one infer?
