Just wondering about the 3SF T-shirt. Would like to see a danish cookie on it ;)

andyman

Hey stocky

we are peeping here only on stock charts!!! :D
We do not want that David's homepage will be forced in to the  .xxx domain.

At least I would get some serious problems. My internet provider has a decency filter on (called proxy). This guy is damn strict!  ;D

But somehow I can follow your idea.  ::)

David,
I'm with you. Where do I send the check for the Hedge Fund? 100K minimum ok? I think we should all meet and have a kick off party. Say, Miami...Puff Daddy's place?

By the way, Hedge Funds are much easier to set up outside the US. Less taxes and regulation.

Just a suggestion: Maybe there could be a sliding scale for membership? I would pay more for those that can't afford it. I think Saffey's really struggling, and he seems as though he's a good enough fella. ;D

100k  ???

need to make penny stocks work day and night.

3SF.pk will be better idea

ChartHawk

I think anybody looking to escape the fees associated with some trade sites can find a new home with a simple search. Ive learned quite a bit from following some threads there http://www.elitetrader.com/     ..its free! Ads cover any website costs. Some traders meet there and just communicate via a free instant messenger. -goodluck ;D

I'm so sad. I'm sorry, but I am beginning to feel held up for more money than I'll be able to afford to stay with with this site that I have come to love so much. This site is just chock full of advertising, so I can't understand why $50 a month is required to maintain it. I suspect I'll get blasted for my opinions, but I certainly don't make them out of malice. I can't tell you how many times I've recommended this site to others on the various message boards I visit. I sincerely believe that a $9.95 a month subscription fee would be more than enough to keep this site up AND provide you with a nice income. This just breaks my heart...  :'(

usedcasting

Hi David, have you thought of limiting the number of members annually. I know it may sound crazy. But I know some sites that do it. I believe it's possible to maintain better service and sort of keeps things under better control. I thnk as well it shows a different priority, "the members". I know a bigger member list means bigger $$$ but sometimes bigger does not mean better.

Just a thought.

Love the Site

P.S. Maybe it's just me being greedy!
Know when to hold'em, know when to fold'em

David Randolph

Hello, let me try to answer your posts on this subject:

QuoteI agree with Cumlina,,$49.95 is a bit high and also...Members who have already contributed,,should be given a "Lifetime Discount" to the subscription service...

The fact that the initial donation was counted as a triple is of much more value than a percentage discount. This way you will have more «free» time to make a decision.

QuoteI've only been on this site for 12 hours and 32 minutes and I have enjoyed and appreciated every minute. I look forward to a rewarding, educational and entertaining future with 3sof.
What I am really excited about as well are the name's I see replying to this thread that are going to stay on board.

Congrat's on taking it to the next level, this is validation for the excellent site you have created.

Thanks guy's

Thanks a lot usedcasting, we'll do our best to improve our service month after month.

QuoteThis is an outstanding site and my knowledge of stocks, charts, trading, the markets, etc. has increased 10 fold or more!  With that said, $49.95 is not a high price to pay for such service considering the results.  We wouldn't be paying for a service with an unproven track record, the success of the investments is daily followed by all it's members and displayed on the sites' front page!  I can't even say I'm a small investor - micro investor is more like it  Wink  but I will gladly contribute for advice that I am confident will be a sound investment and will allow me to reap the rewards I seek in the marketplace.

While I have not contributed to date, I agree with Weightlifter.  Up until now, anyone that has contributed has done so with no consideration of return on their donations.  They have done so purely as a reward for what you and Ramsburg have done for them and their portfolios.  As they have rewarded you, maybe you should reward them with maybe a 10% discount off of all future enrollment fees?  Remember, it is partly because of them that you are now able to take the "next step" and make 3stocksonfire a truly valuable service to all!

Man, I can't tell you how much I appreciate what you guys are doing - including all of the great advice and posts by the sites members.  I'll just have to show my appreciation with my wallet..... Grin

Thanks a lot basonista. A 10% discount would only be more valuable than our triple offer about 2 years from now, and this way the members who made donations have more time to evaluate the quality of the service, because most of them still have some free months ahead.

