GVI Security Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: GVIS), a provider of integrated Homeland Security Enterprise solutions for government agencies and the private sector, today provided additional information with respect to its business outlook for the second half of 2005.

The Company expects to achieve a reduction in its net loss during the third and fourth quarters of 2005 from its second quarter loss of approximately $2.9 million, and to achieve breakeven status by the close of the first quarter of 2006. This forecast is based upon the expectation that sales of its retail products will return to historical levels during the second half of the year, and on the anticipated continued growth in sales of higher margin products by the Company's Enterprise Solutions Group.

Furthermore, the Company expects to generate positive cash flow from operations during the second half of 2005, due to improvements in its working capital management during the period.

"With $5.2 million in cash and $22 million in positive working capital as of the end of its second quarter, GVI Security Solutions has the financial strength to execute its current business plan. We anticipate being able to achieve profitability during 2006 without recourse to equity financings, which could be dilutive to our shareholders, or incurring additional debt outside of our current revolving credit facility," said Nazz Paciotti, the Company's CEO.
