This may have been asked before, but out of curiosity, why is Bravo listed on the 3 SOF category rather than the Penny board?

Prfsr Hal

Actually, I believe David has BRVO in the 3 Stocks on Fire portfolio because it was a purchase before the 3 Pennies on Fire portfolio existed.  If I remember right he mentioned leaving it there since he considers it a long term investment.

On the Bravo website and in their press releases they list Sam's Club as one of their distribution retailers. Their product is not listed on the Sam's website nor is it available in the local store. Has anyone see otherwise?

I remember reading a couple of posts of people that have purchased Slammers at Sam's Club.  I am a member of BJ's and have been meaning to check there but haven't had a chance too yet.

For those of you wondering why BRVO is in 3SOF Portfolio: (here) ;)

Considering my analysis made yesterday I'll buy BRVO.OB around today's open. I hope it is in the low 60's. What a magnificent buying opportunity this is.

This will be on the 3 Pennies on Fire Portfolio, since BRVO.OB is a stock traded on OTCBB and I'm only allowed to buy NYSE, Nasdaq or AMEX stocks for the 3 Stocks on Fire Portfolio.

Just one correction, we'll open an exception on BRVO.OB and buy it for the 3 Stocks on Fire Portfolio, 6.66% of capital. You see, if it were for the 3 Pennies on Fire we would buy just $1,000, and that's ridiculous considering the stock we're talking about.

After all, BRVO.OB won't be traded on the OTCBB for long, I believe. As it happened with AOBO.OB that turned into AOB ...

Clarification made, it's time to get busy !

David Randolph

Thanks for that quote Terlisa  :)

There were no news this weekend on BRVO.OB and the stock barely moved on Friday. Nothing has changed, I'll continue holding BRVO.OB.

Indeed awesome news. It highlights Bravo!'s fundamental story. They have an excellent product, which they have position beautiful in the market and which offers unique advantages in the distribution and retailing environment.

The only thing they were missing was distribution muscles. That is what the CCE deal is giving them. They have create a perfect storm in the flavored milk drinks market and as shareholders we will have the wind in the back

Nice PR, just hit .65 (new HOD), expecting to see it run a bit...

I have been thinking about getting back into BRVO for a while, but haven't really paid any attention to it.

Today I just happened to be watching the news scrolling by, and news about BRVO caught my eye. Luckily I had money available ( they were supposed to buy some additional GNBT for!) so I was able to get BRVO at 0.61. What a lucky break!

The news are great, really what all BRVO-fans have been waiting for, and David's patience now seems to be paying off.

Glad to be in again.  ;D
Happy trading...

I picked up a bit more at .63.  It's still a small position but I'm trying to be a good boy and diversify according to 3SOF rules.

Good Luck to All !!!

I've been thinking about getting into BRVO for sometime as well too. I finally made my decision to sell on the downside breakout of the descending triangle to get out at .49. Looks like management finally remembered they had a press machine  ;D. I'll be looking to get in on a close above .72 if i still have funds available by then  ;D.

Heres todays PR:

Coca-Cola Enterprises Begins Distribution of Slammers(R) Under Master Distribution Agreement
11/7/2005 11:25:55 AM

NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla., Nov 07, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Bravo! Foods International Corp. (BRVO), a brand development and marketing company that manufactures, promotes and distributes fortified, flavored milks, announced today that it has shipped its Slammers(R) milk drinks to Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. (CCE), under CCE's initial order for distribution in the United States.

Bravo! Foods also advised that, subsequent shipment of the initial order, it received replenishment orders from CCE for additional cases of the Company's Slammers(R) product.

On November 1, 2005, Coca-Cola Enterprises began distribution of Bravo!'s Slammers(R) milk products in the United States under the Master Distribution Agreement signed by Bravo! and CCE in August. Shipment to CCE and commencement of Slammers(R) distribution on November 1, 2005, meets the scheduled "distribution date" set forth in the Master Distribution Agreement between Bravo! and CCE.

Bravo! Foods CEO Roy Warren said, "I am extremely pleased with the progress of coordinated sales efforts between CCE and Bravo! to date. We anticipate that this relationship will continue to grow with the distribution of Slammers in the new and expanded sales channels that CCE brings to our business."

In preparation for November distribution, Bravo! shipped its Slammers(R) in October pursuant to CCE's initial order under the Master Distribution Agreement. The shipments included Slammers(R) Milky Way(R), 3 Musketeers(R), Strawberry and Orange Starburst(R), Vanilla and Chocolate Pro-Slammers(TM) and Vanilla and Chocolate Slim Slammers(R).

Since Bravo! began shipments to CCE in October for the November distribution launch, CCE has ordered additional Slammers(R) product. The Company reported that the total gross revenue represented by CCE's initial orders currently exceeds gross revenue in any previous quarter of Bravo!'s history.

Warren continued, "With shipments under CCE's first order a reality, we are aggressively seeking additional capacity for our shelf-stable plastic bottles to handle the anticipated new demand for our Slammers products in the marketplace."

Bravo! Foods' popular Slammers(R) milk drinks come in 14 oz. shelf-stable bottles that can be stored without refrigeration for up to six months, and distributed at ambient temperatures avoiding the additional costs and logistic hurdles associated with cold chain distribution. The long shelf-life and ambient storage capability is due to a combination of unique processing and packaging, accomplished without compromising taste. Retailers nationwide are offered a variety of great-tasting, single-serve Slammers(R) flavors, for sale in the refrigerated dairy section.

About Bravo! Foods

Bravo! Foods International Corp. (BRVO) develops, brands, markets, distributes and sells nutritious, flavored milk products throughout the 50 United States, Mexico, Great Britain and various Middle Eastern countries. Bravo!'s products are available in the United States and internationally through production agreements with regional aseptic milk processors and are currently sold under the brand name Slammers(R).

Many of Bravo! Foods' Slammers(R) line of extended shelf-life, single- serve milk drinks are co-branded through exclusive partnerships with Masterfoods, a division of Mars Incorporated, Marvel Entertainment and MD Enterprises (Moon Pie(R)), providing superior name recognition packaged with quality, great-tasting drinks.

Looking at the volume, great PR, and earning report coming up, this should break Dave's $0.72 break out zone shortly, if not just tomorrow.

Some factors that I like:

1. Since Monday's breakout, BRVO has been closing above its 50DMA.  The August 24 gap down was 50 trading days ago, so on any rally, the 50DMA is ready to move higher.

2. During this consoldiation, the 50 DMA has remained above the 200 DMA, and the 200DMA has had a chance to play "catch up."

3. MACD ticked above the zero line on Tuesday.

4. On the Ichimoku chart (next post), the faster Tenkan-Sen ticked above the slower Kijun-Sen last Friday, when BRVO was "champing at the bit" for a breakout.  BRVO broke out the next session (Monday).

Yesterday was a good example of a chart that was constructively bullish, "champing at the bit" for a second breakout on any excuse to do it.

QuoteI wouldn't consider it to be a breakout if BRVO continues to trade at $0.62 and just "falls over the trendline" as time moves forward.  I'd want to see some volume, and as David said, I would want to see a print above $0.66, making a "higher high."

BRVO didn't just "fall over the trendline."   Volume came in (best since early September), and BRVO printed and closed above $0.66, making the "higher high."

On the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo chart, the top of the Kumo (Cloud) now is at $0.8025, less than a penny below the August 23 close of $0.81 (horizontal blue line), prior to the gap down on August 24.