I believe it's as you say, $49.95 is little compared to what you get, and anyone who doesn't feel satisfied can cut off the payment immediately, no problem with that.

QuoteI understand your decision to make this a paid service. You guys deserve it.

Will registered membered continue to receive emails for additions to the 3SOF and the 3POF portfolios?

BadarZ

Only until 30th of September, after that only subscribers will receive the newsletter. Thank you for your kind words BadarZ  :)

Quotedear david,
great site! hope i can take advantage of the offer. i am a very small trader just at the beginning with a tiny , tiny account ($3,000) but so far your site has been invaluable.
i will probably spend the 150 bucks for the initial subscription fee as i have only been on this site about a week and i have learnt so much. sheeesh! i blow that that much just walking out my front door.
it will also stop this from turning this site into another disgusting yahoo board. you and your current members treat eachother with respect and integrity which i believe everyone deserves. so much good info in such a short time will hard to pass up.
thanks so much ,
count me in
maxi

Thank you rickjust ! We'll do our best to improve our service month after month. We're glad you've joined us through this trip for market knowledge.

QuoteI was wondering when you guys would start charging. It was clear that you were laying a base for a successful  trading site and creating an interested and dedicated consumer following. Hey, if this fits the consumer's needs 50 bucks a month is a pittance. And if you can provide a profitable portfolio you should get paid for your time, efforts and expertise.

As for me, I have not followed your site closely enough to make a decision one way or the other. Couple of things  for me personally; I don't buy BB stocks, too difficult to get out and no depth of market, so your penny selections  would be of little use to me. I don't use Metastock, it's too expensive and complicated for my little brain, and lastly I already have enough in monthly fee payments. But seeing as I have until Oct.1 to decide I will follow you more closely and make a more informed decision. Good luck to you.

Archie

That's the spirit Archie, we hope we're able to meet your standards. You still have plenty of time to make a decision, and even after you make one you can always cancel it. Total transparency here. Through hard work and total dedication it is possible we get your attention and you consider our service of value to you. Thank you for your post Archie.

Gurukul

I think you guys deserve more then 50 bucks a month. I will wait to see your performance in penny portfolio for a month before I make a decision to join or not.

lol.. $50 x 500 paying members = David and Ramsburg are gonna be rich!

Great businessmen and great traders, they deserve it.. glad to see you all aren't underselling your services, but before I subscribe I'll either have to hit a 10 bagger with one of these pennies or I'll have to throw some more money into the market to justify a subscription.. We will see..

David Randolph

Quotehmmmm.. $50 a month = $600 a year, would be hard for me to justify that when I'm only playing with a 5k account.. I want to get more serious and put more money in the market as I learn more, but this is probably a setback for me and many other people that are not yet in the market as serious traders and swinging the big bucks around yet...

But I do want to invest in your companies stock when its available!!!  Shocked

Well TRUNK, if you made a donation now of $300 that would give you a full year of subscription, not $600. Anyway, with just a $5000 account I've paid in commissions more than those $600 every month  :-\ A man trades, and trades, and trades and he goes nowhere for a long time (not considering when he loses a lot, which unfortunately happens frequently). But I understand your argument, our free boards will still offer a good source of information and market knowledge, perhaps later you will be more ready to make this commitment.

If I have your attention you'll see me hard working to go deeper into stock market knowledge, sharing strategies and ways to grow a small account into a big one ... looking forward to share knowledge with you, if not on the Premium content we'll still meet on our free boards.

Thank you for your interest TRUNK, best wishes  :D

Quotearchie2...

I've been a member since late may - and I'm a scatter-brainish amateur!

I followed the investments on 3 Stocks On Fire (that is: I also invested) in the beginning, and made money!

Now for the scatter-brain part: I straied from the
"3 Stocks On Fire Strategy"
and began to sink money into other stocks - pretty little ones (pennies!) and promptly lost all gained plus quite some more! Sad

Wink I guess I'll just have to behave and stay a member!  Wink

Can't afford not to......

To follow 3SOF's progress, as you said you would, before making a commitment, seems like a fine plan.

