I need your help SOF community.

What do you'all think of SONT?  I would post charts and links if I only knew how to technically.
Any help would be appreciated.

The volume is up significantly and their product Sono Prep shows promise.

They also are a stock which I lost a significant amout on and threw in the towel to take the tax loss in 2005.  This is probably the MAIN reason this run is probably for real.

Thanks for your comments ... good or bad.

As always ... Have a GRRRRRRRREAT DAY !!!!!

Wisebuys,

The breakoout certainly looks genuine, breaking descending resistance on both short and long term charts.  Now I know nothing about the stock or the company, but it looks like it has been sold off for a very long time, so this change of trend could be the real thing.

Right now, I see strong resistance at 1.00, and also long term descending resistance coming in about 1.30, so it could push up to 1.00 quite quickly but would need some sustained buying to push it above there.  Just think of all the other people who may have been in your situation who are still holding.  My initial instincts would be to look for confirmation on Monday that it is still pushing upwards, as a 50%+ gain yesterday may require some consolidation, and watch out for any pullback below support at .70-.71.  If this breakout is for real, then longer term it should be able to make it back up above 2.00 again.

Just my take on the situation...

Thanks for the technical info ScottishTrader.

Digging further into Sont, I did notice that Schwab has it flagged as failing to meet NASDAQ continued listing requirements.  Coundn't find when and if this would come into play though.  They have been trading under $1 since Oct 12, 2005.

If it is a squeeze from the NASDAQ they could be propping themselves up too get back up above $1, ala AVNX.  This could be a good sign, as if it breaks $1 they will REALLY not want to let it go below there again.

Then again, they could always instigate a reverse split....
