hi aussie trader,
or anyone else that might answer this question that is on my mind.
when the stock is up in the pre market and trading. i notice it is either buying or selling .
on my scottrade ticker it is all sells for nvax nearly 400k shares as  i write . does this mean it is more likely to fill the gap as opposed to when you see all green buying?
love anyones opinion on this.
thanks
maxi ???

Someone has to buy the share that was sold, the question is will demand outstrip supply or vice versa, that will determine whether the stock will go up or down.

hi aussie trader ,
well yes, that is always the case someone is selling , someone is buying.
but the question is on a gap up in the morning when you see more selling than buying: ie: sometimes my ticker shows all red as in nvax this morning -a lot of selling- or as is the case with other stocks i have seen gap up my ticker shows green - a lot of buying- how does this correlate with a gap filling or a gap moving forward and not filling?
thanks again,
maxi ???

OK I understand where you are coming from now.

Don't know is my answer ;) I tend not to watch L2, just the charts, but I see what you mean bigger numbers on the ASK. Usually a raft of sellers depresses the price.
As it appears there is no news (other than other Avian plays being active this AM, also bio seems active too) We will have to wait for market open to see the real market sentiment.

thanks aussie trader,
maybe someone knows some info on this . i noticed a few days agao when fuel gaped up huge it was all buying ( all green on my ticker) and that came down to close the gap.
so , i suppose as david said  if the stock market was as easy as that everyone would be winning.
thanks ,
happy trading

looks like gap might be filled,

I picked up some NVAX and HEB this morning.  With all of the coverage the avian flu is getting in the media, I really believe that the run is just beginning for these two companies.

Good morning !

I've had an internet connection problem all morning and had to come to Ramsburg's house to make the updates and recommendations, so I don't have much time to write this one. I'll do a better job on my first update after the close.

The reasoning is pretty much similar to the one you can read on HEB's thread.

I'm buying NVAX at today's open for the 3 Stocks on Fire Portfolio.
