Veltex Corporation Issues Strong Q3 Results
Monday October 10, 12:39 pm ET

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., Oct. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Veltex Corporation (OTC: VLXC - News) today reported (unaudited) revenue of $16,740,888 for the third quarter of 2005 and net pre-tax income of $3,318,177. First half revenue is restated at $25,956,800 and includes $7,795,800 from Velvet Textile Mills that was omitted from the previous press release solely based on the fact that those figures had not yet been finalized at the time of publication. Net income from the Mill for the same period was $1,637,118. Revenue for the first three quarters of 2005 is $42,697,688 and income is $6,311,295.

Javeed Matin, CEO of Veltex Corporation stated: "We are excited with our progress in expanding our business and our continued strong revenue stream. Our tradeshow attendance is paying dividends as distributors are coming on-board in ever increasing numbers. Veltex-Explorer is fully integrated and making significant contributions to our bottom line and our licensing agreements are proving fruitful. We feel certain that we will meet our revenue goal of $60 million for 2005 with a net income of between $9 and $10 million. As we look forward to annual increases in revenue and net income, we obviously feel that our stock is considerably undervalued. We are confident that our efforts will remedy this situation in due course."

There are 9,732,087 shares currently outstanding with expected 2005 earnings of $.92 - $1.02 per share.

Interesting pick.  I am trying to do some DD, and information is hard to find!   ???  A dollar per share stock with a dollar per share earnings ... does not make sense????

nice pick setravis
I got an e-mail from  hototc.com    and here is the e-mail

   VLXC

I think it's pretty rare to find a company that is actually trading at expected earnings!  Actually it's probably unheard of.  Many companies trade at multiples times their earnings, most don't make money and may never make money.

A company like VLXC is a true hidden gem!!  VLXC is truly a rare breed.  They reported revenues of  $40 million in 2004 and on target to make $60 million this year!!!  When wallstreet catches wind of this company, I don't think we will see these prices for very long.  A company profile can be read at  http://www.veltexcorporation.com

Clothing is probably one of the most lucrative types of business out there.  Its no wonder every actor, singer, and rapper eventually starts their own line.  Clothing is where the money is.  VLXC also owns Veltex Explorer which makes hats for top name brands.  Their licenses include: John Daly, Everlast, Indian Motorcycle, Top Flite, Strata, Navigator, Budweiser, Tommy Hilfiger.  All the brands can be viewed here: http://www.explorergear.com

Upon speaking to Javeed Martin, the CEO of VLXC I learned a very interesting story.  Mr. Martin started out as a small cap investor himself.  He had invested his life savings into a company trading at $2 which eventually went to the high $80s where he cashed out and made millions.

Maybe the company he started will do the same for other small cap investors?  The future for VLXC definitely looks bright.  Clothing will always be in style and VLXC's revenues continue to grow every year.

Read over all of VLXC's press closely, and you will agree with me that this company is truly undervalued.

Hey guys - question.  I have been searching a couple of times and have struck out.  Love the revenue and earnings story here ... but I cannot find any corporate financials to verify (a) the shares outstanding and (b) any debt load.  Without that I cannot decide if this is an amazing find, or Samsonite in disguise.  Any info from anyone?   ???
