Site Secured for Solar Power Breakthrough; New Low-Cost Solar Energy May Replace Gas
International Automated Systems Inc. (OTCBB: IAUS) (www.iaus.com) has secured the site for its first 1 Megawatt solar power plant. Once in operation, the company hopes to expand beyond several hundred Megawatts.

Breakthrough solar power technology developed by IAUS may become the first solar to compete with gas. Low-cost energy produced by the company's new patented and patent-pending solar technology can be used to generate electricity or produce clean fuels such as hydrogen and green methanol (gasoline replacements) at a competitive price.

The plant will be located in Southern California. IAUS expects to complete construction of the solar power plant during the first quarter 2006.

A solar area of only 100 miles squared -- a size of land that equals only 9 percent of the state of Nevada -- can generate enough electricity for the entire United States.

"The discovery of economical solar energy is more valuable than oil," said Neldon Johnson, president and CEO of International Automated Systems Inc. "The sun's energy is free, clean and virtually unlimited. IAS' new solar technology is a discovery of historical proportions that we hope will revolutionize energy production throughout the world."

The world energy market is $3 trillion per year. This $3 trillion does not represent nearly 30% of the world without electricity.

i don't think you got in, cause there's only 23M o/s!!!  that one would be tough.  also, right now, the co. has a 25M market cap, after the news.  w/ 150M contract, i think this stock has great potential.  any other thoughts?

rv

sorry, but one more quick thought  ???, w/ only 25M o/s, and w/ a 150M contract, does the stock have potential to go to $5 or more?  just one of those things in life that made say, hmmmm?

gmarc66

hey rv :)

well..i hear alot of people didnt get in...but, man..that would have been nice...they just wouldn't supply me with those shares...cruel!

since the o/s is low as you mentioned, perhaps this could have another go today...as its coming off a low and had retraced a good chunk from its high. I am deifinitely not a chart reader, but...the rsi is not exhausted yet, MACD is at a good level...golden cross is defiintely not here yet..but, looks like its making an appointment to meet for lunch soon...buffet?  :D Well..if there are any technical analysts out there to shed some educated light on this stock...would be much appreciated ;D

Oh..and its in a hot sector..so...could continue...im thinking ???

i will be watching and thinking of getting in...if the mm's are so kind as to let me pick up some shares that is :)

Volume spike from recent news was a long hollow candle and usually when this happens while stock is already in an uptrend it might have pullbacks but that's not to say it won't go back up if it was a long long hollow candlestick that spiked up with huge volume from the low point then I would buy.  If I was to consider buying I would wait to see if there is a pullback and buy on the pullback before next run up.
Yes, I do see good oportunity here knowing when to enter is the hardest thing to figure.
This is just my opinion as all knows stocks are unpredictable but charts gives us an edge to try and win the game and anybody who trades must trade based solely based on his own decision.
Goodluck to all :)
The bottom chart is an example of what I'm taking about

marketgainer.com: Releases Coverage International Automated Systems Incorporated
Thursday , February 09, 2006 13:00 ET

Feb 09, 2006 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Market Gainer is quickly emerging as the one stop shop for international small-cap investors looking to stay a step ahead of the markets. Our goal is to create a community of international investors who consistently and effectively capitalize on the enormous gains the small-cap Canadian and American exchanges offer. Shares of International Automated Systems Incorporated (OTCBB:IAUS) increased 97% from the previous close of $0.61. With over 1.3 million shares changing hands the company's current price rose to $1.20. The market activity is justified today with recent corporate development as the company announced they have signed a $150 million purchase and installation contract to install a turnkey 100-megawatt power plant for Solar Renewable Energy-1 LLC of Nevada.

The Nevada installation will showcase IAUS' solar collector lenses, which generate steam to its patented turbines for solar thermal-generated power. Low-cost energy produced by IAUS' new solar technology can be used to generate electricity or produce clean fuels such as hydrogen and green methanol (gasoline replacements) at a competitive price. IAUS' unique thin-film solar panels can be produced at a fraction of the cost of today's photovoltaic solar panels.

After viewing IAUS' proprietary technology, Charlie Vaughn, PE, former president of Nevada Power's coal subsidiary and former vice president of power generation for Nevada Power, stated, "The turbine with the rocket nozzle is so simple; it can be operated almost at will. I'm surprised someone didn't think of it before now. But, the item that places this solar technology in the same play park with fossil-fuel technologies today is the new solar panel. This is a real breakthrough in cost for renewable energy."

It was a big solar power project.. If more such projects are launched successfully than the energy crisis problem will be solved completely.
