Market Outlook

Yesterday the market rose a couple of points on weak volume.  This is the 4th day in a row of lowering volume and this came on a Monday!  Monday's are generally higher volume days.  This decreasing volume may be a sign of uncertainty in the market as we go into todays FOMC release @ 2:15pm.

Look for the market to react violently to this news..up and down  ;).

Hey EliteG,

What is your opinion about gold today?

Also, any comments on gold movement with respect to Fed's interest rate change? ( Will gold go  up if rate increases or will it trend lower?)

Thanks,
Dhiraj

Well looking at the gold chart of yesterday.. and the analysis I had up in the Week Ahead Outlook.. I would say gold wants out of its triangle.  I'm thinking gold will do well no matter what the Fed states but we'll check on the market reaction to the announcement.  Lets let the market tell us what is up.  ;)
