I'm liking CPTC here after the closing bell. I think it's possible to get a quick profit off of this one. This one is an EliteG "G-Pattern" and I think it's a pretty good one. From right here i'd say a reasonable sell target would be in the $2.00 - $2.10 range.

Composite Technology's DeWind Announces Order for D8.2 Turbines
Thursday March 29, 8:05 am ET
XRG Places Order Valued in Excess of $40 Million

IRVINE, Calif., March 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Composite Technology Corporation (CTC) (OTC Bulletin Board: CPTC - News) announced today that its subsidiary DeWind, Inc., has received an order from XRG Development Partners LLC (XRG) for the delivery and service of 18 DeWind 2 megawatt D8.2 wind turbines. The contract value is in excess of $40 million and the turbines are scheduled for delivery in late 2007 to XRG's project site in Minnesota. This is the initial order for what both companies expect to be a long term relationship for as many as 750 turbines over the next five years.

Michael Porter, President of CTC and DeWind Inc, stated, "We are pleased that our advanced D8.2 turbine has been chosen for XRG's Minnesota site. This will be the first wind farm to use our D8.2 equipped with the Voith WinDrive® which allows high voltage power to be sent directly to the grid without the necessity for power conversion electronics. The turbines will be manufactured at the TECO Westinghouse facility in Texas."

James Carkulis, Manager of XRG, said, "This is the first turbine order for what we expect to be a long-term arrangement with DeWind for the purchase of over 1500 MW of turbines

Applaud kslifka, I think this is looking pretty good here as well.  If 1.27 holds it looks like CPTC will start an uptrend from here.  The volume is getting pretty consistent and if the PR holds true and they get an additional 750 orders over the next 5 years that would be over 1 billion in revenue over 5 years. 8)

Just an updated chart.  Looking good.   ;D  I think CPTC should at least test the $2.11 level.

I didn't pay enough attention this morning and my buy order got filled @ 1.37... Hopefully we have an up day today.  So far, not looking so good! ::)

CPTC is doing pretty well.  One piece of PR today:
Dutton Associates Announces Investment Opinion: Composite Technology Speculative Buy Rating in Initiating Coverage by Dutton Associates, which is just mildly interesting.

QuoteDutton Associates received $31,000 from the Company for 4 Research Reports with coverage commencing on 4/30/2007.

I'm looking at an extension to 161.8, at 2.36.

Boy, oh boy... CPTC is not doing what I was expecting.

I've been pretty impatient lately with stocks and have sold right before it took off (AVNR comes to mind, as well as EXM). I do not want to make the same mistake with CPTC.  I've only been holding for 29 days (in @ 1.37).

Any thoughts?
