Could this be another AVII? AVII also a bird flu play tanked after earnings. The fact is that momentum plays usually behave that way after a major run up and disappointing earnings. In this case it might be worse  because istead of earnings the company reports losses cosistently.

REALDEALS21

Who will hold NVAX through earnings ???? ???

nocky

I have a GTC buy in much lower than current range... I think the recent dilution capped this run and it will take some real news not hype to move higher

HEB is looking stronger IMO

JMO

I also wouldnt be surprised if they continue to use the current price range to raise more cash

I'm holding NVAX thru earnings - they make the majority of their $ from their fda approved estrogen cream.  I think the report and the future of the company with the potential bird flu revenue looks bright.

On the other hand, I just have a fraction of what I purchased at $3.50ish - I made my money on this - I am just hoping for an added cherry.

Good evening!

Repost from SANM board:

As I stated, I believe SANM is a short-term swing trade for me.  I sold on gains this morning (I bought in at $4.25 Friday (10,000 shares) and sold at $4.52-$4.55) and bought TMTA (26,000 shares!).

I am working on the Knowledge Center "swing trade" thread draft.  I'll post link here later this week.

Good trading!

i got back into nvax at the open today thinking the rebound would happen today before the earnings  and i though i may have misjudged  when it looked like it would drop below 3.80 but on lower volume, seemed to find strength to get back near the $3.90 - $4 levels.

I hope this is now the start of a reversal since general avian news doesn't seem to greatly impact nvax in the last little while.

LiveLife, are you still sitting on the side lines?

stopthemadness,

I do believe that Novavax has strength as a company in the long run and it should rebound in time.

But I am in full "swing trading" mode, which means that I have to trade "actively gaining" stock on a daily basis.

After buying SANM (10,000 shares) on Friday at $4.25, I sold this morning at $4.52-$4.55.  I did my chart review this weekend and thought TMTA had the best "repeatable gain cycle" of the 5 stocks I looked at, including NVAX.

I am once again "all in" with TMTA at 26,000 shares at $1.64-$1.66.

I am still working on the new "3SOF Knowledge Center" thread on swing trading.  I will post later this week.

LiveLife, for the short term, looks like a retracement for TMTA is looming. Increasing sell volume and RSI is near 80 indicating TMTA is overbought. Retracement might shoot it back down to 1.50-1.60 support levels.

Check out ETLT for similar swing play.

Nice to have you on board peteus!  David's picks have really been on "FIRE" this week.

All of his stocks are "green" with some, like AOB buy alert yesterday really took off!

D investor, thanks for the comments!

As a "full on" swing trader, I will take profit on gains (like SANM yesterday $0.30 x 10,000 shares = $3,000  YES!!!  Not too bad for one day "hold"  ;)

With TMTA, I am up $0.08 x 26,000 = $2,080!

Good trading!

Repost from TMTA and SANM boards:

Both TMTA and SANM seem to be "flat" today.

I sold TMTA this morning (26,000 shares at $1.70 on limit sell) and bought PAX on an "extremely short speculative" trade at $0.97 - $1.02 (43,600 shares!).  I thought about daytrading PAX before I left for work this morning, but after reading fousc's post about the new CEO, I will hold for now.

TMTA and PAX are David's 3SOF picks (PAX being his "fast" 3SOF).

David Randolph and Frederick Ramsburg are founders of 3StocksOnFire.org

You can find their picks on left colum links "3 Stocks on Fire, Fast 3 Stocks on Fire, 3 Pennies on Fire" (actually, it's more than 3 stocks...about 12 for now)  :D