Good luck to you too, and hope that you get convinced to get in with the rest of us.

Cheers.

Thanks for your kind words cumulina, discipline was the thing that cost me the most on the process of learning how to trade (of course, I'm still learning). If you go through my life you would see my dispair fighting against the natural human behavior of cutting profits and letting losses run. Only after taking many punches I could be totally disciplined, whatever the market circumstances.

Of course, the reward can be astronomical for the ones that know the game. My job is to make your path easier and faster. I hope I'll do a good job.

QuoteI have followed the website boards pretty everyday.. The technical analysis and other investor's pick have been valuable. Sometimes I kick myself in foot for not adhering to what some expereinced investors say...Also, some personal messaging from ramsburg on couple of stocks saved me money ( when stocks tanked), I think service is justified enough for the monthly subscription asked. Count me in......

I think myself to be an idiot not to donate money earlier......another lesson to be learnt....( seed the money and reap the profits later)....I was one of the very first ones to join the website but didn't pitch in as I mostly picked the shares which were risky ones and didn't show good returns on 3 SOF.... FLYI, IFLB.OB....

Thanks dhiraj19, it is a good thing our website saved you some money. The first rule of trading is not to lose. The second rule is to not forget the first rule. Profits will come naturally if you keep your capital. Protection of capital is the most important thing in trading, if you keep learning and not lose much in the process you're making good progress.

QuoteSo David, now I have a problem with you!  Angry
It prevented me already donating even trough I liked.

Why? Not because you want to have money for the Membership.
No! More simple - You want your cash via PAY PAL!

But, Pay Pal is choosy! Pay Pal does not like to deal with every country.

(Sorry, that has nothing to do with you, but I am facing the same problem again and again, with ebay, amazon ... and now also with 3SF.  Cry  Cry  Cry  I really ask myself how do I deserve this or better why do I have to work here, behind the moon???)

Also, I can put the $$ in a bottle and trough it in the sea (just 200m from here)...but it will take some time to reach you.
Or, I can send it via hyper-express. Just provide me the co-ordinates of the window of your flat. (South window please!!! That's important because my rocket flies a direct approach and can't turn 180 degree)  Cheesy
Well or we can agree to the last centuries old style (conservative) method, where you provide me in a private e-mail your bank details and I send you the $$ via wire transfer.

But please, don't exclude me!

Dont take me so serious, but i hope you understand my problem  Cry

Nevertheless all the best for your project

regards, andyman

ahahaha, great post andyman. Just send that bottle, it will arrive fine ...  :D I'll send you details to send your subscription fee to Stocks on Fire LLC account in the US, don't worry, I want you in  ;)

Thanks for your support andyman, I'm really getting encouraged by the feedback we're having, it's really amazing and I love this job !

QuoteMy opinion of this new move is pretty simple.

3stocksonfire is the best trading resource on the web and wherever you guys go, I'll be there.

I remember my very first post(no chart?!  Cheesy) on the INCY play which is how I heard of 3stocks: http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=26.0  ...seems like ages ago(almost 3 months now).  During these months I have grown as a trader, more than any other time in my life.

Looking forward to discovering some new patterns and releasing some more of my research on you guys for feedback.  3stocksonfire is where the G-pattern was first released into the wild!

I'm in!

Grin

It's great to have you on board eliteG, you're the best ! Just keep those patterns coming and let's make some green  8)

LOL to stocky's post  ;D

QuoteFirst time I was on this site it was hard to believe it was free.

My thanks for making it affordable for the quality that is at our fingertips.

Best wishes for your continued success.

Larry

Thanks a lot Larry, best wishes for you too. Man, I will sure work for success, since I don't believe in luck. Nice to have you with us  :)

QuoteMilitary discounts?
Can us smaller investors have one room where you throw us a bone once a week or something.  Well call it the "1 stock on fire room".  Well thanks for all the wise words and fun.

hehehe, you're funny puenthouse. Well, our free boards will always have good content and sometimes you'll get some of the premium content, sometimes ... but I hope someday you'll join us on the Premium are of the website.

