I really don't have any time to explain this pick, I just know the numbers seem allright, the chart also and the market cap is just $25.51M, where as CALVF.OB with basically the same fundamentals (I'll have to dig further to confirm this), has $48M in market cap.

Anyway, this is another gold micro cap penny stock to join CALVF.OB on the 3 Pennies on Fire Portfolio.

I'll try to buy about $1,150 of SVSE.OB around the open or a little later, it depends on volume.

Silver Star's EVI 7-11 Production Analyzed, Stock Rises 20% On Higher Volume
Wednesday, January 11, 2006 00:14 ET

Jan 11, 2006 (financialwire.net via COMTEX) -- January 11, 2006 (FinancialWire) Silver Star Energy, Inc.'s (OTCBB: SVSE) EVI 7-11 oil has been analyzed by AGAT Laboratories in Calgary and has returned a gravity of 36.5 degrees, compatible with Husky production in the Red Earth area.

The oil is considered light crude and will sell at Imperial Light crude prices, quoted January 10, 2006, at $59.53 per barrel.

Silver Star has been informed by Transaction Oil and Gas (the operator) that the construction of the surface site facilities began on January 9. When complete, the well will be placed on production with the oil initially being trucked to Husky at their 7-1 battery for shipping. This facility is about 2.5 miles away. Silver Star anticipates the commencement of commercial production shortly, before the end of January. The gravity of the oil is compatible with Husky production in the Red-Earth area.

As production is monitored and consistent flow rates are established during this initial production period, the construction of a pipeline to tie into the Husky pipeline system will be planned at that time. The tie-in point is one mile south of the 7-11 well.

Silver Star gained 20.00% on volume of 691,731, which was almost twice its average 391,490, to close at $0.30.

Silver Star Energy is covered by Investrend Research affiliate SISM Research's analyst, Ernest C. Schlotter. On April 14, 2005, Schlotter initiated coverage with a "Speculative Buy/4" rating, and a 12-month target of $1.50.

SISM Research is distributed by the Investrend Research Syndicate.

According to the New York Times (NYSE: NYT), a survey by Charles Schwab & Co. reveals an astonishing 78 percent of active stockholders now "value research from independent firms over analysis by Wall Street firms with financial ties to the companies they are rating." A survey at Investopedia reveals that 74.7% of investors say that "legitimate fee-based research is objective and useful," and 70.9% say that a company that enrolls for "legitimate fee-based research is making a positive statement about its investment potential."

Silver Star Energy is paying SISM Research $1,750 per month over a two-year period solely to ensure independent coverage.

Oil and Gas.  David must have had gold on the brain when he wrote it.  No biggie.  It takes oil to make gold.
I've been thinking for a long time that the fundamentals have been improving.  They sold one well for a couple mill.  Started producing on the gas wells (which has been good positive revenue).  Struck oil again light crude.
I see the quarter over quarter coming in very strong.  And they should have the cash to complete the projects, or secure good financing.  Alot of positives here.  Personally I don't know why this thing has been in free fall for so long...... Just weeding out everybody.... another note... Cornell I believe has sold 340,000 shares already or are about to.  I know Cornell, Cornell, right!  Well I don't think they want to sell them low... the time has come...  I'm  in....And I hope some more SOFers Jump On.......85 million outstanding shares..... 1 year est.  1.50!!! 8)

Ok, as of last year these guys were bringin in nada.  They had the joarcam well which produced 19 barrels a day.  Alright.  They drilled a gas well in the Sacramento valley.  It started producing.  They decided to drill another one, in the so called North Franklin zone.    By Sept/05 they were bringing in 539k for the quarter, 395k profit.
Meanwhile they were ramping up the gas wells and developing a oil well in Alberta (the 7-11).  The gas wells are paying out approx 300k a month, and the 7-11 is expected to produce 150 barrels a day. (150x60= 9000 a day!)
Of course all this development takes money.  So they recently sold their 70%interest in the Joarcam project and recieved 1.9 Mill cash money.  This money "will provide Silver Star capital to move forward in developing the North Franklin gas reservoir, fracture stimulate the 7-11 well, advance the Kansas project as well as consider future acquisitions."
So far they are on schedule if not a little ahead.   If you take just the revenue from the gas wells for the last three months your at almost double revenue quarter over quarter.  Add in the oil revenues once 7-11 gets rolling you have another double in revenue in a few months.  Add in that they could pay for all the development with cash.   This is still hypothetical but, this stock could bring in .02 per share revenue within the year.  At this price .33 that would give a forward PE of 16.5 on a business thats growing over 100% year over year. Rollin' ::)
So anyway that's the way I look at it.  You might think that prices are going to moderate because it's a warm winter..whatever.  Just wait until the hot California summer hits and all of those gas fired electric plants need to run.  Guess who's gonna be sellin some gas to them.  That's right SVSE.

