Wireless headset maker, IFO had a deal with Sony yesterday and has been showing some explosive moves in the past month.

Great IBD numbers.  Hit 15 yesterday, pulled back today then blasted through 15.

Volume could be more impressive.  Should move on Monday then pull back (like most that barely make it on the IBD 100)

One of the cell-phone industry's largest distributors, San Diego-based Infosonics decided in 2004 that its future was south of the border. So it dumped its business of providing phones to mostly U.S. retailers and began providing phones from Samsung, Motorola (MOT), and others to Latin America from a 22,000-square-foot warehouse in Miami. In April, it leased another warehouse in Mexico to take advantage of that country's fast-growing market of more than 47 million cell-phone users. Sales have grown at an average 42.5% clip per year since 2002, and over the past 12 months, the 28-person company generated $145.8 million in sales and eked out a profit of $2.3 million.

InfoSonics Announces Two-for-One Split of Its Common Stock
Business Wire - May 31, 2006 08:30

SAN DIEGO, May 31, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- InfoSonics Corporation (AMEX:IFO), one of the fastest growing distributors of wireless handsets in the United States and Latin America, announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a two-for-one split of its outstanding common stock. The split is payable on June 19, 2006, to holders of record on June 9, 2006. Caution for an entry now........
No handle has formed! If this were a bull market, that would not be a problem, but seeing this as a corrective market, I would exercise extreme caution at this point !

On the flip side.... Pullback ahead..... (Short Recommendation)
The momentum crowd has blown this one way out of proportion. In the long term, it will likely keep growing, but not before a pullback.

Hi

IBD says buy point is around $24.

If it closes below that I will consider selling.

I doubt that it will drop below $24 before the stock split date - which is itself confusing because they say 100% stock dividend(which is the same as a 2 - 1 split) will be paid on June 19th to stock holders of record on June 9th!
To me this means we have to hold it till the 19th to get the split.

Hi

I guess I was wrong. Now it dropped to $17.00 and institutions are loading up.
