Envoy Communications Group Inc. announces fiscal 2005 results
Tuesday December 20, 8:30 am ET
Envoy earns $.27 per share

TORONTO, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Fiscal 2005 has been another successful year for Envoy Communications Group Inc.
Envoy recorded net revenue of $43.2 million for its fiscal year ended September 30, 2005, an increase of 16.8% from fiscal 2004. Net earnings were $5.9 million, or $0.27 per share, compared with a net loss of $3.1 million, or $0.18 per share, in fiscal 2004.

"With strong earnings in our North American business, complementing the contribution from the inclusion of our Parker Williams acquisition, this has been a very good year," declared Geoffrey Genovese, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer.

For the year, earnings from continuing operations were $4.1 million, compared with a loss of $2.7 million in 2004.

For the fourth quarter ended September 30, 2005, net revenue was $11.9 million, an increase of 31.1% from $9.1 million for the corresponding quarter of 2004. Net earnings were $0.9 million, or $0.04 per share, in fiscal 2005, compared to a loss of $0.3 million, or $0.01 per share in 2004.

Recent developments and highlights of 2005
    -  Effective February 28, 2005, through its UK subsidiary, Envoy acquired
65% of Parker Williams Design Group. PW clients include Norden Coop,
       Sainsbury's and others.
    -  On June 30, 2005, Envoy sold its investment in John Street Inc.
subsidiary to the management of the company and, as a result, showed a
gain from discontinued operations of $1.8 million in fiscal 2005.
    -  To ensure compliance with its NASDAQ listing requirements, Envoy
affected a 5 for 1 share consolidation in February 2005.
    -  Envoy purchased and cancelled 2,447,417 of its common shares during
fiscal 2005, under the terms of a normal course issuer bid.
    -  For fiscal 2005, the Company will be considered to be a "Passive
Foreign Investment Company" (PFIC) under the U.S. Internal Revenue
       Code.

Going forward, Envoy believes that there are a number of economic uncertainties, competitive challenges and business risks that will impact the client spending commitments of its operating companies in the 2006 fiscal year. Consequently, Envoy has recently implemented a restructuring plan that will result in annual savings in salaries, benefits and other expenses of approximately $3.7 million in fiscal 2006.

Management's discussion and analysis, containing a full analysis of financial results, is available on EDGAR (www.sec.gov/edgar.shtml) and on SEDAR (www.sedar.com).

Just came back from my son's school.

She exited me at 3.89
May go in again at the Hourly pullback.
Just noting that in this chart(Stockcharts) it shows 50 below 200 whereas the chart from tradefreedom shows 50 above 200 (I've been assuming that this was sma).
Under chart settings, I have Moving average(high = 50) and Moving Average(Low = 200).
Go in with upside momentum or wait for stock to tank and buy close to support.

For long term holders,
This is the how the most recent  weekly chart looks today.
An upside break of a tight Bollinger Band with big volume.
Fresh cross on MACD  and MACD Histogram.
A cross of the stochastics ( my concern is it's in overbought territory - but I saw some stocks before flying on overbought conditions).
I'm going to take a nap first so that I'll have some energy later to drive the bus.
Hopefully, the Market Makers will hold the stock from flying until 3pm if not, good luck to long term holders.
Scalpers, this time is about your playground.
Shorts may want to re-asses their positions.
I'll be following this stock to see where 100 shares(long term) at $3.15 will be taken.
Where's the next resistance?
Go in with upside momentum or wait for stock to tank and buy close to support.

Envoy Communications Swings to 1st-Quarter Profit on Revenue Increase

NEW YORK (AP) -- Envoy Communications Group Inc. said Monday it swung to a fiscal first-quarter profit on a jump in revenue.
The announcement sent shares of the Toronto company up 28 cents, or 10 percent, to $2.98 in early trading on the Nasdaq.

For the quarter ended Dec. 31, Envoy Communications earned $1.6 million Canadian ($1.4 million), or 8 cents Canadian (7 cents) per share, compared with a loss of $1.1 million, or 5 cents per share, for the same quarter in 2006.

Revenue rose 57.2 percent to $5 million ($4.3 million) from $3.2 million in the year-ago period.

Company officials credited the results to strong performances from its consumer and retail branding business and its merchant banking business. Envoy also said it bought and canceled 45.6 percent of its outstanding shares, the result of which was an increase in the net book value per share of 28.9 percent.

Shares of ECGI rose 23 cents, or 8.7 percent, to $2.93 on the Nasdaq in morning trading.

Inserted a copy of my notes here from 100 shares long term.
Update on ECGI
1 Big upwards volume backed move
2 Pullback of price and volume that was at least 2 days
3 a higher high with higher volume than previous day
4 stochastics about to cross or just crossed
5 High of most recent candle is the same as the close of the breakout which is $3.67
6 an open above 3.60(most recent close) and a break above 3.67 with big volume should trigger the G-spot  or would 3.80(highest open) be the trigger?