Balance sheet............As of 12/04  Assets 3.2M  Liabilities 1.3M

                                         09/05            4.08M              2.5M
It will be foretelling to see how it balances out in the next report with the Joarcam sale.  Probably going to sell the news anyway.

More info..  There are some options out at .315 and .68.   Cornell is scheduled to sell their 350k shares somewhere around the 31st of Jan.  Hmmmm, just about the time the work on 7-11 is completed...  Does anyone have a view on the past couple days performance?  The stock rose fast and is just hanging there,  looks bullish to me, but not much action today, low volume, yet.  Here's an intraday.  Looks to me that it'll touch .30 again before rising...or maybe just consolidate all day.  If it consolidates I would expect a gap tomorrow.  Up or down. Perferably up.  Critical resistence at .37 and .49.  50dma .283
200dma .489

No gap.  Avg vol. consolidating. Held .30  Any comments?

Silver Star Adds Three New Board Members as Company GrowsTuesday January 17, 9:00 am ET

LOS ANGELES, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 17, 2006 -- Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTC BB:SVSE.OB - News) today is pleased to announce the appointment of three new directors to its board.

Reflective of the growth of Silver Star and in light of our increasingly complex operations and growing revenue potential, it is now prudent to appoint additional independent directors in order to broaden the breadth of experience and expertise presently possessed by the Board. We are committed to a progressive transition to a management structure that is more suited to a maturing oil and gas exploration and development company. Accordingly, we welcome the appointments of Mr. Gordon Samson, Mr. Glen Harder and Mr. William Marshall to our board.

Mr. Samson is an accredited accountant with approximately 20 years of experience in the financial arena including positions with Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (formerly Revenue Canada); a major Canadian institution as a senior banker; a regional, full-service brokerage house; Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer positions in both the US and Canada serving as a director of a number of public corporations as well as being a member of various audit committees. Mr. Samson has further served as a consultant, performing due diligence for acquisitions and other corporate transactions for various reporting companies. Mr. Samson's background spans both resource and technology firms.

Mr. Harder is a senior securities and corporate finance lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience in structuring and capitalizing early stage corporations, completing acquisitions, mergers, takeovers and arrangements, corporate governance issues, and completing public and private debt or equity financing transactions. Mr. Harder's law practice is presently focused on the natural resource sector -- primarily mining and oil and gas exploration and production. He currently represents reporting companies in both the United States and Canada.

Mr. Marshall is a financial consultant with over 15 years of venture capital experience in private and public companies. With an extensive related history in natural resource matters, Mr. Marshall brings a wealth of experience to us in areas ranging from structuring and arranging financings, corporate filing issues, sourcing and retaining appropriate management, and general organizational structure. He has served on many public company boards as a director and/or officer, and some of the present or past positions held include Chairman, President, Chief Executive Officer and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Marshall is currently President of Fidelis Energy Inc. and Cascade Energy Inc., our joint venture partners at North Franklin and Kansas.

Robert McIntosh, President of Silver Star states that "We are very pleased to have these three quality professionals join our board. Their assistance will be integral in further growing the Company to attain our goal of being a strong international oil and gas producer and explorer. Mr. Samson's accounting experience complements Mr. Harder's legal and securities resume; with Mr. Marshall's venture capital background adding a welcome dimension. All three new directors will have important roles in assisting me in my role as Company President and CEO. We intend to establish a number of independent management committees as part of our ongoing corporate development strategy."

In this regard, we are pleased to announce that our Audit Committee will now consist of David Naylor (director and Chief Financial Officer), Gordon Samson (director) and Glen Harder (director). The Company may add additional directors as circumstances require.

Thanks for your help Shipman and la-onda (applaud both).

Yes, its oil, I don't know why I said gold ... and being oil, it can run up very quickly on the current oil environment. I wonder if it will break $0.41 in a couple of weeks?

My only concern is that the volume hasn't picked up.  A couple above avg. days and good price action,  but we need volume for a spike.   Right now I'm happy it's moving slowly up. :)  I like the .41 target.  I will probably lighten up there.  Depends how price reacts there.

Rising again today.   Crossing the 90 dma.  Slowly but surely.  I'm just staring at that 200 dma (.48).    If  it broke that in the near future.   Well ::) 8)
Lots of blocks lining up at .38 today (25k).  Steady as she goes.