Thank you for the great service for the world you're making in Irak, good luck !

hehehe, stocky and andyman keep on with sex jokes ... just wait for them to see the 3 SOF t-shirts, I'm not sure they will wear them on the street  hahaha

QuoteDavid,

You're a very nice guy tommyt  :D Yes, saffeysite1 is a great stock picker and a good fella, perhaps he will join us in the near future. Good idea on Hedge Funds, we still haven't investigate it a lot ... listen tommyt, if you have specific stock questions, please put them on the Members Board, its easier for me to answer there than through private messages. Can I put your last 2 questions on that board and answer them there? Thanks ...

I see that you'll have access to the Premium area of the website until 2007 or so, so you'll just have to bear with me for a long time  ;D  probably we'll meet during this time, Miami sounds great, never been there ...

QuoteI think anybody looking to escape the fees associated with some trade sites can find a new home with a simple search. This post isn't very polite ChartHawk, but I respect it and I want all our users to know the alternatives that face them. I know elitetrader very well and I think it is a great website. But it won't take you to the places 3 SOF will.

QuoteI'm so sad. I'm sorry, but I am beginning to feel held up for more money than I'll be able to afford to stay with with this site that I have come to love so much. D'Wheeze

Thank you for your post wheezledick and thank you for recommending 3SOF to your friends. Don't be sad, or I'll just start crying too  :'( Tell you this: you keep writing on the free boards, forget about the subscription, who knows, someday you'll think $50 is nothing for what you can get joining 3 SOF premium content. Anyway, you've found a home and trading friends, so hang around ... $9.95 wouldn't be enough for me and Ramsburg to leave our old job, I'm sorry and wish you good luck and all good things life has to offer you !

QuoteI think you guys deserve more then 50 bucks a month. I will wait to see your performance in penny portfolio for a month before I make a decision to join or not.

How much do you need? 100%? You're already a subscriber, it's a sure thing  ;)

Good night Gurukul and thanks for your support !

AussieTrader

There are free sites and there are paid sites, loads of them out there some good many BAD :o I've been round the block a few times and seen them all (well a lot) in my opinion the 3SOF site is without equal and that is down to 1) Randolph and Ramsburg and 2) The contributing members.
The only way to improve, maintain and enhance the quality you get here is by going subscription. I trade fulltime and have various subscriptions to enable my trading business, in a short space of time 3SOF is top of my must have list. I have learnt a lot in the past couple months more than I can tell you.
If the subscription seems too much then please stay on board in the free access sections there will still be some great picks, analysis and community going on there.
I'm staying around still got more to learn, and hopefully still got more to contribute.
Plus, and most importantly I want a tee shirt ;D

If 500 members in the first year, you mean $300,000 for dave & fred! WOWWW.. no need to trade dave & fred..

ChartHawk

Sorry if i came off impolite..-im just reluctant to pay for another expensive sub fee. I didnt realize there would still be a free board available to current members which is very appreciated! I look forward to viewing your upcoming trades going into the premium board change. Im sure alot of members will be doing the same. I wish you the best of luck but I doubt you'll need it. Im sure you'll do very well this month with your market experience and skill.  ...save me a T-shirt ???   -3sf Steve

p.s. - just thought of something. How about creating a Donation board? Alot of members benifit from the other posts that make up a large% of the free board. -EliteG posts consolidation patterns.-catrader called MDII. Adam, Aus, Stocky, saffey, setravis and others may be deserving of a fat donation for their stock picks too! -"applause"

saffeysite1

If it wasn't for Dave and Ramsburg I would have no life about now.  3SOF saved my life.  I was at bottom hitting the bottle everyday and with only $100 left in my pocket.  I somehow stumbled onto this site when I was originally surfing the web for free porn.  I think i put in a search Three sluts on Fire.  And then this site popped up.  I logged on and signed up.  Next thing you know.  I am rich, off the booze and have a hot blond with big balloons.  I am living like Henry VIII.

I think that $50.  is fair for getting the %gains that have been made on the stock picks here.  How much did you spend on that college economics course? And how many times does that come into use in your life today?  I think the cost of the books alone were more than the price of membership on this site.  If you're serious about trading, than it's worth the investment.

-Saffey.
