Thursday December 15, 11:13 am ET

NOVATO, Calif., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SpatiaLight, Inc. Additionally, SpatiaLight is proud to announce that LG has informed SpatiaLight that shipments of televisions powered by its imagers are to commence Tuesday, December 20, 2005, to major retailers in Australia. Recently, LG hosted major product launch events in the following cities to drive retail interest in the new LCoS televisions: Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and the Gold Coast region. The major retailers to initially carry the televisions include: Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Betta Stores Ltd. and Australia's largest retailer Coles Myer Ltd.

SpatiaLight began delivery of its LCoS imagers intended for mass production of high definition televisions to LG on November 7, 2005. Deliveries are expected to continue weekly throughout the agreed upon initial six-month term.

Dr. Michael S. Jin, SpatiaLight's Chief Technology Officer, commented, "We are extremely happy that production volumes and yields are coming in as expected despite extraordinary testing efforts on these initial batches to ensure exceptional performance. We've committed a large amount of resources to testing to insure that each chipset delivered is of superior quality."

A press release issued by LG Electronics USA in September from the CEDIA EXPO in Indianapolis described the new LCoS based televisions as "stunning" and stated that, "the big LG is designed to deliver superior HDTV performance using the latest LCoS chip technology."

"We are pleased to see the pipeline begin to fill with televisions powered by our imagers as we ramp toward larger volumes," stated Ted Banzhaf, SpatiaLight's Executive Vice President. (Nasdaq: HDTV - News), a leading manufacturer of state of the art liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) microdisplays, announced today that it recently delivered an initial production lot of its 1080p LCoS Sets its customer ThinTek Optronics Corp. for immediate assembly of optical engines to be used in rear projection televisions.

ThinTek, widely recognized as the leading LCoS optical engine designer in Taiwan, has qualified SpatiaLight as their exclusive approved vendor of 1080p LCoS microdisplay panels. More importantly, SpatiaLight and ThinTek are cooperatively working with multiple prospective OEM customers in Japan and the United States for the production of rear projection high definition LCoS televisions powered by SpatiaLight's proprietary 1920 x 1080p imagers. The ThinTek 1080p optical engine incorporating SpatiaLight's three-panel LCoS Sets represents a turnkey solution that will allow major OEMs to bring product to market on a fast track.

ThinTek has publicly announced that it will exhibit its 1920 x 1080p LCoS platform solution at the January 2006 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Dr. David Hakala, Chief Operating Officer of SpatiaLight, stated, "Deliveries of our production imagers to ThinTek represents a key step in our business development strategy. Our jointly developed turnkey solution is already commanding substantial interest from prospective Tier One customers and we believe that our ability to deliver production imagers to ThinTek will encourage these prospective customers to move forward with integrating our product into their rear projection television lineups."

SpatiaLight Ramps Up Shipments
Thursday March 30, 2:22 pm ET
SpatiaLight Shares Jump As the Digital Display Maker Reports Shipping Ahead of Schedule

NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of SpatiaLight Inc. jumped Thursday after the maker of high-resolution digital displays said it significantly increased product shipments.
The Novato, Calif., company said it is ahead of its delivery schedule in shipping the 1,000 imager sets it had planned to ship by the middle of April.

Spatialight said it has delivered more than 350 sets so far, and added that its schedule includes larger deliveries as production increases.

The shipments are to South Korea-based LG Electronics, the company's largest original equipment manufacturer customer, and to Taiwan-based Thintek Optronics Corp.

Spatialight's shares climbed 52 cents, or 22 percent, to $2.88 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq. The stock has changed hands between $2.09 and $6.98 in the past 52 weeks.

"The ramp up of our manufacturing is moving along smoothly and our yields continue to increase," said Dave Hakala, chief operating officer, in a statement.

"We expect this growing production volume to not only enable us to fulfill our initial purchase order with LG, but to help generate, and fulfill, expanded demand from additional customers," he added.

SpatiaLight Successfully Ramping Up Customer Deliveries of T-3 Imagers
Thursday March 30, 8:30 am ET

NOVATO, Calif., March 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SpatiaLight, Inc. (Nasdaq: HDTV - News), a leading developer and manufacturer of ultra high-resolution Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) microdisplays for the high definition television market, today announced a recent significant increase in product shipments to LG Electronics, its largest OEM customer and to Thintek Optronics Corp. This delivery increase reflects SpatiaLight's successful mass production ramp up of its 1080p T-3 imagers that has occurred in March.

During SpatiaLight's fiscal year-end earnings call held on March 14, 2006, the company stated that it intended to deliver approximately 1,000 LCoS imager sets to its customers, including LG Electronics, over the following 30 days. In the past two weeks, SpatiaLight has delivered more than 350 imager sets toward that initial goal of 1,000. This is ahead of SpatiaLight's delivery schedule, which includes larger deliveries as production increases. Dave Hakala, SpatiaLight's Chief Operating Officer, commented, "As we continue to accelerate our volume production ramp, we expect to satisfy the balance of the initial delivery schedule within the forecasted 30-day time period and to continue to ramp toward larger production volumes going forward."

"We are able to build shipping volumes because of our improved and consistent test yields, as measured against fully agreed upon specifications with LG," he added. "The ramp up of our manufacturing is moving along smoothly and our yields continue to increase. We expect this growing production volume to not only enable us to fulfill our initial purchase order with LG, but to help generate, and fulfill, expanded demand from additional customers," concluded Dr. Hakala.

Each SpatiaLight chipset incorporates three proprietary imagEngine(TM) microdisplays. The third generation T-3 model -- which has an active matrix configuration of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels, for a total of 6.2 million pixels -- provides the highest resolution in the industry and is expected to help drive greater sales of HDTV units. The first generation T-1 model, which is no longer in production, had an active matrix configuration of 1280 pixels by 960 pixels.

On March 17, 2006, SpatiaLight raised approximately $1 million from the sale of 500,000 of its common shares. In accordance with Nasdaq Rule 4350(b), SpatiaLight also announced that in its Form 10-K filed with the SEC on March 16, 2006, its independent registered public accounting firm, Odenberg, Ullakko, Muranishi & Co. LLP, issued an audit report that expresses an unqualified opinion and includes a matter of emphasis paragraph relating to the company's ability to continue as a going concern.

About SpatiaLight

SpatiaLight, Inc., founded in 1989, manufactures high-resolution LCoS microdisplays for use in high definition televisions and other display applications. Providing resolution of more than 6.2 million pixels, each SpatiaLight LCoS set incorporates three proprietary imagEngine(TM) microdisplays.
