MOMO NEWS/Whatever

This thread is being started for two reasons....

   # 1. I like "Momo News" stock plays....not just any news, but BIG news, like BIG contracts, etc....basically any BIG news that makes a stock go bonkers for a few hours at least. ;D Fluff PR's with no real numbers/guts/etc. might lift a beaten down dead stock for a short time, but I want BIG news that's lighting a fire....one other time fluff PR's seem to lift pennys, at least, is when it's in a hot sector, etc....these tend to heat up and cool down...examples are oil and NG, homeland security, hurricane offshoots, bird flu nausea,  ;D etc.....

This is not a place to pump your holdings....but post stock NEWS that causes a stock explosion...get in, make a profit, and RFTD.  ;D

   # 2. The "Whatever" part.   ;D  Chit chat or talk about anything between finding that EXPLOSIVE news we all look for....and try and keep Elite's thread on HIS topic, so he can quickly post his GREAT stock and chart imput....

So, this is for big NEWS...that may very well, in fact, work in unison w/Elite's thread, and also whatever else you want to talk about....so, let's have fun and find some BIG news along the way....this isn't just my thread....it's for whomever wishes to participate. ;D

And any stocks...OTC, Big boards, whatever.  :)

eliteG

I think its a great idea Run!  May work very well in unison and I plan to post some momo OTC news here as well.  ;D  Thanks for the comments.

Looking forward to this tomorrow(the test run  ;))

Applaud for the great initiative.

runforthedoor

Great...make some specific rules for what you want on your thread to streamline it, and direct whatever else to this thread. Bulk won't hurt the BIG news posts, and this thread can be deleted and restart from time to time as it needed.  ;D

cumulina

I think that's a fine idea, RFTD!

There are so many threads about stock that people believe are JUST about to make the big jump, but I find it hard to check them all - and then off course I miss a lot of good trades.

It'll be nice to be able to pop in here once in a while to chech if there is something stirring!
And the combination between this and EliteG' s is a good one.

Applause!
Happy trading...

:)

Cumulina.

gmarc66

Sounds like a good Idea RFTD ;D

I will definitely be watching and try to contribute.

Lets hope that great news has the effect it used to have before the bear market ruined it. Sometimes there is great news and not much happens..i hate that. So, lets hope Davids bullish outlook will bring backthe days when great news caused one day multi baggers....i miss those.

Ok..lets hunt for those great N/R's and bring home the bacon. ;D

Excellent thought RFTD ;D

thanks

julia

Good mornin.  Well I guess I might be able to kick this off.  I am most interested in OTC news, and I will try to bring up news of stocks in at least ok chart formation.  Hope this format is ok.  :)

Canada Grants Key Mobile Marketing Application Patent to NeoMedia

FT. MYERS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 2005--
NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: NEOM), an innovator
in wireless services and patented PaperClick(R) technologies that
provide automatic links to Internet-based information, said today that
it has received an approval of a patent for an application vital to
delivering information for mobile marketing and other applications
from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) in Quebec.
Charles W. Fritz, NeoMedia's founder and chairman, said the patent
corresponds to NeoMedia's U.S. Patent No. 6,434,561 issued in August
2002, and is for a "Method and System for Accessing Electronic
Resources via Machine-Readable Data on Intelligent Documents."
The patent, said Mr. Fritz, deals with improved methods of
converting information placed directly on a physical object into
PC-readable data utilizing two-dimensional bar codes and various data
compression techniques, along with software and desktop image
scanners. Each 2 to 3-inch bar code can hold 2 to 3KB (equivalent to
two or three printed pages), depending on the data compression
technique used.
An example of how NeoMedia's patented technology can be used is in
reading a two-dimensional bar code on an ad, promotional brochure, or
any other physical object. Then, using software and an image scanner
-- and with or without linking to the Internet -- the user could
easily and accurately import the linked information into an
applications, such as Quicken(R), Microsoft(R) Money, etc., or just
directly onto their cell phone, PDA or personal computer.
Dr. Kevin Hunter, NeoMedia's chief scientist, and Robert T. Durst,
Jr., a consultant to NeoMedia, developed the technology for which this
patent was issued.

'Point-of-Purchase in Consumer's Hand'

"Today," said Mr. Fritz, "the point-of-purchase is right in the
consumer's hand. We believe the ability to read and process indexes
and codes, to obtain desired information, comparison shop, etc., as
performed by NeoMedia's patented PaperClick technology platform, is a
vital and central component to the growth of mobile marketing around
the world."
The issuance of this patent by the CIPO, said Mr. Fritz, "adds to
NeoMedia's already-strong global patent position, with those patents
all holding well in court."
The patented PaperClick family of mobile marketing services is
immediately available to brand managers and marketing/advertising
agencies, wireless carriers, and manufacturers of Internet-capable
devices including cell phones, SmartPhones and PDA's. Information is
available from (630) 435-9200, Ext. 125, or by e-mailing
[email protected].

I saw those too...WWAT's chart does have potential....but so far, no action on either in pre open...watching them though.

As far as news, I usually monitor   http://www.purepennies.com/otcbb_news.shtml

Any other good news sights for pennies anyone?

And any suggestions on this thread...spew them out...it's a work in progress. ;D

We all know about the 'G' pattern....what I'd like to look for in this BIG news thread is that initial big spike that eventially leads to the 'G' pattern. Of course, any spike will be welcome. ;D

Well, now WWAT is bidding up....looks like a potential $ maker here.  ;D

ENDE is bidding up a bit on yesterday afternoon news...may have more to go. ;D
