The lunch time shake-out busted two trailing stops. Don't see any subsequent selloff though. Will get back in if the mid $12s hold.

Are we having fun! This is only the end of the begining.

Hey David --- Thanks again for keeping us all up to speed on this issue, an exit point is just as
important as entry. getting hard to hold, kinda want to take profits now. lol

I believe the time has not yet come to take profits. Still holding and expecting an end of the day rally. Not selling today. Can't be afraid of losing profits (I know this is against human nature), got to hope they will grow more.

"Still holding and expecting an end of the day rally." I said the exact same thing a few minutes ago on another board!

I wonder how many longs think alike. And look at those $10 calls. It's like a gold mine.

I don't touch calls and puts. I believe it's a losers game. Why should I?

Good trades Ramlau  :)

dave i like your site, got a link here a while back. i have followed this stock for a long time and i agree on most of your points. this company went a long time with little or no news and then bam, it all let loose. we were still waiting on news of results from a rfid pilot test project that ended back in march 05. if they come out with positive news on that anytime during the pricing or ipo watch for another spike. if you check far back in their news youll find the story. im still in from 3-4 dollar range. watching closely for the sign to leave.

Had I had the balls (and foresight) to join the "losers" to buy the nearly worthless June 10 calls last week... Boy, almost $4 of PURE GIGANTIC profit!

Anyway, happy enough with my common shares. Tomorrow is the big day. We shall see what happens.

What a ride today!!   :'(   A lot of new players coming in.
I'll be tightening up as we move closer to the IPO.

Any thoughts on the time difference between markets (i.e. on IPO day: holding after the close in US when it opens in Tokyo?)
Thanks.

First post here yet lurking for a month or so. David thank you for the research and insight with this website. You could easily hoard your picks to yourself yet you present them to your loyal following. This has been the only thing I have been holding for the past week and thinking tomorrow might be the end of what we have grown accustomed too. Either way consider me as another faithful follower of your amazing analysis!

This is it. Tomorrow is the 14th of June, the time has come to sell IIJI with an handsome and safe 100% plus profit !

Buy the rumor, sell the fact.

The rumor was: insiders and core shareholders will push the price of IIJI higher during the 14-16th of June period that will count for the IPO setting price in Japan.

The rumor will be a fact (or not), tomorrow. I'm selling the open, I hope it is a gap up.

Some people will be waiting for the results of the second listing in Japan and for the post market action. I won't do that and I've explained why - the stock already climbed 335% in the last month, and it will be the Nasdaq quotes who will lead, not the Tokyo quotes (much more shares will be traded on the Nasdaq than in Japan).

I believe the stock will be hovering around the $12-$15 range over the next few days and then price will collapse by the end of the month. But let me tell you this: love is a dangerous thing in the stock market (as in life  :P)). When I leave a lady I never want to look back.
Same thing with stocks and speculation, once a story is over don't look at it for several months or even years. Don't believe that «buy on a pull back» crap, after the speculation is over the stock will be filled with bagholders and no wise speculator wants to waste his time and money trying to surpass them.

Enjoy your profits but don't relax, more are coming  8)

IIJ Announces Determination of Offer Price for Shares Offered in Public Offering in Japan

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TOKYO, June 14, 2005--Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, NASDAQ: IIJI) today announced that it had determined the offer price for the shares to be offered in Japan in connection with the listing of its shares on the Mothers market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

In connection with the Mothers listing, IIJ plans to issue 2,500 new shares and two shareholders, NIF Ventures Co., Ltd. and JAFCO Co., Ltd., which are Japanese venture capital firms, plan to sell 900 existing shares in an underwritten public offering in Japan. In addition, the lead underwriter will be provided by the selling shareholders with an additional 500 shares to cover over-allotments. The newly issued shares will comprise approximately 6.1% of IIJ's total shares after giving effect to the issuance.

The offer price per share will be JPY 2,859,886. The offer price was determined, in accordance with the rules of the Japan Securities Dealers Association, based on the closing price of IIJ's American Depositary Receipts on the NASDAQ National market on June 13, 2005 subject to a discount of 6%, which is at the lower end of the discount range initially anticipated.

Proceeds to IIJ from the offerings, which amounted to approximately JPY 6.6 billion, are expected to be used for mainly its capital expenditure and research and development.

Any shares sold in connection with the proposed offering have not been and will not be registered under the U.S. Securities Exchange Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act") and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration under the Securities Act or an applicable exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act.
