Hello,

Yes, I'm holding ZICA @ $2.91, and I'll hold it for a few days. You must do your own DD, but I don't think is time to sell yet, the stock is gaining some nice momentum.

ZICA : has just crossed over MACD in a bullish upward trend. Had nice volume with some very good positive news on Dec. 13th. It was in the top 20 gainers of the Nasdaq percent gainers today. Today is the second of Three White Soldiers forming, Tomorrow will probably be the third. With to confirmed bullish upward trends forming this will be one to put on you're radar and maybe buy if you see another white candlestick forming and going higher than previous days close.

Zi Expands Growing Presence in Asia-Pacific through New Licensing
Agreements for Its eZiText Predictive Text Input Technology

Zi Corporation (NASDAQ:ZICA - News; TSX:ZIC - News), a leading provider of intelligent interface solutions, today announced that it has expanded its presence in the Asia-Pacific wireless market. Zi has signed significant licensing agreements for its advanced eZiText® predictive text input technology with five wireless companies. Located in the People's Republic of China, Malaysia and Korea, the five original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) will integrate eZiText into their own offerings to reduce key presses and enhance the user experience when text messaging.

Under the terms of the agreements, Desay A&V Science and Technology Co. Ltd., Eastern Communications Co. Ltd., Keben Telecom Co. Ltd., M dot Mobile Sdn Bhd and Uniscope Technologies (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. have all licensed eZiText. Desay, Eastern Communications and Uniscope have also licensed Zi's Chinese and English language databases for use with eZiText. Keben Telecom and M Dot Mobile have licensed the predictive text input technology for a variety of languages. The five new OEMs are expected to introduce devices in the market with eZiText embedded throughout 2006.

Industry analyst firm Gartner is predicting that mobile data service revenue in Asia-Pacific will increase from $15.7 billion in 2005 to $35 billion in 2009, with a compound annual growth rate of 22.3 percent. "The Asia-Pacific region has consistently been one of the leading markets for wireless adoption," said Milos Djokovic, chief technical officer and chief operating officer, Zi Corporation. "With the forecasted growth in mobile data revenues, Zi is empowering these five OEMs with the ability to drive increased usage of text messaging applications through the simplification of the user interface."

By escalating its presence in the Asia-Pacific wireless market, Zi is enabling more original equipment and original design manufacturers to enhance the power of their offerings with intuitive user interface technologies. These OEMs can improve the performance and marketability of their offerings, helping gain increased market share and drive wireless subscriber adoption of their services.

Virgin Mobile Preliminary Market Trial Data Shows Boost in Mobile Usage With Zi Corporation's Qix Software
Tuesday December 20, 8:00 am ET
Extension to Phase II Planned

LONDON & CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 2005--Zi Corporation (TSX:ZIC - News; NASDAQ:ZICA - News), today announced that preliminary results from the first live network trial of Zi Corporation's revolutionary Qix(TM) service discovery engine indicate significant increased usage levels on the mobile phones involved - from simple voice calls to SMS, MMS and Internet access.
Qix was bundled with Virgin Mobile's Nokia 6630 handsets. Virgin Mobile began the UK-based trial earlier this year in the summer and following the success of the initial phase the operator is now set to commence phase II and extend the trial to more users in the New Year.

Graeme Hutchinson, sales & marketing director at Virgin Mobile, said "Virgin Mobile always puts its customers' experience first - and the clever technology of Qix helps make complex phones simple to use. Our customers tell us that Qix means they get much more out of their phone - no more delving through menus - they can easily find what they are looking for on their phone simply and quickly. The results show much increased customer usage. This success has us looking forward to extending the trial to more customers and other phones in our range."

Qix provides for the first time an intuitive, fast search index for a mobile user, in the same way that an Internet search engine helps web surfers find what they are looking for. Qix is an innovative mobile service discovery engine that sits on the phone's idle screen and combines predictive text and content indexing to enable rapid discovery of contacts, features and services on a mobile phone.

Qix encourages greater Average Revenue per User (ARPU) by significantly reducing the number of key presses needed to use a phone, thereby enhancing the user experience for the subscriber and simultaneously driving service usage and adoption. Over time, Qix's interactive memory remembers new user data, including new URL bookmarks and called numbers for future presentation. It also tracks frequently used personal selections over time and then presents them with priority over other information, providing easy access to favourite items of the user.

"This is great news for the mobile industry in general and Zi in particular," said Zi Corporation's chief technical officer and chief operating officer Milos Djokovic.

"We knew we had something exciting in the labs earlier this year and Qix attracted interest from operators when we previewed it in Europe, North America and Asia. Virgin gave us the first chance to prove it in a live environment, for which we are very grateful, and the early signs are that it is delivering on its promises."

About Qix

Qix is a compelling new service discovery engine that sits on top of user-platform environments and operating systems. Qix provides a quick and easy method for accessing a phone's full set of features, applications and services without having to remember where and how to find them via a phone's built-in menu structure. Qix intuitively accesses a phone's features directly from the idle/dialing screen using the standard keypad. Visit www.zicorp.com/qix for more product information.

Quick profile on ZI:
Zi Corporation develops software for mobile and consumer electronic devices through its Zi Technology segment
Through its e-Learning segment, which includes Oztime, English Practice, and an equity interest in Magic Lantern Group, Inc., the company also involves in e-learning technology, content, and customer service, as well as educational content and distribution channels to offer learning management systems, interactive online courses, and network education solutions.

Taking a quick look at this company's financial, I kinda like it:
- Net loss over the past 3 years, but steadily getting closer to a positive number (-$25 M, -$6 M and -$2 M)
- Current assets almost x3 current liabilities... this is good! Cash alone covers current liabilities x2
- Great $10 M positive cash flow for 2004 - it was negative all years before

On the more negative side: negative ROE, ROA and Profit Margin for the past 3 years

I'm not too comfortable with TA just yet and have no clue as to how to attach a chart, so I'll just leave it at RSI just went over 50, but MACD is leveling and rising.

Just noticed there was already a thread for that stock started by Ramsburg...

Livana

yes peterwangos. I actually did not catch that.

From the company's 3rd quarter report (http://www.zicorp.com/PDFs/q32005.pdf), they already have a net loss of $3.2 M for the 9 months ending sept 2005. When they were down only $477 K at that same time last year...  ???
